About: I have animal shelter experience and as a result, have worked with several different types of animals with different personalities and am very flexible and capable of working with very different acting animals. I have a very open and free schedule so I'm able to come and check on the pets as often as needed. I can spend long periods of time with the pets when needed. In the clients home, I will care for them according to the clients standards and by following instructions down to the letter in order to prevent issues.

About: I have took care of dogs and cats since i was 9 years old. I have always had animals in my house and I love to take care of them. I have looked after my friend’s and family’s cats and dogs both. I am free most of the time! I want to find a way to help others by also doing something I love which is taking care of dogs. About: I have been fostering & training animals for rescues and shelters since 2009. I enjoy fostering because it helps more animals in the long run, I am great with animals that are unruly & have vet technician experience, so you can be sure your animal is in great hands when at my home or in my care, I love cats, dogs & caged animals & will go above and beyond for them. I can do things that most animal caretakers aren’t comfortable with, such as administer medications, light training, cleaning, bathing, grooming, even go pet shopping if needed! I will treat your babies as my own 😊 I have a huge yard & I live a few miles from a park with a walking trail. I own my business and work from home on my own schedule so I can work around my animal care schedule if needed. I have a 6 month old but can and will refrain from contact if needed. I have pets of my own as well as fosters at any given time, however my house is split level and plenty big enough to separate my animals from visiting one's to ensure safety.

About: I connect with animals of all kinds! I've had several dogs and cats, rabbits, pigs, turkeys, snakes, lizards, and a chinchilla. I currently have goats, chickens, 5 cats and a dog. I care for animals the way I care for children, they bring me such joy! I have also captured strays to get them to a rescue, and helped wild animals with injuries. I am very attentive to the animals moods and behaviors, while also going above and beyond to make sure they feel safe. I have dealt with sick animals, given medications, assisted in giving injections and followed food regimens. I have been bitten by several different kinds of animals, so I know how to deal with being bitten. I have plenty of energy to walk and play, and my own reliable transportation. I've done extensive research on behaviors and relationships of pets and I'm always learning. I would be happy to write daily reports and/or take pictures, whatever makes you feel at ease. Outside of caring for my own animals, I'm not a very busy individual, so if you need a last minute service, I will likely be available. I can transport animals in my car and also have a female German Shepherd who is fixed and is sweet as can be, if your pup would like a play mate! I take care of my animals daily, but have plenty of free time for yours! Morning, afternoon or evening, I'm available for your pet care needs. My pets are well taken care of and honestly a little spoiled 🤭. We have different foods for different cat needs, we don't use cheap food brands in our household. Our dog is walked at least 5 times a week, sometimes more. Each animals gets individual attention and plenty of pets. I make my own treats to give my dog her medicine and also try other pet recipes from time to time. All animals are vaccinated, de-wormed, and get vet check-ins annually.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. I recently retired and miss having a pup in my life. I’m available and flexible for daily walks as well as able to provide boarding in my home. I am very attentive and loving toward all fur babies. I’m a firm believer that exercise and interactive play is essential in developing a bond with each pup.

About: I've taken care of dogs for as long as I could remember, always have 1 or 3 in the house. My family and I used to foster dogs until they found a forever home. I'm very good with all dogs of all ages. I currently do not have a job due to the store I was working at closing down. I am available all day except for Tuesday and anytime works with me. Making sure your pet is as comfortable as possible is a top priority of mine. I love playing with dogs and letting them get out all the energy they want.

About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10 years old! Horses, chickens, cows, donkeys, fish, hamsters, goats, sheep, rats, kittens, dogs, etc! I am happy to help with any pet needs! I have recently graduated from college and am working part time working towards full time! About: I have a lot of experience with dogs, cats, and birds. I have been pet sitting for the same family for the last 5 years since their jobs and family require them to leave often, but they want to make sure their animals never feel neglected by this. I have administered medication for older cats and dogs, fed and rode horses, learned how to intervene safely in the event of a dog altercation, and love just being around pets of all types and sizes. Hello! I am currently a farmer turned student, recently back in college after a few years as an organic vegetable farmer. Petsitting allows me a flexible job while I’m in school and gives me a chance to connect with the community in another way. I love the chance to meet everyone’s furry companions & learn more about people outside of my daily rhythms. I am an avid cyclist and hiker, so am happy to take along any pet that's down to adventure at the nearby trails. I’ve watched houses with up to 7 dogs at a time, so I’m very comfortable with multiple animals and giving each one the attention they need.

About: I currently do not have any pets, but have had multiple throughout the years. I am excited to gain more experience and to take care of pups or cats. I currently work as a remote event planning intern, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with pups! I have free time throughout the day and evenings, while being home for work! About: I’ve been around dogs & puppies a big chunk of my years, but around 2 years ago is when I got my baby when she was a baby! I trained her since a pup & love giving people advice Currently no job so availability Monday - Friday ! They’ll get more than enough attention & play time or whatever they need and want (: Anyway needed, there is no strict way to care for dogs as they are all different and need different things! About: Animals just relax around me. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a full time potter who just opened an art gallery in downtown Blowing Rock. I run the gallery Wednesday-Sat 11-5 and Sunday 1-5. Beyond those hours, I can make myself available to spend time with your pet(s) either at my home or yours, as frequently as is needed. If your pet needs a potty break midway through my shift, I may be able to accommodate by having a friend cover my gallery mid day to run to let them out. Otherwise, I’ll just be sure they get a good thorough walk before and after my shift. I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. I will follow whatever routines you generally stick to and prefer when working with your animals.
