“Karina did an amazing job taking care of our pups. She kept us informed about how their day went and how they were doing. She also made sure to send us pictures of them every day. If we had any questions she was just a message away. Would definitely recommend.”

“My cat was afraid of a stranger at first but Julie managed to win him over. It made a huge difference knowing he was taken care of and stopped being afraid. Julie even sent a video of him. She went above and beyond and Teddy and I are both grateful.”

“April was amazing at taking care of our pups. We had her come visit before we took our trip to meet the dogs. We arranged for her to come each evening to feed and check on them. And she was willing to help with some medications for some unexpected medical needs that both pups had. April came and spent time with the dogs, not just a quick check in, and that gave us great comfort knowing she truly cared for them ☺️”

“Rhondee was great, prompt, and responsive! Medicine had to be administered for my senior dog so needed someone I felt I can trust. Rhondee scheduled for a meet n greet as this is my first time which made me feel comfy”

“Thank you Anthony for always being so available and prompt with your response to our requests. But most importantly, Anthony is a reliable and caring furbaby friend! He sends us pictures that makes us feel so comfortable that our babies are loved on. They enjoy your visits and we feel confident that they are safe in your hands.”

“Evelyn accepted our not so usual request to do drop-in visits for our pet goat Milo. She was attentive, timely and followed all our requests! She gave Milo lots of love while we were away! We will definitely be using Evelyn again!”

“Our pup is very particular about who he likes and interacts with. After just meeting Laura once they were close buds. Usually when we are out of town he doesnt eat well bc he is nervous. But with Laura caring for him, he ate every meal! We will definitely be using her again..and again!!!”

About: Hello 👋🏻 My name is Kaylee and I’ve been a professional pet sitter for about 5 years now. Over the course of those 5 years I’ve cared for all of the following animals: dogs, cats, birds, fish, snakes, turtles, lizards, hamsters, rabbits and horses. I’m in college getting an animal science degree and I’ve worked with a wide age range of animals. From puppies all the way to senior dogs and kittens all the way to elderly cats. *please know that while my listed prices are accurate additional surcharges may apply. (All prices will be disclosed before booking) I have a lot of availability for pet care in my schedule, I do have college classes I must attend and the occasional appointment with these being non-negotiable blocks of time I must leave the clients home to attend (which will be discussed ahead of time). However aside from that I have a plethora of time available to dedicate solely to your pet(s). *jobs that are “constant care” and/or have strict rules regarding how long the pet(s) can be left alone WILL incur a surge charge. I haven’t had a pet escape or get lost on my watch yet, and I don’t plan to start now. My childhood dog escaped once as kid, and even thought he was quickly found, it made me realize the horror of potentially losing a pet. As a result, I take pet safety very seriously. I will not walk a dog without a leash. I always double and triple check that doors are closed/locked (when appropriate).
“Shayna was amazing! She was kind, communicative, and always kept me updated with messages and photos. My pets absolutely loved her, and she went above and beyond by giving them extra playtime and attention. I felt at ease knowing they were in great hands. Highly recommend Shayna 🩷”

“Bobby was fantastic! He completed a drop-in visit for our dog and went above and beyond our expectations. Even though we only booked a 30 minute visit, he spent extra time playing with her to make sure she got plenty of attention and exercise. He also made sure she was fed and that her water bowl was full before leaving. It gave us great peace of mind knowing she was so well cared for while we were away. Bobby was reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals. We will absolutely book him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
