Shelby has taken care of my big baby a few times and always does a fantastic job.

Shelby takes amazing care of my dog. He follows care instructions as outlined and communicates appropriately. He takes great pictures too.

We were so pleased with the level of service and care we received from Shelby! We needed a dog sitter to travel for Christmas and it was going to be our first time away from our 1.5 year old puppy, and we wanted our dog to be able to stay in his space and not have to board him. I wasn't able to start looking for a sitter until almost 2 weeks before christmas and not only was Shelby very responsive and courteous, but also very accommodating! Before we even booked him, he was transparent about his schedule and the level of care he could provide throughout the week. We were anxious about leaving him with someone else for the first time, and we worried that his training would regress or that the change in his routine would cause behavioral issues. Shelby was super responsive and was able to come by our house prior to our trip to meet our dog, Faf, and be shown around the house. Shelby was very kind and pleasant to interact with and immediately got along with Faf. Once it was time for our trip, he let us know when he was at the house and would send daily updates and photos each time he spent time with Faf. We warned Shelby that Faf might get stressed the first couple of days and vomit, and Shelby even sent me a text to let me know he found vomit in the dog's kennel and had taken his blanket out to wash it. When we came home, Shelby had left a super sweet "Welcome home" message for us in the kitchen and had even left us something thoughtful he thought we would like as a gift for us on the counter. The house was clean, locked up, and everything was as we left it! Not only did we not experience a lapse in Faf's training or behavior, but he was clearly very gappy when we got home and even better behaved and a better listener than when we left. My husband even wanted to ask Shelby what he did to produce such great behavior 😂 Overall, we absolutely will book Shelby again in the future! He is a great listener, follows directions well, is very respectful, and provides excellent communication, service, and level of care. He went above and beyond our expectations and highly recommend him!

Shelby treats every animal he comes in contact with as his own and is able to ease their anxieties about their family being away. Shelby has taken care of my cats on numerous occasions, and keeps them busy so they are less likely to get into trouble. He is active and engaged with the pet he is watching which makes me happy, as pets have very little interaction while their family is gone. I have referred him to several friends who have since continued to use his services. He has purchased high quality toys and treats to share with the pet he is caring for. I always feel confident and at ease when Shelby is tending to my pets while I’m away.
