“You will be very impressed with Erica. My Huckleberry Finn adores her! She will send you pictures and updates the whole time she has your fur baby. Also she takes them for walks and play time”
“Our puppy had a great time playing and running in Carlos’s large backyard with the other dogs she was watching. She had a wonderful 3 night stay and Carola send lots of pictures and videos to keep us updated! We can’t thank her enough!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. With the limited hours available there, I thought we could try this avenue as well. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. We love walking dogs, playing fetch, petting them, and providing lots of love. We enjoy playing with cat toys, and giving them plenty of attention as well.
“Alyson always takes great care of Aerys. She is very communicative and quick to respond. I would recommend her to anyone. She will care for your pet, like it's her own.”

“Heather was perfectly confident and capable, punctual, communicative...all the things we need from a dog sitter and a sweet person, to boot. We have a 16 week old puppy and he is quite a handful. Heather happily took him on to begin with, and in the end she said she actually had fun with him. And I believe her! She kept him on his potty schedule and made sure he got enough sleep. We were very happy with Heather and we loved the sweet photos of her dog playing with ours. Her dog is so very gentle and loving to our little guy and it was a perfect match.”

“Excellent experience. Amanda and her family were very accommodating, communicated with us every day on how our Shelby girl was doing. They went above and beyond for this overly protective dog Mom! Highly recommend.”

“Amanda did a wonderful job! Very friendly. Took great care of our two dogs. And provided an update every day we were gone, sometimes including photos. Will definitely use her again.”

“Gracie is a great dog sitter, she communicates well and timely, clearly loves animals, and provided a safe and loving home for my dog. Attie (my dog) had a great time fetching balls and playing with her dog toys. Gracie even sent a couple of balls home with her. I would highly recommend Gracie, and would not hesitate to ask her to dog sit again.”

“My dog Buddy truly had an excellent doggie vacation. Melissa’s yard is enormous and he loved getting to run around. I got picture and text updates daily. Will definitely use Melissa in the future!”

“Jimena has taken such good care of our Midas. She has sent us videos and pictures of him each day. That made us happy seeing he was having a good time and interacting with her and the other dogs. He has had space to spend outside and inside. She accepted our reservation at the very last minute too!!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Samuel and Erica! This was my first time boarding my dog, and I was incredibly nervous—but they made the entire experience amazing from start to finish. A few days before the stay, they invited me over for a meet-and-greet so I could get a feel for their home, meet them, and introduce my dog to their sweet pup, Lana. The moment I walked in, I knew they were the right people. Their space was welcoming, safe, and dog-friendly, and their kind energy instantly put me at ease. Throughout the stay, they went above and beyond. They sent frequent updates and lots of pictures, which made me smile every time. It was so comforting to see my dog happy, relaxed, and having a blast with Lana. When my dog didn’t want to eat at first, they reached out right away and kept me posted until she finally finished her dinner—something I really appreciated as a nervous first-timer. When I picked her up, she was completely worn out—in the best way! After three days of nonstop play and attention, she came home happy, tired, and clearly had the time of her life. Samuel and Erica treated my dog exactly how I would want her to be treated—with love, patience, and genuine care. They communicated wonderfully, kept me in the loop the whole time, and truly felt like people I could trust completely. I’ll absolutely be booking with them again. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Thom was the absolute BEST dog sitter I have ever had. And I have been using rover for years! He sent me frequent pictures, videos, and updates of my girl while she was there. He took amazing care of her and handled her high energy so well! He is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and so kind. I have never felt more comfortable leaving my girl with a new sitter. I recommend him to everyone!”

“We left Bella, our 6 month old pit mix with her and she did absolutely amazing! We got daily pics and updates of Bella and she would always text back right away! Bella had so much fun and we will for sure be having Kristy dog-sit next time we go out of town! Thank you Kristy!!”
“Katy took wonderful care of our two pups. They are full of energy! She helped get them settled and was a good communicator with us. We will definitely use her again! Highly recommend!”

