About: I am a full time resident of Idyllwild with a 1/4 acre fenced backyard and access through our property to the Ernie Maxwell Scenic Trail. Some visitors to Idyllwild don't bring their canine companions on vacation to the area because they are unfamiliar with the wildlife and rural mountain surroundings. I offer a safe alternative to leaving beloved pets at home, crated or alone in a motel or cabin while visiting the area. We have access to a fenced 2.5 acre private estate (a.k.a. doggie playground) in which we let our canine guests romp with my girl Beezie, and her pup Nella! Car rides, creek walks, walkabouts in town and on the Scenic Trail are options for daily activities. I will customize the visit to meet your requests. A prior Meet-n-Greet play date assures a positive doggie vacay for all of the pups. Only one canine family at a time is hosted. You are assured that your best friend is getting abundant attention and joyful exercise. We can't wait to welcome you to the mountain! I find 4 legged creatures to be the best company and enjoy interspecies relationships. Always honest and real... The more people I meet, the more I love all hounds and felines! Even the persnickety ones. At this time, due to my eldest hounds vulnerability, I am not hosting Rover guests in my home. However, I will be reinstating the boarding/daycare option in the future. I will care for your beloved animals with the same consideration. Thank you.

Adam was able to accept a last minute overnight job which was a vacation-saver. He is the best dog sitter! He took Arnie on very long walks, followed all my instructions to a tee and was communicative with texts and pictures. He will be my go-to Rover sitter from now on!

In a sea of over priced sitters, we found a hidden gem. Not only was she reasonably priced, her personality fit right in with ours and it felt like we had known her for a long time, even though we had just met. We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter! Melinda treated our fur babies like family, sending regular updates with adorable photos. Melinda was also incredibly responsible with our home, leaving everything exactly as she found it. We felt completely at ease knowing Melinda was taking care of everything while we were away, and will definitely be booking her again for our next trip!

This was the second time we asked Renee to watch our Aussie shepherd, Oliver, while we were on vacation outside the country. He loves her and Renee really takes care of Oliver as we would. Before we even book a vacation, we check Renee's schedule and make sure she is available. We were really confident during our vacation that Oliver was receiving spa treatment at home and loving every second of it. We have known Renee for the last couple of years and we consider her a good friend. We trust her with our home and Oliver. Renee takes lots of photos and videos, so we get plenty of updates and feedback on the hour to hour activities of Oliver. We highly recommend Renee. She is the best.

About: I have grown up around dogs and cats my whole life. I started watching my family friend’s and mutual’s furbabies and I love it! I’ve been caring for pets other than my own for about 3 years now. I am not working a job at the time so I am pretty open as long as I have some time in advance to clear! I feel very comfortable in going in to other people’s houses while respecting their space and caring for the animals according to their schedules. I have done this for several people before!

About: I've cared for dogs of all ages (horses too!) since I was a kid. My dogs are seniors so I understand their particular needs well. I'm currently freelancing from home part-time and will have plenty of time to care for and play with your pets. Walks are part of boarding, of course. I have a fenced yard and two friendly, calm dogs to keep your pets company. I give my dogs homemade organic treats and will adhere to all rules you have about play, treats, walks, etc.

About: Ever since I can remember, myself as well as my family have loved and enjoyed dogs and they have always been a part of our family. I got my first puppy when I was 12 years old. She was a rescue and I had her until I was 26 years old. Her name was Molly. We had many other dogs during that time. My sister's and I were who cared for them all. Although this is my first time running a business caring for dogs, I have taken care of dogs most of my life. Some people call themselves a "people person". I call myself a "dog person". I have always had a natural ability to connect with dogs. Dogs have always loved being with me. I care for them as if they were a child of mine. As I always have said, the more I get to know people; the more I love dogs! I'm currently a student at home so, I am available to give your pet my undivided attention. I treat all animals as if they are my own, like family. I love to spend quality time with animals. I also have good hygiene. I believe this is important because we all know how dirty animals can be. I am gentle and loving.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for many years through family, friends, and neighbors, and I’m very comfortable handling daily routines like feeding, walking, medication, and overnight care. I pay close attention to each pet’s habits and comfort level. I’m reliable, communicative, and respectful of both pets and people’s spaces. Pet care fits well into my routine, and I’m able to be present and attentive when I take on a booking. I structure my schedule so I can maintain pets’ normal routines, including meals, walks, playtime, and quiet time. For house sitting and drop-in visits, I prioritize reliability, clear communication, and consistency so both pets and owners feel at ease. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow established routines closely and make safety, consistency, and clear communication a priority. For pets staying with me, I maintain a calm, structured environment and only accept dogs that are a good fit for the space and setting. I’m attentive to individual needs, respectful of boundaries, and always prioritize a pet’s comfort and well-being.
