“Rylee is super sweet with my old girl! She always send me updates, is very responsive, and goes the extra mile to make sure my pup gets the care she needs. If you are looking for some help with your furry friends, I highly recommend.”

“Maddie was a wonderful dog sitter for us! She was able to accept our booking last-minute when our usual sitter wasn't available for a trip. Our dog immediately liked her and I could tell he didn't miss us when we were gone! She was very thoughtful with our 2 cats too even though we only booked her for the dog, and very respectful of our home as well. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Madeline- definitely worth booking for your pet!”

“I’m so glad I found Jorie to help take care of our baby Willow while we were away. She always arrived promptly on time, gave our pup the very best love and attention, offered to take her to the park for us, and sent us lots of pictures with a detailed description of their day together. It put us at ease knowing our girl was in good hands. Can’t say enough good things. You will not regret booking with her! We will absolutely be using her again in the future :)”
“Brittney did a wonderful job taking care of our cat, Ziggy. Brittney communicated well, with pictures and updates about Ziggy and our house (there were bad storms while we were away). Ziggy got lots of love, playtime, a clean litter box, and was well-fed everyday.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 13 years old and have always had a deep love for animals. Over the years, I’ve helped rescue and care for many pups, giving them a safe, loving, and happy environment. Since high school, I’ve also provided trusted house sitting and pet care for families in my neighborhood, gaining experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, personalities, and routines. I currently have two large dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling bigger breeds, high-energy pups, feeding schedules, long walks, playtime, and maintaining consistent routines. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away, and I always treat every dog like family. I’m dependable, attentive, patient, and highly communicative, and I make it a priority to keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind. Whether it’s dog walking, overnight house sitting, administering basic care, or providing companionship and attention, I’m committed to making sure your pets feel loved, exercised, and stress-free in your absence. I am currently home from college for the summer and have plenty of free time during my day to take care of your pups! I am available to walk your doggo anytime during the day and want to make this process stress-free. If there is a time that your pup does better walking, I want to make that possible for you. For dog walking and pet sitting, I focus on creating a safe, fun, and comfortable experience for every pet. During walks, I make sure dogs get the exercise, attention, and stimulation they need while also prioritizing safety and positive behavior. I’m comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels, including larger breeds, since I have two large dogs of my own. For pet sitting, I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I make sure pets feel comfortable, loved, and relaxed while their owners are away by giving them plenty of companionship and attention. I’m dependable, patient, and highly attentive to each dog’s individual needs and personality. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.

“Tori made sure our dog got plenty of attention and playtime even with the rain, which really showed how much she cared about making sure he was happy and well cared for. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring hands. We truly appreciated her reliability, kindness, and the extra effort she put in. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet like family!”

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life including small to large dogs. I am not a professional trainer but I have experience in training my own fur babies. My work is flexible where I can drop in for visits, take them out walking or just spend time playing with them. I can also board them, so that you can have a stress free vacation. They will have a fenced yard to play in and two buddies to play with. I will send lots of pictures and updates. To ensure safety, please have all vaccinations up to date and send me a copy, if possible. I also like to schedule a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure both parties are comfortable with the booking. It will also be an opportunity to address any concerns. I work full time but have the flexibility to work remotely. If your fur baby needs someone to be home all the time, I can accommodate that. I have a fenced yard. I have a 3 year old beagle mix and a 1 year old beagle. They are both very friendly and wants to make friends. I like to take them for walks and they get plenty of outdoor time and frequent potty breaks. We have a 4 month old baby, so I would prefer if your pets are good with kids.
“Couldn’t have asked for better! She was reliable, communicated great, and was very thoughtful and thorough. She handled everything we asked of, and more. She truly went above and beyond and we are so grateful for the peace of mind she brought us while we were on vacation and worried about our cats :)”