“Megan and Josh were absolutely amazing house sitters! They took the best care of my girl Khloe, sent me daily photo updates, and left the house way cleaner than it was before. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Emily is an outstanding sitter! My husband and I are so thankful to have found her. Emily updated us multiple times a day with pictures and messages about our 8 cats. She brought special toys for them to play with, and when we returned the house was clean and our babies were so happy. We could tell right away they got plenty of love while we were gone. I would recommend her highly to anyone in need of a reliable sitter that cares!”

About: I grew up with all different sizes and different breeds of dogs. I also dog sit for family members when asked and love to walk, feed, and bathe the animals. I’m a veterinary technician so taking care of animals is part of my everyday routine. My passion is taking care of all the little fur babies and making sure they are loved. I currently have two chihuahua mix’s and a leopard gecko so we have a daily routine of getting up to go potty, eating breakfast, playing and making sure the babies are set for the day while moms away at work.
About: I have 2 dogs of my own (a mini schnauzer and a cattle dog). I always watch my families pets when they go out of town and they always know they’re in amazing care and are spoiled to the max when gone. They rely on bathing, feeding, walking or letting them out to run in their back yard, clean up accidents, and play with them. I do work full time unless my schedule changes so if it changes and I can always update anyone on that and go earlier if possible. During the week I am available to walk/check in between 7am to 8am before work typically unless my schedule changes and after work would be after 5:30pm unless my schedule changes and I get off earlier and weekends I am completely flexible! I can play with the dogs in your home or your backyard if you have one. Feed and water them if they’re on a schedule. Ensure gates/doors are locked/closed to ensure safety.

About: Hi! My name is Chesnut. I’m kind and compassionate and will love caring for your furry buddy. I have grown up taking care of my family’s dogs and have two of my own for the last five years. P.s. If you have a really active dog, I love taking dogs on runs or hikes or long walks. I work from home so available all week long. On weekends my husband and I tend to go hiking, so if the dogs enjoy hikes we will take them, but if not then we can adjust our schedules. We have an unfenced yard for potty breaks (leashed), but will take the dogs to the local dog park for exercise or on leashed walks/hikes.
About: Pet care is my full time job, so I have open availability! I am also a proud owner of a fully trained German Shepard. I’m open to doing dog walking/playtime, day sitting and overnights! I’m a full time student graduating in criminal justice with bachelor degree this coming summer 2027 who is responsible and dependable. All prices are negotiable depending on the needs. I’ve been a pet lover and caretaker since I was 10 years old. I’m 22 yrs old now and a proud owner of a 5 yr old German Shepherd who is fully trained. I believe all animals deserve one on one attention, care, & Love. I care for pets by making sure their basic needs are met first. Along with assuring each pet is happy and are enjoying their time with me. So much that I want them to be excited with just hearing my name. Whether in my home or at a clients home I follow any specific care instructions, maintain a clean space and provide consistent attentions, love and care to help pets feel safe and happy in my presence.
