About: I have 3.5 years of professional experience managing a dog daycare/boarding/grooming facility averaging over 100 dogs per day. I have experience working with dogs of different sizes, ages, and breeds, as well as personal experience with cats too! I've also cared for small animals such as rabbits, hamsters, and fish. I grew up learning the importance of responsibility of pet care with our family dog and petsitting for my neighbors and friends. In previous years, I volunteered at my local animal shelter where I learned to work with dogs of various backgrounds and temperaments. In addition, I worked with both puppies and adult dogs through the Wilmington service dog organization, paws4people Foundation for three years. I love getting to know the unique personalities of each dog I meet. I’m currently a proud owner of three goofy rescue pups, so I know how much it means to trust the people who care for your fur baby. I’m most available in the evenings on weekdays after 5:30pm and anytime on weekends. I may be able to accommodate early morning visits depending on your location. I can do anything from simple check-ins and potty breaks to walks, meals, medication administration, baths, nail trims, and more. About: I’ve been walking dogs since I was 9. I’ve worked with dogs for most of my life. I have worked with training, dog physical therapy, walking, and over night care. I have created loving relationships with all the dogs I’ve walked as many of them I have spent years taking care of. I am very reliable and have built so many relationships with the owners of the dogs I’ve taken care of. I am a student at UNCW Wilmington, so my classes are in the morning and end around noon so I’ll be available early morning as well as afternoons and evenings. My schedule is very flexible, including weekends were I will be available for overnight and weekend sitting as well as dog walks! I live in an apartment so pet sitting in my place would not be available. I have a car so I will be able to drive to peoples houses or apartments to walk their dog in their neighborhood or bring their dogs to different places for walks.

About: Pets have always been my world! I grew up with a total of 4 cats and my family adopted our first dog, Penny, when I was 15. I took charge of her afternoon walks, playtime, and all the cuddles. Taking care of Penny taught me just how amazing the bond with a dog can be. A few years later, I went off to college and realized just how much I missed having a dog around. After two semesters, I adopted a rescue of my own and have loved every moment of caring for him since. From training challenges to vet visits, I’ve learned so much about what it means to be a dedicated pet parent. I’ve also been a Rover user myself, and I know firsthand how much peace of mind it brings to find someone you can trust with your dog. I want to give other pet parents the same great care and reassurance I received which is why I treat every pet like my own! If you’re looking for a sitter who truly cares, I’d love to help! I currently work a hybrid position only requiring me in the office three days a week; each for a half day. This leaves plenty of time for me to bond with your pet!
