About: I was that kid who would sit in the middle of a chicken coop to play with my feathery friends. Lol I must say that I connect way easier to animals than I do humans, which is something I take to high regard. You can’t fool an animal..they know who you are the minute they lay eyes on you as they show you who they are with no filters every single day. My family growing up was not too keen on pets so I settled for birds and waited for adulthood to volunteer in shelters and later getting my cat (Olivia) and then 7yrs later, my Pup, Bizzy. I don’t have much experience in administering syringe related but already have a handful of experience administering oral. I work full-time as a college admissions counselor and live 10 mins away from the school. I walk Bizzy every morning at around 7:30 - 8 am then I usually visit home during lunch, then I walk her again after coming home and feeding them dinner. I have a 2 bedroom townhouse with a baby door to use around the house, when needed. Whatever is needed of you furry companion, I will come through or let you know honestly if I can’t.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. My oldest is currently 14 (Archie my beagle/wiener dog mix) and soul pup Winston (bluetick beagle/bloodhound mix who passed in 2020). I miss having dogs of my own but know that I cannot dedicate the funds to getting one of my own just yet. I’d would be so happy to spend time with your pup(s) to give them all the love/snuggles I can! I’m very active so expect lots of walks too. I do currently work full time as a graduate student researcher. My days are very variable though. If sitting your dog, I can plan my experiments around their walks/make sure I am home as long as I can be with them! Weekends are certainly preferred though as I cannot escape my classes Tuesday/Thursday/Friday I have a unit right next to my complex’s dog park, so I can let them out to run and play! I do not have crates or bowls for food/water so those would have to be provided (and food/treats too)!

About: I’m new to Rover, but I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life! I currently have two happy pups of my own who are part of my daily routine. We go on multiple walks each day and spend lots of time playing and relaxing together. I work from home as a pharmacist, so I have a flexible schedule and can give your dog plenty of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. I’m a Cornell student home in NC for the Summer. I work remotely with an internship. About: I have experience with very shy dogs, elderly and young. I’ve run a rescue in Tulsa, OK for 20 and have had many special needs dogs come through my home. I am a quilter and my studio is in the basement of my home. The dogs as a rule are not allowed in the studio, but I am on site all day and typically working between 4-6 hours a day. I spend the rest of the time in the same area as the dogs. If a dog is not feeling well, or is overwhelmed, I often bring them into the studio for one on one time, or I stay upstairs with the dogs, depending on need. I have a securely fenced and fairly large back yard and a dog door. I also have 5 dogs under 10 lbs. who range from elderly to young and playful. The den to which they are contained is also my primary living space, and is filled with dog beds, a soft sofa and blankies as well as toys. If boarding, dogs can sleep in bed with me or in a crate, whichever the client prefers. I can accommodate medications or special diets.

About: very much a “cat lady”, but also a big dog lover and new to the dog scene! I have quickly taken a liking to high energy dogs that love to walk! I am familiar with the variability that comes with puppies and have no qualms with necessary clean up or administering medication! I am a student at UNCG and currently ~FUNemployed~ so I do have a bit of free time I’d love to spend taking long walks, or visiting some new furry friends. I do have school twice a week but am otherwise fairly open and flexible. My pets at home are fed, cleaned up after, played with, and snuggled. They love to sleep in bed with us, hang out with us on the couch, and they require a bit of stimulation so we do play quite a bit and have a few trees in our house for them to use. When pet sitting for my brother who has a puppy (Aussie), we like to take long walks to help expel some of that energy and then we hang out, have a snack, and she goes back in her crate for a nap. She enjoys playing brain games so we do a few of those as well but she tires quickly because she’s still young!

About: I started taking care of the family dog a few years ago. With him, I administered medication in a positive way and helped train him. I am comfortable using a harness and a regular collar. I also helped train my senior dog on his reactivity with positive reinforcement. Currently, I am on summer break. I work as a teacher during the school year, so my availability for the next few months is open. At my apartment, my roommate’s dog I take out every 2-3 hours and I give him lots of cuddles. I keep an eye out for anything around me to make sure it is safe.

“We found the perfect person to watch our Gracie. MARILBEL was accommodating, sweet, and a natural dog lover. Along with her dog, Molly, Maribel gave Gracie a wonderful few days. We had tried our vet's kennel and even the "luxury" pet kennels, but our dog is a "people" dog, and was definitely traumatized by those places, and it took days for her to get back to our normal dog. Putting my dog in a cage for days is NOT what we wanted. But Maribel was our answer. She loved on Gracie, played with her, texted us with pictures, and when we picked her up, she was not traumatized. She was her happy, normal dog self. We are grateful for Maribel and highly recommend her.”

About: I have experience caring for and taking care of dogs of all ages and sizes. I have been a walker and sitter for other services for 4 years prior to joining Rover, and I have had my own dog previously. I have lots of morning, evening, and weekend availability to care for your pups! I am willing to work with your schedule to best fit you and your pup! I follow all guidelines and instructions given by the owner when entering your home. I play with dogs, walk them, and feed them as needed!
“Rachel did great with my shy terrier. She was very flexible about dropoff/pickup times and when she brought him out to me at pickup, he greeted me like it was the end of a regular workday. He even played a little while he was there so it seems like he was safe and happy.”