About: A little about myself, I am currently a teacher at John Battle High School. I can work most days and weekends but sometimes days conflict due to my work schedule. I have always been around pets my whole life and love interacting with them! I work well with all animals and have the most experience with cats and dogs. I offer the follow offers: drop in visits, walks, or in home sitting due to have two of my own dogs. I am looking forward to helping and becoming friends with your pets! They will be treated as if they are my own! I can make sure your pets are well taken care of. I have two of my own that will love keeping yours company and playing. I have two friendly dogs to keep yours company. Everything that will be needed for your dog will be sure to be taken care of.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I have been taking care of animals since I was 15 years old. I stared working at a vets office and haven’t looked back. Pet care can look like many different things in my week such as, a single feeding, a walk, a check in or the full on in home service with all the feedings and all the walks. While, I would love to have every dog and cat over to my house I can’t realistically do that b/c I own a cat who does love other cats and she tolerates dogs, your dog or cat would have to be cat friendly. So most of my jobs are me coming to your home whether that is a drop in or a full time boarding situation while you’re on vacation.
About: I have over 45 yrs of experience in pet care. I was a dog trainer (now partially retired), owned my own pet sitting business for many years, fostered/adopted many rescues and I currently volunteer at and support several rescues. Animals are my heart and soul and I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I'm currently working part time and I will make myself available for your pet 24/7 whether it's late night potty trips outside or long walks during the day. I will care for your pets however you would like. I can do long walks, short walks, provide medications, specially prepared meals, play games, etc. I specialized in elderly dogs, hospice dogs and medical needs dogs when I fostered.
About: My family have always owned at least 4 dogs at a time and growing up it was our responsibility as kids to care for them. We would brush them, walk them, feed them, and bath them. I work fully remote and am willing to travel. I would be able to give full attention to your pets. Since my job is remote, it gives me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. Most of my days are spent behind a monitor working. They will have my attention at all time. They might get tired of me wanting to play with them. I love being around dogs and will make sure your fury friend is well taken care of and happy
About: I've taken care of animals since as long as I can remember! In total I have had 1 Beagle, 2 Golden Retrievers and 3 Cats to my name. I have fostered a total of 6 rabbits, 12 Cats, and 1 mouse that was pregnant and turned into 10 mice. As a former elementary school teacher and now a preacher, I’m used to being responsible, attentive, patient, and dependable. I also help my boss run a local business, which gives me a flexible schedule rather than a traditional 9–5 workday. This allows me to have plenty of flexibility and availability to give your pet the time and attention they deserve. I’m organized and comfortable managing schedules, routines, and responsibilities. Whether your pet needs regular walks, playtime, meals, medication, or simply some extra companionship, I’ll make sure they receive the care and attention they need. My experience as a teacher has taught me patience, kindness, and the importance of being attentive to individual needs. You can trust that your pet will be treated with love, safety, and care while you’re away. My goal is to make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for—and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I live on a good amount of land with plenty of space to provide your pet with a safe, active, and stimulating environment. I’ve grown up with dogs and have a strong understanding of their needs, from regular exercise and playtime to companionship and individual care. I also drive a minivan, which gives me the ability to safely transport pets when needed and provide opportunities for outdoor time and adventures. Whether it’s taking them for a walk, playing outside, going for a ride, or simply relaxing and keeping them company, I’ll make sure they get a good balance of exercise, attention, and love. I can also help look after your home while you’re away by watering plants, bringing in mail and packages, taking out the trash, and making sure everything is secure. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for—and for you to have peace of mind knowing both your pet and your home are in good hands!

