“As the quintessential obsessive “dog mom”, with no human children, I’m incredibly picky about who cares for my three small toy sized doggies. The first time Elizabeth came over for a meet and greet with my two ultra sensitive, former hoarder house toy poodles, they immediately climbed into her lap to look for cuddles and safety- I was shocked! This was within the first 3 weeks of adopting them, and they weren’t even that interested in me yet! I knew she would be my go to dog sitter from then on, since her calm loving energy just absolutely radiates and connects with all 3 of my pups. Elizabeth has been my dog sitter for about 4 years now, and we couldn’t be luckier to have her in our lives. My dogs look forward to when she comes over/ stays over, and I know I have trusted and caring person treating my dogs as if they were her own. Their routines aren’t interrupted so they’re happy and comfortable, and I’m happy since I don’t have to stress when I’m out of town. She is also very flexible, even on short notice, and often stops by to take care of my pups at lunch and for a few hours in the evening if I’m stuck at work longer than expected. With Elizabeth, I know my dogs can expect consistency, affection, a good walk, lots of fetch and tug, and she’s even taught them some better manners than what I’ve been able to manage.
