About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. As an adult I gave rescued and fostered all sizes and breeds. Dogs have filled my homes with love and joy and I look forward to sharing my large fenced back yard with a playful puppy or a well seasoned frisbee catcher I currently work three days a week, no more than 6 hours per day. I can visit twice daily, depending on location if a walk is needed. If I am pet sitting or boarding the pets will not be alone for more than 5 hours at a time. I have a large fenced yard with a 1/4 mile walking path just beyond the gate, backing up to Haliburton Park. I am also just 10 minutes from Carolina Beach State Park and the dog park if your pup likes to socialize

I have a large and grassy fenced in back yard and they will have the company of my 13 year old Chihuahua, Kai. There are numerous dog beds but the pets are also allowed on the couch and in bed. Mia and Mary were wonderful with our precious dog Tucker!!!! They had toys, blankets and fresh water ready for him along with activities already planned. He had a great "spa day" with the way Mia and Mary catered to him! This was our only experience with Rover.com. Whew! I’m glad I found Laurie! My husband and I had over lapping engagements we really can’t get out of and needed a first time sitter for our rescue pup Vincent Price. We had a trial day care to be sure it would work out. Laurie was great and Vincent seemed right at home! Finding a trust worthy pet sitter is hard and when you find one it sure puts your mind at ease.