“Sydney is amazing!! She helped me out with my puppy very last minute. She always came on time and followed instructions perfectly! “Alyson is very accommodating. She responded immediately on my first message. After dropping our dog to her she updates me from time to time. She’s also very understanding coz we picked our dog late. I might use her again in the future in case we need someone to look after our baby. Thank you so much Alyson. ?”

“Carola was an awesome host. We met her the day before and she put our minds at ease as this was the first time we left Penny at a daycare. Penny had a wonderful day with Carola and some other dogs. Thank you!”

“Lori did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Claire, during daycare! From the moment we met her, it was clear she genuinely loves and understands dogs. Claire can be a little particular at times, but Lori made her feel completely comfortable and at ease right away. She kept me updated throughout the day with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I picked Claire up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s such a relief knowing she was safe and happy. I would absolutely recommend Lori to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring pet sitter!”

“Leaving our beloved dog, Abby, with a total stranger was a first for us, but we were camping and needed a dog sitter for half a day. From the moment we got out of the truck, Gracie was interacting with Abby. It was like they were old friends. Abby had a fun day with Gracie, her dog, and the fenced in backyard. “Alexa was great! She was super communicative and showed up on time every single day for a month to walk our two dogs while we were settling into a new house. She got them plenty of exercise each day, gave updates on how they did on each walk, adjusted walk lengths based on the weather and how much energy the dogs had each day, and overall was super attentive to each dog’s individual needs. About: I’ve helped take care of every animal you can think of! About: II’ve loved animals my whole life and have a natural gift for connecting with them—especially cats! I have extensive experience with medical care, including giving injections, liquid medications, and complex pill schedules. I also previously held a Groomer’s License in Colorado, so I am very comfortable handling pets of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve cared for animals with everything from broken limbs to chronic diseases, so your pet is in very capable hands." I moved to Elizabethton just before Thanksgiving to be with my parents and I became the primary caregiver for my father, who has dementia. It’s a responsibility I’m proud to take on. Getting out of the house to walk, play with, and fall in love with your pets is exactly what I need to stay balanced. Since I manage my dad’s daily tasks, I have a very flexible schedule and the time to truly focus on your fur-babies. I’m looking for that 'pet therapy' a reason to get out and about just as much as your pets are looking for a loving caregiver. I’ll be there whenever you need me to even in short notice! Safety and trust are my top priorities. When I am in your home, I am respectful of your space and extremely vigilant about door safety and environment hazards. I am honest about my capabilities; I would never attempt a medical or care task if I wasn't 100% confident I could do it safely. My vehicle is also set up for safety, with plenty of room and when needed a leash that conect to their collar or harness then buckes to the backseat so your pets are secure while we are on the go.
About: Animals just relax around me. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a potter who works from my home studio, and I make my own schedule- so I can generally be flexible and accommodate your pets needs. I love having pets in my home, and breaking away from my studio to get some fresh air and puppy/kitty love too! If I’m working on a big project, it’s nice to have to flexibility to come and go from my studio when possible, or have your pet there with me- but I have worked out all kinds of house sit/drop in/boarding arrangements according to the needs of clients and their pets. Let’s talk! I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. I will follow whatever routines you generally stick to and prefer when working with your animals. Give me all the details of your needs and preferences, boundaries and particulars- no matter what type of sit- so I can be sure you and your pet(s) feel a sense of trust, ease, and predictability.

I would love to help out with drop-ins and dog walks! I take the safety of your pets and the care of your home very serious. If you have pets that require special attention or have high anxiety, I’m there to ensure everyone is safe, relaxed, and taken care of. I care for your pets as if they were my own and you can be rest assured they'll not only have their needs met, but be loved, played with and given plenty of attention as well!
About: Cared for dogs, cats, and various farm animals for many years in a variety of contexts. 31 years old Born and raised in Wilkes county, Appstate grad, traveled the world working on farms, taking care of children, and playing/caring for animals all the while Since I'm a teacher, I am very free during the summer, weekends, and during all the other breaks in the school schedule. During the summer (till mid August) I will be spending large amounts of time either in your home or taking care of pets as the larger portion of my day and night. During the school year, I will be able to provide intensive attention after normal work hours, and rich weekend experiences for your pets. My availability during the different holiday breaks like Spring and Christmas break are much like the summer. I will be sure to respect and follow any instructions given to a tee and deliver prompt communication throughout the entire process. I pride myself on thorough, emphatic, attentive, and fun care of your beloved furry family members.
About: I’ve always had a love for animals and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I take the time to get to know each pet so they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in loving, reliable hands. As a college student, I don’t have the time to have a pet of my own right now, so pet sitting is the perfect way for me to spend time with animals while helping other pet owners. I genuinely enjoy caring for pets, whether that means going on walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. Pet care fits well into my schedule, and I love being able to give pets the attention and care they deserve while their owners are away. I primarily provide care in my clients’ homes because I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and lots of love and attention. I also make sure their home stays clean and secure while they’re away. If I care for a pet in my own home, I’ll provide a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment where they receive plenty of supervision, exercise, and affection.

“You will be very impressed with Erica. My Huckleberry Finn adores her! She will send you pictures and updates the whole time she has your fur baby. Also she takes them for walks and play time”
“Alyson always takes great care of Aerys.

“Jacades was wonderful to choose for Cody. He literally slept from the time he got back in the car. (That tells me he played all day) … That’s amazing! She was very tactful and communicative. I definitely will be using her for Cody’s future sitter!”

“Do you want your pets to feel so at home and comfortable that they are upset when they leave? Mark's house is the place to be! Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mark helped us on short notice and was able to provide us peace and reassurance that our babies were cared for! Mark kept our male and female German Shepherds, and they had an absolute blast. Mark sent us multiple photos and videos and kept us very up-to-date on what they were doing throughout their visit. He asked questions about their personalities and needs that showcased his care and attention to detail. With his knowledge and experience with German Shepherds, it really shined in the care he provided them! I would definitely recommend Mark, and especially recommend Mark to people with German Shepherds or working line dogs! We and our babies would love to use Mark again!”
