“We always have anxiety when we leave our girl, but we know she is well loved and cared for with Allen and his family. They treat her like family and send daily updates. And super quick to answer texts. Thank you for taking great care of Pebbles.”

“Valerie was absolutely wonderful with my high-energy Aussie! She handled his energy and enthusiasm like a pro, kept him happy all day, and made sure he got plenty of playtime. I really appreciated the picture updates —it was so nice to see him having fun and being cared for so well. I would definitely recommend Valerie to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter!”

“Xutao was wonderful with our puppy, Tootles! He kept us updated with plenty of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We could tell that our puppy was happy, well cared for, and enjoying his time. Xutao and his kids really loves animals and takes his job seriously. We would definitely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!”

“During my baby’s stay there he looks happy all the time and Teo sent me all updates and pictures during his stay. Really best stay for my puppy Thanks to Teo’s family to take care for Ally”

“Amanda is such a wonderful sitter. At our boys last sitter he was putting on weight.. which is very easy for a golden retriever to do. Since staying with Amanda and her family he has slowly lost the weight he gained from regular walks and appropriate food rations. We can’t thank them enough for getting our boy back on track. Best sitter ever!”

About: I have eight years of experience caring for dogs and have raised two dogs of my own since they were puppies. I’m comfortable with daily walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and following each pet’s normal routine. I also have experience caring for friends’ cats, including feeding, cleaning litter boxes, playing with them, and keeping them company. I’m patient and attentive, and I always do my best to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m home most of the time, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, day care, and overnight boarding. I can provide regular potty breaks, feeding, playtime, walks, and plenty of companionship while following each pet’s usual routine. I always follow each owner’s instructions and take the time to learn their pet’s routine, personality, and needs. Dogs are kept securely leashed during walks, and I pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. Pets staying in my home will have a clean, comfortable environment with regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I want every pet to feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable while in my care.
“They took excellent care of Pippi and made sure he was comfortable and happy the entire time. I got regular updates, and it was clear Pippi was in great hands. Pippi came home relaxed — I could tell he was well-loved while I was away. I’d definitely book with them again. Highly recommend!”

“Our Morty is a spoiled baby! Marie & Rafael took such great care of him. He came home happy and healthy. We called it Morty’s Summer Camp. We would recommend them and the care the care they give to our fur baby!”

“Our dogs were taken care of very well. They were actually spoiled and they even got her special food since one of them would not eat. Def will be using them again. Amazing care for our fur babies.”

“I had a great experience with Dana. My dog seemed comfortable and happy during his stay, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. She clearly has a natural way with dogs, and I could tell my dog felt safe and well-cared for. I would definitely trust her again to watch my dog in the future! Highly recommend!”

“Eunice was very good at keeping us up-to-date every day for the day of a week and a half. My dog had just calmed down from an IVDD flareup and was on a handful of medications. To my knowledge, Eunice and her husband were able to keep up with the medication’s, provide him attention, and exercise he needed while I was gone. She even spoiled him with a couple of walks. Normally, my dog is very excited to see me whenever I leave him and come back. However, he did not want to come home this time. He absolutely loved Eunice, her husband, and her cat. He actually seemed sad to come home. I would definitely recommend Eunice and will utilizing her services in the future.”
“Darlene was literally the sweetest ever to watch and take care of our baby. I have a feeling my little kitty didn’t want to leave 😂 thank you for all the pictures, love and kindness. I would book again a million times over.”

“We loved Annabelle’s calm, friendly approach. This was the first time having someone watch our dog and she allowed Gigi the space she needed to get comfortable. I also loved the way Annabelle shared photos and let us know how it was going. We will definitely do this again!”

“Joe was flexible and accommodating for drop off and pick up. There was plenty of space within and outside of the home. He learned and adapted to my dog's personality and habits. Joe sent me updates and pics, which was very comforting while I was away. Definitely will book again!”

