About: Growing up, I had 4 dogs and a cat, seperated between households. More recently, I've been much more cat oriented since my partner is a lover of cats. I try to stay up to date on training research, and I'm big on communication! Your pet is your family member, and I want to know how to treat them best! I'm a freelancer so my schedule is always changing! I travel a lot both locally and further so making stops and changes in my plans are normal for me! I like to know exactly how you want your pet treated so expect lots of questions so I can ensure your pet feels safe and happy while their best friend (you) is away!
“Huge huge huge shout out to MacKenzie for watching my pups while I was out of town! I just moved up here and was a little worried about being away from the new place/state and leaving the dogs up here in the meantime. However, MacKenzie just seemed trustworthy, cool, and kind, and I was right! Not only did she want to make sure she did a good job and followed their schedules and everything to a T, she also just loved and cared about them instantly. What really sold MacKenzie as just being a rockstar was her willingness to work with my one dog who has major stranger danger and takes a bit to trust especially with females. MacKenzie did what she could and spent a lot of time focusing on his comfortability and building his trust with her while still ensuring my other dog got her attention and love as well. Throughout the visits, MacKenzie gave me numerous photos and videos as well as updates from all her visits. About: Walked and fed my neighbors dog since I was 13, until I moved out of state. Then got my first dog Maia, who is now 7. She had endometria and has arthritis and I’ve been there for her through sickness and health! Also got my second dog Peanut who is the clumsiest bullmastiff ever! He is 4 now. I’m great with big dogs and small dogs. I served in the army where I have dog sat, dropped in for feedings, walked multiple dogs and house sat for multiple friends and colleagues. I’m currently transitioning from active duty and waiting for my Texas nursing license to transfer to a New York. So I’m free to take pups on long walks, spend the day with them or just pop in for feeds! I love playing with dogs and cats. I’m very loving to all animals and will give lots of pets, attention and play with them while caring for them.

About: I grew up with dogs, and owned my own for 7 years. I have house sat for multiple families and prefer to stay at the home since I have found it to be less stressful for the pets. I have experience with dogs, cats, rats, Guinea pigs, horses, and even reptiles! I also have experience with animals that need medication such as anxiety meds and insulin. I am currently in esthetics school and working park time. Depending on when booking my schedule may be different. If your pet is special needs, I will adjust my schedule to fit those needs when given advanced notice. If the yard is fenced I will use that or a leash if that is provided. I can also take your dogs on a walks! When letting dogs out, I prefer to keep an eye on them so I will usually sit outside while they do their business.
About: I have always had pets my whole life, a whole variety of them too! I have experience working with much larger animals including horses as well, which happen to be my favorite! I have cared for a handful of neighbors pets including walking them, feeding, taking out, and playing too. I am working part-time currently so I will have plenty of time to play with and care for your feline or fido! Walks are always a plus as I get my exercise too! I am always one to put the animal first. If your baby is a little more skiddish, I'll give them plenty of time to warm up! If they want to play an extra few minutes, I'm more than happy to throw their toy for them. If they would rather relax and cuddle, I will be more than happy! Whatever they want always comes first.
