When Copper became sick, I cared for him with patience, love, and unwavering dedication—doing everything I could to make him comfortable and happy. That experience deepened my understanding of how important pets are to their families; they’re not “just pets,” they’re family. I treat every dog in my care with the same level of kindness and attentiveness I gave Copper. Safety is always my top priority, and I’m always learning and growing so I can provide the best care possible. I left my older dog, Macy with Valerie over the Thanksgiving holiday. She was wonderful! Not only was she super accommodating with pick up and drop off, she sent updates regularly. She let Macy live like part of her household which is how she lives at home. The entire experience was perfect for our family.
Valerie was great with our Koda!! She was very easy to get ahold of before and during Koda’s stay. She sent photos and kept me up to date throughout her stay.
Valerie was absolutely wonderful with my high-energy Aussie! She handled his energy and enthusiasm like a pro, kept him happy all day, and made sure he got plenty of playtime. I really appreciated the picture updates —it was so nice to see him having fun and being cared for so well. I would definitely recommend Valerie to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter!
Valerie was absolutely amazing! As new puppy parents, we were understandably nervous about leaving Jeter with someone for the first time—but Valerie made the entire experience incredibly easy and stress-free. From the beginning, she was kind, communicative, and clearly experienced. Throughout the day, she sent us updates and adorable photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear Jeter was not only well cared for but genuinely having a great time. The happiest moment was seeing how joyful and relaxed he was when we picked him up—it reassured us that he was in the best hands. Schedule
I work full-time in healthcare Monday through Friday so I’m available for dog walks on weekday evenings around 5 PM with the exception of: (spring, summer, Thanksgiving, and winter break where I am available 7 days a week. On weekends, I have more flexibility and can offer walks, drop-in visits, and boarding. I’m available for boarding from Friday evening through Sunday, as well as drop-in visits on Saturdays and Sundays. Weekend walks can be scheduled at any time, based on your pet’s needs. I do my best to accommodate each family’s schedule and provide dependable, loving care every time!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Our home has a fully fenced yard where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time, and we’re located near two parks that are perfect for peaceful walks. There’s also a nearby dog park for more active play, depending on your dog’s needs and energy level. Dogs are always welcome inside our home, though we kindly keep them off the furniture to maintain a clean and respectful space. We take pride in keeping our home safe, tidy, and pet-friendly, so your furry friend will always feel secure and cared for while staying with us.
A typical day
I have two large parks right in my neighborhood—perfect for stimulating your dog’s mind and helping them get their steps in! Whether it's a leisurely stroll or some energetic play, your pup will have plenty of outdoor time. At home, we have a fully fenced backyard where they can safely roam and explore. I also encourage you to bring your dog’s favorite toys so I can keep them engaged indoors and during our park visits. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities in every environment.
