“Claire was SO patient and understanding with our very anxious dog. She was very communicative while we were gone and sent photos. We would definitely book Claire again for dog and house sitting.”

About: I have always grown up with animals, specifically large to medium dogs, so they've been a part of my life always. I do not have certified training but have trained my own personal companions, a great white Pyrenees and English pointer, and they are very clever! I am always looking to broaden my scope! I also love long walks and play time! I work a typical 9-5, but weekends are typically most available. Sometimes I get home early when the work is done and can be available usually after 2PM weekdays. I have a very flexible work schedule, shoot me a message and we can set something up to best suit your pets' needs. I currently stay in a spaceous 2-bedroom apartment in Chico on a quiet, and beautiful residential road. There are several outdoor green space and many options for trailheads and the bike path is just next door for those that like longer walks! I keep my place very clean and share with my furry roommate (cat Sasha) as seen in my profile photos. She loves both dogs and cats and can be easily kept away from your pet if need be if your pet prefers one on one time. I included a photo of my layout for those with smaller to medium dogs it would be very comfortable as doggy daycare in my home. I also pride myself in maintaining general cleanliness both in your home and mine. I'm happy to clean litter boxes, pick up doggy droppings, brush and clean fur, or whatever is requested within reason, just ask!

“Lauren is wonderful! She is professional, friendly, and takes excellent care of our fur baby. While I hate to leave my cat for extended periods, it’s a great comfort knowing that she’s the one taking care of him. I will definitely book with her again.”

“Holly took great care of our cat who is ill. We really appreciated the thoughtful care and good communication. Also appreciated that she offered to come over ahead of time to get oriented with our home and routines. Thank you Holly!”

About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart as I have had several dogs since I was born that were all well loved. I offer loving, reliable care with plenty of play, cuddles, and attention to your pet’s needs. Whether it’s a walk, a weekend stay, or just some company while you're away, I treat every animal like my own. With experience, patience, and a calming presence, your pets will be in safe, happy hands if you decide to choose me to be your sitter. I currently have a lot of availability as I am not in school, but without a job. Thursdays I dont have any method of transportation other than walking or biking so I will only accept walking distance jobs on those days. I'm available any time between 10am and 7pm for non-overnight jobs. When caring for someones fur baby, I make sure to follow the owner's instructions carefully, keeping the pet’s routine consistent. I provide fresh food and water, ensure plenty of playtime, walks, or cuddles depending on their needs, and keep their environment clean and safe. I also send regular updates and photos to reassure the owner. Most importantly, I treat their pet as if they were my own, giving them love, patience, and attention throughout my stay.

“Emily watched our two beagle boys for Labor Day weekend last minute. She was accommodating, sent pictures, updates, and kept our house tidy (even washing the bedding before she left). I would definitely recommend her.”

All the way back to when she was a little kid she has always taken care of animals whether it was her pet or bottle feeding baby kittens found abandoned with out a mama cat and helping them finding a forever home. In high school she was part of the agriculture program known as the Future Farmers of America (FFA) where she raised 5 animals from pigs, goats and a steer for school projects. Her commitment to animals was recognized by her teachers and classmates and was nominated and elected as a class officer. Now in College she is majoring in Agriculture education with the hopes of one day possibly becoming a High School Agriculture teacher and once again being part of the Future Farmers of America or becoming an Agriculture college professor. Either way she plans on spending her life being part of a community that is dedicate towards helping and caring for animals/pets. I would recommend her to any organization that is involved animals/pets”
