Margaret is a very patient and hard working woman! My dog is a rescue and very skittish of strangers. She barely lets anybody put on her harness. By day 2, Margaret was taking her on walks and my dog was playing with her when they got back! So as long as my dog is happy, I’m happy. Margaret is an excellent Rover dog care giver that will exceed needs and wants of your pet standards ❤️

Madison takes the extra step to make sure my anxious girl feels comfortable enough to have a harness put on by a stranger and takes her on a walk to get that energy out! Highly recommend

Wish I had a third hand so I could give her three thumbs up. She took excellent care of my dog. Even my shy cat would come up to her. Would definitely hire again.

About: very much a “cat lady”, but also a big dog lover and new to the dog scene! I have quickly taken a liking to high energy dogs that love to walk! I am familiar with the variability that comes with puppies and have no qualms with necessary clean up or administering medication! I am a student at UNCG and currently ~FUNemployed~ so I do have a bit of free time I’d love to spend taking long walks, or visiting some new furry friends. I do have school twice a week but am otherwise fairly open and flexible. My pets at home are fed, cleaned up after, played with, and snuggled. They love to sleep in bed with us, hang out with us on the couch, and they require a bit of stimulation so we do play quite a bit and have a few trees in our house for them to use. When pet sitting for my brother who has a puppy (Aussie), we like to take long walks to help expel some of that energy and then we hang out, have a snack, and she goes back in her crate for a nap. She enjoys playing brain games so we do a few of those as well but she tires quickly because she’s still young!

Mike is an amazing dog walker, so great with my anxious dog Emma! He’s so patient and kind with her, she now lets him rub her belly - a miracle! I appreciate how thoughtful and considerate he is, even making arrangements for a replacement when he’s on vacation. Really puts my mind at ease knowing I have him to rely on during the day!

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, from hermit crabs to horses. The last 15 years I’ve gone from volunteering with animals to now rescuing and owning 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I’m a resident physician but I’m currently on a research year so my schedule is pretty flexible for home visits or walks- but also for boarding given that I have a very animal friendly environment in my own home. I have a three bedroom, split level house with a large backyard and access to a huge field on the other side of my yard for things like fetch and walks. I have 2 energized and social dogs in my own home who are very friendly, love cuddling and playing fetch. I also have 2 cats who do well around my dogs, one younger one that plays along with them and one older one who is still social but keeps more of a distance from play time.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars because he deserves it. My dog was well cared for and ate his food. Even my normally shy cat liked him, which is a huge testament to him.

About: Hi! I have always loved working with pets. I have owned pets since I was a child and I have dealt with both cats and dogs. I spent time working at a doggy daycare called Ruff Housing and I got to learn further how to take care of a variety of dog types with a variety of personalities. I look forward to getting to spend some time with your pets and giving them all the love when you can't be there! I currently work from home and get to create my own hours so I will have plenty of time to spend time with your pets or make sure I am able to walk them. I enjoy taking some time to go on walks during the day so I would love to include your pet on them! I have a fenced in yard as well as access to a dog park and walking trail. I have two fur babies that love to play and will keep your pup entertained. I can crate dogs as needed! I am willingly to work with any requests to ensure your fur baby has the best time away from home and is safe and cared for in your absence.

About: I have always had a strong love and compassion for animals, especially dogs. I have a small dog myself and have trained him all on my own. I know how much my baby means to me and how I’d want someone to care for him, so I would provide nothing less for your baby! I am an energetic person that gets so happy to earn an animal’s trust. I keep myself educated on pet wellness and am able to assist with anything you or your baby will need! I work full time but am very free all day on weekends and evenings for walks/stays! Since graduating college I am looking to do something to bring me more activity and fulfillment. I love caring for animals so this is a great option for me. I live in a nice neighborhood by myself with a good sized dog park! There’s plenty of room to walk a dog and also have a sweet dog that gets along with others!!

Natalie is great with our pup! She brings her doggies to walk with our little pug (with permission of course) and it’s a big bonus to for her to meet new friends and socialize further. Very flexible, reliable and accommodating! Would definitely recommend Natalie to other pet parents without hesitation.

About: I started taking care of the family dog a few years ago. With him, I administered medication in a positive way and helped train him. I am comfortable using a harness and a regular collar. I also helped train my senior dog on his reactivity with positive reinforcement. Currently, I am on summer break. I work as a teacher during the school year, so my availability for the next few months is open. At my apartment, my roommate’s dog I take out every 2-3 hours and I give him lots of cuddles. I keep an eye out for anything around me to make sure it is safe.