“Megan took care of our two cats and our fish while we were away for two weeks. She stayed in communication with us about anything that was happening at the house and even went out of her way to take care of a malfunctioning alarm at the house. I loved having her here to watch over things and will definitely choose her and her family again in the future!”
“Holli was absolutely amazing with Jasper! So amazing, in fact, that Jasper came out to greet her, which he doesn't even do with me half the time! I would 100% recommend Holli to care for your pet. She put my mind at ease every day with pictures and updates. Thank you, Holli!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for well over 4 years and have had the pleasure of watching some of the sweetest pups. I’ve dealt with dogs on a schedule, some who require medication and those who need some extra snuggles. I will take the time to learn the care your pet deserves. I work a full time job during the weeks but will ensure all pets are taken out before I leave and return as soon as possible to allow them to be taken out again, I spend my afternoons with the dogs and try to provide enrichment play so they don’t get bored. I’m available all day on weekends so the same things goes. I normally stay with at a clients home to ensure dogs have minimal stress dealing with new environments. I follow any schedule my client has given me, from early morning walks at a dog park or allowing them to roam their fenced in yard while I prepare any food or water that is left while I’m away. I enjoy playing with them in the afternoons and getting them tired and rewarding them with treats when necessary.
About: My animal experience goes way back to childhood. At the age of 7 I started in 4h, learning about animal husbandry. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at the local riding stables. By high school, I was working at the local animal shelter, volunteering with local rescues and advancing my education in dog training, with hopes of getting into service dogs. At age 19 I started working at a vet clinic This just advanced my love of animals and their care even more! Fast forward to today, and I own my own in home grooming salon ❤️ I have continued to volunteer with the local rescues and shelter every chance I get. 2 years ago I was blessed with the opportunity to become a puppy raiser for a veteran service dog foundation. That was the very best experience i could of asked for! My knowledge of dogs extends into training, grooming and care. I'm knowledgeable with cats and other small animals as well! Coming from a farm and vet background, I have experience with just about every animal including exotics. My personal dogs are all very well socialized with other animals of all kinds. They all have extensive training and are completely safe with others. They know just how to make our new guest feel right at home! All my boarder dogs are treated as family, allowed on beds and furniture and cage free unless otherwise requested. Bath or grooming add ons are always available! All baths/ grooms come complete with a cute Pic! Please feel free to reach out with any questions ❤️ I work from home in my at home grooming salon, so your pet will never be alone. Should I need to leave the house for small errands, there is still someone left at home, or the animal will have a safe enclosed room to themselves. My Backyard is attached to the house and fully enclosed with a large wooden privacy fence. Pets are never left outside unattended and are kept in my view at all times.
“Amber was once again amazing with my kitties. I came back to happy healthy well-fed kitties, and she made sure to keep me updated with pics and little blurbs about how the visits went. She also went above and beyond as always. 10/10 would book again.”

About: I have been a proud owner of dogs for over ten years. I have taken care of friends and family dogs throughout those years as well. I currently have two small Yorkies and one yorkie mix that only know love in my household! I will treat your pet just like a member of my family and will ensure they know nothing but love in my house! You can trust that I will cherish your pet and ensure I make you feel comfortable and up-to-date while they are in my care. I love to take dogs on long walks, dog parks and I have a big backyard for them to run around in as well. I like to spend quality time and play with your pet while they are in my care. I have open weekends to aid others with watching their pets. I have flexibility to assist with walking or caring for all of your dogs needs. With my three dogs, we are currently working on obedience training to further enhance their skills. I ensure that they have a healthy and safe environment to coexist as well as learn ways to respect each other spaces as well as the home they live in. I love on them individually to have that one on one time and play with all of them together as well. I would do the same for any dog under my care.
About: I grew up in an animal-friendly household among big dogs, small dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, lizards, ferrets, you name it! I have experience with animals of all ages, abilities, and temperaments and strive to do what I can to keep them happy and comfortable! I am a full time college student pursuing music, so I will have the occasional concert that makes me unavailable, but I often have the weekend free or evenings/nights/early mornings. I definitely strive to leave everything in a client’s home just as I left it, besides a happy and/or well-fed dog, cat, or other furry or scaly creature. As long as I know where to locate the food, bowls, leash/harness, and/or backyard I’m good!
About: I’ve grown up in a home full of dogs and have been caring for them for as long as I can remember. Today, I have a sweet female Goldendoodle of my own named Murray, who’s a big part of my life. I also have experience with cat sitting for family and friends. I’m that girl who stops to help a lost pup or cat and won’t rest until I’ve reunited them with their owner. Animals have always had a special place in my heart, and I treat every pet like they’re family. My job allows me to work from home so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup! I can be available as needed to care for your pet. I care for pets with the same love and attention I give my own. Whether they’re staying in my home or I’m visiting them in theirs, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and happy. I follow any specific routines or instructions you provide—whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, walks, or playtime—because I know how important consistency is for pets. I also make sure to give them plenty of affection and companionship so they feel secure while you’re away.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