About: I've been a dog owner for years and currently have a Yorkie of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pet. Friends and family regularly rely on me as their go-to dog sitter, whether that's caring for their dogs in my home or stopping by for drop-in visits. I'm a huge dog lover and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood with walking paths and a nearby dog park, so your pup will have plenty of opportunities for exercise, fresh air, and enrichment (if that's part of their normal routine). I know every dog has a different personality and comfort level, so I take the time to learn their routine and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or just having someone keep them company, I'll care for them like they're my own. I work Monday through Friday, but I am available after 5 PM for walks, drop-ins, and evening visits. I’d be happy to include your dog in my nightly walking routine with my own Yorkie, or I can give your pup one-on-one attention if they prefer their own walk. For overnight requests and/or check in and walks, I am available on weekends and can build pet care into my routine. I’m an early bird, so I’m also happy to accommodate early morning check-ins and make sure your pet starts their day with care, attention, and a good walk. My home is set up with pets in mind, with a small turf area available for quick potty breaks and a dog park within walking distance for walks, exercise, and enrichment. I want pets to feel comfortable and safe while they’re in my care, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m visiting theirs. For in-home visits, I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, medication reminders (if needed), and plenty of attention. I also love setting aside dedicated playtime, enrichment, and cuddle time based on your dog’s personality and what makes them feel most comfortable. My goal is to make your pet feel cared for and loved while keeping their routine as consistent as possible while you’re away.

About: I have experience with small and large dogs. Have owned a Great Dane since it was a puppy and worked with it extensively to be an incredible and safe dog. I understand a dog’s body language, how to properly care for it and tend to its needs. In addition, I do have basic knowledge of canine first aid and how to handle all dogs in an emergency. I’m currently at home Monday through Friday and can care for your dog all day. Some weekends are open and can be accommodating. With my schedule being open, your dog will get undivided attention. I have a large fenced back yard for the dogs. In addition, there is running water, a large grass area and a slope for the dogs to explore and exercise. I’m currently working on a washing station to give your dogs baths if requested. I also have an elevated dog bed (Kurunda) and soft dog beds with lots of dog toys.
“Brenda took amazing care of my 2 pups! It was my first time leaving on a trip and having to find a sitter for them and I’m so glad i went with brenda! My dogs loved her so much and i will definitely be booking again with Brenda in the future!”

Katherine was the most affordable and flexible to schedule last minute in the North Fontana area. I had a last minute business trip to attend and Katherine made herself available to host my two girl dogs, Coco & Chanel. It was my first time booking with her, since it was last minute, the other girl I normally take my dogs to for boarding was unavailable. But I’m so glad for this happy coincidence! Katherine sent me photos everyday, even if I forgot to check in on my girls myself, she always sent me a daily photos/check in. Which I truly appreciated. She followed their diet schedule and was so understanding and easy going with the fact that both my babies are getting old (14 & 15) and one needed much more regular bathroom breaks. I was SO ELATED to see my babies so comfortable in her home (I could easily tell from the pics they made her home their own very quickly LOL). She had a bed available for each of them so I didn’t need to bring anything except their leashes & food. And the absolute BEST part was seeing my babies SOOO HAPPY at pickup because I have taken them to boarding before where their eyes were filled with dried tears and they hadn’t eaten in days…so to see them SO HAPPY made me so happy. Katherine is definitely worth booking with and she was the most flexible and affordable in my area so I’m glad I was able to book with her!
I would recommend Jubin to anyone who wants their fur baby to be in a safe and happy environment. My dog Monty gets very nervous around new people and a new environment, this was his first time doing this, and Jubin made him feel so safe. The constant updates, photos and videos put my head at ease! Monty even had an accident , and she did not criticize or blame me for anything, which made me feel so much better. I can’t wait for Monty to his new aunty again 😂 Thank you so much Jubin!!

Valerie was so sweet and took great care of Louis. She was easy to talk to and she made sure to ask all about Louis preferences and routine. She even sent a reminder list of things to pack before his stay. She kept us updated with multiple daily photos, and he looked like he was so comfortable and felt at right at home with her. She will definitely be our go-to sitter.

Taaj was wonderful with my fur babies. They are both a little clingy but he managed to get them calm and comfortable in no time. His communication was great and updates were wonderful! I would feel comfortable leaving them in his care for future trips! Thank you Taaj.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
