About: Hi! I grew up on a farm and have taken care of a variety of animals since I was small. In addition to cat and dog sitting, I have taken care of other people's horses, cows, and hogs. I love taking long walks and would love to care for your four legged friends! Right now, overnight house and pet sitting is the best fit. I'm a theatre artist and have some shows lined up for the fall. I would also be able to do mid-day walks. Unfortunately, because I share with several room-mates, I would have to care for your pet in your home. However, I am responsible and detail oriented, and would take good care of your space while I'm there.
“Sydney did a great job visiting my cats twice daily during my vacation. She even learned to give Big Boi Peter his insulin shot! She is real cat lover too, and could not be more perfect to leave your fur babies with.”

About: I've taken care of dogs for over a decade from high energy (I have a border collie) to low energy (I also have a shih tzu), elderly, and everything in between. I'd love to make your dog's day by taking them on a walk or giving them an incredible play time. Same goes for your cats! Whether your pets love activity or simply want someone to watch them sniff in the backyard or hang on the couch, I'd love to bring a highlight to their day. Right now, Friday nights through Sunday are the times I have completely free to dedicate to helping take care of your pets. I'm hoping to add more times soon and options to board. As someone who searches for hours to find the right person to watch my pets, I know how hard it can be to trust someone new to take care of your fur family. Whether it's pictures, reassuring texts, following your instructions exactly, or all 3 I will do my best to make your pets as happy and healthy as possible. I offer drop in visits and walks, so please let me know what you are and aren't comfortable with and I will make sure they are well cared for while giving you as many updates as you'd like!
“They were wonderful! Loved having them spend time with my little pack of dogs. If we weren't going to be moving out of their area of service. I would continue to hire them. 10 out of 10!”

About: I've always loved animals and am fascinated with their care. I have trained my own German Shepherd Husky as well as dog-sitted for a variety of restricted breeds. I am currently attending college classes in the mornings so I can perform tasks before class and the full day after. I also drive for Uber Eats so I balance both positions. I will ask lots of questions about your typical care of your pet prior to taking on the animal to ensure their routine remains the same. I am slow in introducing myself to animals, by letting them sniff and be comfortable before engaging.
“If I could leave 10 stars, I would. Lexi was fantastic. I usually worry about my pups while I'm away. This time I was actually able to relax. She was very attentive and my pups love her. She sent pictures, which was very calming to me being away. I would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I have owned dogs my whole life! I have taken care of puppies and dog sat for many years. I have experience working in a pet store / grooming salon. I have lots of free time at the moment, in between work and school for the month of August, so plenty of time and attention to give to your pets! I am patient and understanding. I try to encourage the pets and show them trust and love. I have range from calm to energetic, depending on the animal!
“Isak was great! He agreed to check on Darin with short notice, and communicated quickly. He followed instructions, treated our home with care and from the pictures he sent, it looks like Darin had a blast with him! ☺️”

About: I’ve taken care of childhood dogs since I was 12. I have been responsible for feeding, walking, and playing with all sorts of animals growing up. I would be able to care for pets during the weekends and after 430pm weekdays. It is a great way not only to bond with animals but also get my daily exercise in. In a clients home, I would be able to feed the dog, play with it, and take it on walks like it was my own animal. For walking, I would make sure they enjoyed themselves, and add some play time in as well to make it more rewarding for the animal.
About: Reliable care when you can't be there ! Available from puppy to senior dogs of any size. A safe & enjoyable vacation for everyone even special needs pets! I am currently working a few days a week at an animal hospital. I would love to open up my home to some new bestfriends ! Able to accommodate each individual personality. Weither it's lounging around inside or going on a trail by the river, to playing in the backyard .
“We were so thankful that Rachel was able to check in on our cats during our vacation. Rachel responded quickly to the request. During the meet and greet she asked great questions so she could learn more about our cats. When she cared for them she was attentive to their needs, checked the litter box and even brought in a package:)”

“We’re so grateful for Austin and his patience, care, and attention to detail for our dog. He went above and beyond to make sure our dog was comfortable, watered, pottied, and loved. We’ll be booking him again!”

About: Animals have been part of my life since I was 7 years old, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve loved and cared for 3 cats and 6 dogs of my own, giving me experience with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I began pet sitting at 16 and later expanded my experience into animal shelter and rescue work at 23, where I learned the importance of patience, trust, and compassionate care for every animal. At home, I have a sweet corgi named Sgt. Tibbs who is truly the light of my life. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets, because I would want the very same for him. My goal is always to make your pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away with plenty of attention, affection, and tail wags included! I currently work full time in Reading, but outside of work hours your pets will always be my top priority during their stay and care. I’m available during both weekdays and weekends, and I make it a point to give every pet plenty of love, attention, playtime, and comfort while their owners are away. I understand how important consistency, communication, and trust are when leaving your pets with someone, and I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for every step of the way. I believe in putting your pet’s comfort, trust, and well-being first. For that reason, I offer care in your home only, where your pets feel the safest and most comfortable. Staying in their familiar environment helps keep their routine consistent, reduces stress and anxiety, and allows them to receive loving care while still feeling at home.
About: I've been around cats and dogs my entire life and have always had a passion for caring for animals. I volunteered at a cat shelter for several years, where I gained experience caring for cats with different personalities and needs. I also have two cats and a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I truly enjoy spending my free time helping fellow pet owners by providing reliable, loving care. Whether it's a walk, a drop-in visit, or simply giving your pet extra attention while you're away, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family. I'm happy to work with your pet's unique routine and needs. Whether they love long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or extra patience, I'll provide personalized care to help them feel comfortable and safe while you're away. My goal is to make sure your pet is happy, well cared for, and treated like family every step of the way. I know pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, so I do my best to keep things as consistent as possible. I'll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks. I'll also give your pet plenty of attention, affection, and companionship while you're away. You'll receive regular photo and message updates so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
