About: I have 3 golden retrievers and rescued 2 cats. I've spent the last 6 years caring for my own animals and helping friends, family, and neighbors with theirs. I've learned how important it is to have someone trustworthy looking after your pet. I enjoy spending time outdoors, going on walks, and giving the attention and care they deserve. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, secure, and loved while in my care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m able to be flexible and at home majority of the time. I schedule my days to ensure pets receive consistent attention, exercise, feeding, playtime, and companionship. We are household full of animals, always. When pets stay in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where they can feel relaxed and cared for. I follow each pet's regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any special care instructions. For dogs we have a fenced in backyard with space to run around. A crate must be provided for overnight stays for dogs. For cats, they can roam freely. I have clean litter boxes, and opportunities for play and enrichment.

About: I've loved cats since before I could even talk or walk. I've never been without one in my life and thought I wanted to be a veterinarian until I realized euthanasia was part of it. I'm very experienced in just about anything you can throw at me when it comes to cats, having gone through so many medical conditions with my own. I've handled so many feral cats in my life, whether at home or at the vet, and I'm completely comfortable with any cat, no matter how moody. There's a photo in my gallery of me & my special needs boy, Fennie, when I drove to Chicago and met him for the first time & brought him home. That was the first time I held him & clearly the hissing didn't phase me at all. I'm a pro at giving meds! I give my Fennie six pills twice daily. Needless to say, I've been bitten more times than I can count! He's a "wobbly boy" so it's a bit like playing a game of Mr. Mouth, if you've ever played that old school game, lol. We have to puree his food & steady him to drink it. He is always on washable pee pads and gets multiple baths most days. So I'm able to handle just about anything. Moody kitties don't scare me, I've been scratched and bitten more times in my life than I could ever count. I love all cats, and I know they all have their own personality! I'm well prepared and very patient, as it takes anther level of patience when you have outdoor feral cats, which we do. It's always worth the wait whether it takes two weeks or two years to gain their trust and affection. I'll be the same with your babies and always give them love whether it's through words, cuddles, or both. I know how hard it would be to entrust someone you don't know with your babies, but you can rest easy knowing that they're in the hands of someone with great love and respect for all cats! I work full-time as the Business Office Manager of a joint replacement surgery center in Jeffersonville, IN. I live in Shepherdsville, KY and am available to come by your home every day after work and anytime on weekends. I'm also able to host them at our home which is set up like a duplex since my sister, husband, and I built together. She is currently living in Georgia so we are able to utilize her side of the house for any baby that needs more attention and you wish to stay with us. My husband works from home so he is home all day with our babies & I'm home all day all weekend. I am able to be flexible with my work schedule and I'm happy to do my best to accommodate any needs or requests you may have. I can keep your babies here in our home or they can stay comfortable in yours. I want what's best for them & what stresses them the least. Exceeded expectations! We were very anxious leaving our cat for 13 full days as she is an indoor/outdoor cat and so many “bad” things could have happened.
