I am currently working a few days a week at an animal hospital. I would love to open up my home to some new bestfriends ! Able to accommodate each individual personality. About: I have taken care of every animal there is, from reptiles to dogs, cats, and even just plants! I have been sitting since i was about 15 and i have loved every second of it! I love connecting with the animals and getting to really bond with them. Family and friends have relied on me to help take care of their special friends and I make it a point to deliver! I'm currently a student at Millersville University and I am always looking for ways to fill my schedule! Plus, it is a great way for me to get outside and get active, it's way more fun with a furry friend! I do have a part-time job, but my schedule is really flexible during the day! I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life so I am no stranger to how to care for these animals. I love sensory activities for them like freezing kong balls with peanut butter inside, or even just lick mats! I love to run as well, so getting your dog exercise with me will be no problem.

About: My name is Jennifer Martinez. My love for pets is what caused me to enter the pet sitting world. As far back as I can remember I have always loved and been around animals. I come from a dog loving household and have gained experience by watching the dogs of family and friends. I have studied animal care in college and have hopes to one day become a veterinarian. I plan to also receive my dog training certification in the near future. In me you will find someone that is loving, caring, patient, compassionate, and most of all hardworking. I spent two years working as an equine veterinary assistant, where I gained hands-on experience monitoring animal health, safely handling and restraining animals, recognizing signs of illness or discomfort, and working in fast-paced situations. I also have extensive experience caring for and training my own dogs, including large breeds. I have a lot of time on the weekends to walk dogs but I also have some time in the mornings for a dog or two monday-thursday In your home, I follow your pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and safe. I keep up with feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medication instructions, and lots of love. I always pay attention to their body language and make sure they’re happy, relaxed, and well-cared for while you’re away.

About: Hey fellow dog lovers! A little about me… I am a nurse and absolutely love what I do, but ultimately I just want to hang out with dogs. I work the weekends so I’m available all week long. I have a two year old daughter and a 9 year old mixed breed dog. We will take excellent care of your fur babies. We have a large fenced in back yard with plenty of space inside too. I grew up with three dogs, one golden retriever and two westies, and I adopted our current dog from pet helpers in 2016. I worked for PetStar dog walking company when I first moved to charleston and loved it, but then began pursuing my nursing career. During the week we like to go on adventures but we are also happy hanging out at home. We have almost half an acre that’s fenced in. We also have a screened in porch with a fan and a large loveseat that out dog uses more than we do. If I leave the house I more often than not bring copper with us. We go to the parks, Home Depot, the fields, the beach, you name it (if dogs are allowed we go together)

They are 6 and 1 year, and require a lot of my attention. I create a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to play, rest, and feel secure. I follow my dogs' usual routine as closely as possible—feeding times, walks, play, and quiet time—to minimize stress. I also make sure they have access to fresh water, cozy resting spots, and lots of affection. If a pet has special needs or preferences, I’m happy to accommodate them. In your home, I treat your home with respect and your pet like family. I stick to their established routine, including feeding, walking, playtime, and any medications or special care. I’m attentive to their behavior and comfort, and I always make sure they feel safe and loved in their familiar surroundings. About: I have had dogs my entire life and every single one of them has had a piece of my heart! I presently have two senior dogs and one three-year old, who probably feels as passionately about dogs as I do! I have also lived with, loved, and taken care of several cats over the last 13 years. Growing up, I was responsible for taking care of my family’s lizards and frogs. I presently am able to control my own schedule and can make myself available for any last-minute or unexpected pet care needs that you may have. Currently, my only blocked off time for certain is Wednesdays from 5:30pm-9:30pm In my home, I have a fenced in yard to ensure that outside time is safe and fun. If you do not have a fenced in space but are still looking for your pup to have some outdoor time, I always ensure a leash is used to keep them safe. I have successfully used components of behavior analysis to build trust and confidence in my own dogs, while also ensuring that I understand their own behavioral cues to prevent stress in new or different situations. This includes shaping behaviors, frequent reinforcement, and pairing with new dogs to demonstrate that I am a safe person in their environment. Should transportation ever need to occur, I have a seat belt that clips to any standard harness as well as a seat cover that prevents climbing over the center console. I have a number of 6-foot leashes as well as 2 30-foot leashes to allow for safe running in open spaces, and an expandable 10-foot leash.

About: Along with being the go-to petsitter and dog walker for my neighbors, friends, and family, I have professional pet care experience through Gochenauer Pet Resort as a kennel attendant, dog walker, and playtime supervisor. I have learned through both experience and training courses such as Dog Handler Academy. I work evenings, so morning and daytime pet care is ideal for me. The more time I spend around animals, the happier I am, so I am hoping to fill as much free time as possible with pet time. I am unable to use my home to house pets (as my own cat is uncomfortable with other animals) but I am happy to come to your house and meet your pets where they are.

About: Hi! I grew up on a farm and have taken care of a variety of animals since I was small. In addition to cat and dog sitting, I have taken care of other people's horses, cows, and hogs. I love taking long walks and would love to care for your four legged friends! Right now, overnight house and pet sitting is the best fit. I'm a theatre artist and have some shows lined up for the fall. I would also be able to do mid-day walks. Unfortunately, because I share with several room-mates, I would have to care for your pet in your home. However, I am responsible and detail oriented, and would take good care of your space while I'm there.
