About: I've always loved dogs! As a dog-owner myself, I know the stress of leaving a pet at home, both during the workday and when on vacation, but also what it's like to have the peace of mind that comes with a trustworthy pet sitter. I love giving pet parents that security of knowing their baby is happy and safe while they're away. I have cared for dogs ranging from the puppy stage to senior years. I have experience providing medical care to dogs ranging from post-surgical care such as monitoring for adverse reactions to anesthesia, to facilitating recovery from ACL repair surgery by providing heat/ice to the affected leg and following surgeon's orders for increasing walk length on a variety of terrains to help the dog regain muscle strength. Most recently, I have cared for a senior dog who was partially deaf and had arthritis. That experience taught me to intentionally stay in his eyesight, and to tailor the pace and length of walks and playtime to meet his gait and energy level. My full-time work allows me to be available on a variety of weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Depending on the day, I am either very flexible and can come whenever your pup needs me, or am more limited with evening-only availability. So just ask! I only walk dogs in an escape-proof device such as a Martindale or chain ("choke") collar. I will not walk a dog in a flat collar or harness, even if the device is advertised as 'escape proof' or the dog does not have a history of escaping. This is for my peace of mind as well as yours, and for the safety of your fur baby. In addition, when I am walking your dogs, they are my first priority. I am not on my phone so I can pay attention to my surroundings and the dogs in order to maximize safety for both of us. Finally, to make my time with your fur baby as positive as possible, I require a meet and greet with you and your pet before coming to care for them by myself.

About: I've had dogs since I was a kid and have helped train and raise large breeds and giant breeds. I have experience caring for blind dogs and elderly, medically-sensitive dogs. Although I don't have a dog right now (I have two cats), I'd love to care for your dog as if they were my own! I currently work part time, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets Sundays, Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays. I am typically more limited on Thursdays, Fridays and most Saturdays, but I will make your pets a priority. Just let me know what you need! I enjoy playing with pets before providing their meals, as a vital part of their routine. In my own home, I currently have two cats and a small backyard. I can crate your pet, if needed, or provide a small room for their own space and privacy. I can also provide walks or other activities upon request, like short training exercises or practicing words they already know.

About: I have been in the pet-sitting scene for 3 years now! Started with friends and family, then branched out from there! I've learned how to care for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and my favorite type of pet: rodents (Guinea Pigs are the Best!). Taken care of older pets that need medications and careful care, as well as young and energetic pets that need some more playtime and enrichment! I believe one of the most important skills to have to be a great pet sitter is proper and clear communication with the owners. I communicate how often an owner would want! I would communicate with videos and pictures of your pet's adventures, or communicate any concerns if any arise. I want to make sure that while you're away, you can rest easy knowing your pet is safe and happy! :) I do work part-time as of right now, typically working 15-25 hours a week. I mostly work morning shifts from 10:30-5:00, but usually leave an hour early. If you need me to stay most of the day, please let me know at least a month in advance; I would happily take off work! There are a few things I would like to know about your furry little friend: 1. How often do they need to go out? 2. How much enrichment do they need? 3. Do they take any medication? 4. Do they have any triggers I should be concerned about? 5. Do they have a good understanding of commands? (It's ok if not :3) 6. How long can they be left alone? Please inform me of anything I need to know. I want to make sure your baby/babies are taken care of! I can't wait to meet some new friends! I'm currently working a part-time job typically working 15-25 hours a week. I usually work morning shifts ranging from 10:30-5 or 11:00-5:00, but sometimes get off an hour early depending on the day. If I need to stay for the majority of the job, please let me know at least a month in advance; I will gladly ask off! I have also been around dogs my whole life with my own and know how to properly take care of all ages. I know leaving your furry friend can be stressful so my goal is to help you leave some stress behind and know your pup is in loving and caring hands! About: I had the best childhood dog growing up. We loved walks, playing fetch, just hanging out. My passion and love for dogs has helped me become the designated office house sitter. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
