From her daily updates, it was clear she took the time to understand Roo’s unique personality and little quirks — something that meant so much to me. Rooster can struggle with separation anxiety, and this was our first Rover experience where, when I arrived to pick her up, she happily greeted me and then immediately went back to playing instead of making a beeline for the car to go home. That alone speaks volumes about how safe, comfortable, and loved she felt in Kimberely's care. Her home is also clean, cozy, and perfectly set up for dogs, with a fenced-in backyard that gives them plenty of space to play and relax. I can’t recommend Kimberely highly enough. Sara was even able to see and get a photo of my super scared cat (Odie) that no ever sees, that just doesn't happen. We asked Sara to stay for an hour to love on them so they would not feel so abandoned. She did just that and we have pictures showing how our needy/affectionate cat (Loki) just crawled all over her. The area around the food and water bowl was left clean and tidy. The liter box was cleaned regularly. Thank you for attention to detail. About: Hi there! My name is Bri and through the years I have cared for a wide variety of dogs - family pets, fosters, medically fragile/complex, puppies, extremely timid, and senior. I took my grandma's 10-year-old dog in and cared for her until she passed at 18-and-a-half years old. I also fostered a mama and her six puppies (all had ringworm) that were each adopted out to amazing families and then I adopted the mom (Layla) who is still with me today! About: We have watched many pets over the years and are finally bringing our love to the masses. :) We truly love all animals (every where we have lived animals indoor/outdoor just flock to us it seems ha). We give them the care they deserve and treat every last one as if it were our own personal pet. We have also had several pets through the years that needed medical attention daily (generally giving medication) and understand the importance of maintaining medicine/medical care in a very timely manner. If you are looking for the best care for your pet, look no further this family of pet lovers is where its at. We took a little time off to focus on some other things but we are back at it and ready to love and care for your pet better than anyone on this app 😀♥️ (we might be biased). I work from home full time so I am here almost 24 hrs/day to care for your lovely pet. On the weekends we come and go for short periods of time but generally we are home 80% of the weekend at least. There has been a stream of pets in my family. Including so so so many cats in NYC. Even going so far as to “rescue” a half feral one. Currently, I share ownership of a dog. As a small business owner of over 10 years, I am able to have a flexible schedule and spend more time hanging out with your pet(s). That said, I have a lot of experience managing other people, and I do have high expectations for clear communication from clients. I have never had a complaint from clients that already have human children. I am very clear about the kind of care I offer. For example, I clearly state I can do 4-8 hrs for letting out. That does not mean that when I get to the sit, you tell me you expect every hour. I also do not cancel other bookings so that you can be the sole client. Let’s try to be better and more human, than conforming to private equity and their bottom line. For the fur babies, I can follow their diet and pet or play or brush their hair. As long as you give me a list or schedule, I'll do my best to provide it. I have extensive experience with pets at all stages of life. (As well as other kinds of pets which I am open to caring for.) I understand the care required for a wide variety of needs and can do my best to provide reinforcement on current training, but I am not going to be attuned right off the jump to the nuances noticed by your trainer or you... I can reinforce sit, lay down, paw, stay, heel, rollover, or anything else. I can administer medicine. I am not formally trained in pet CPR, but I am trained in human CPR and have looked at videos for pet CPR. When I was younger I worked as a lifeguard, and have a remarkable natural ability to stay calm and act fast in crisis situations. This comes in handy, for example: when protecting my maltipoo from other dogs, managing territorial behavior, or keeping one dog out of another dog’s bowl. My schedule is flexible and I have a car. I have a small business and partial responsibility of my dog, so I do need to be able to run errands, go to meetings, or check in at home to keep that part of my life running. For extended care, and distance further than 5 miles, I prefer be given the option to stay over at clients for the sake of gas costs, time, and energy. First meeting and approach are important to setting a precedent, I first see if the pet will approach me. I like to offer my hand palm down for them to smell. Sometimes it takes a few times smelling the hand before they feel comfortable letting me pet them. In my opinion it’s important not to mess up first impressions with the pet. Spending time together builds familiarity bonds, being attentive builds trust. It’s important to build rapport.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and bedtime so pets feel comfortable and secure while their family is away. I also make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and exercise, and I keep the home clean and tidy. My goal is to make the experience as stress-free as possible for both the pets and their owners.
About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life! From pet sitting, to owning my own, I take great pride in caring for all animals. I hope to care for yours soon! I just moved to the area and am self-employed. With that flexibility being on Rover is a great way for me to fill up my day and help my fellow pet lovers! My dogs (Archie and Cooper) are my babies, we prioritize their exercise, mental stimulation and lots and lots of love. About: I have taken care of both cats and dogs. I love taking dogs on walks, long or short, and multiple times a day if needed. Or even if they just need to be let out in the yard and have a little play time! I have grown up around cats and understand all the little quirks that come with them. I would be perfect if they need a hangout buddy for a little bit! I always know how to find the pets at any function I’m at! I am currently waiting to start a new job, so I have all the time in the world to go on walks throughout the day, let them out in the yard to play, or even just hangout with the fur baby inside. About: I'm a lifelong dog lover with two of my own a 6-year-old Golden Retriever and a 2-year-old Lab/Aussie mix. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have years of experience dog sitting. I treat every dog like family and am comfortable with all breeds and energy levels. Whether your pup needs playtime, cuddles, or just someone to keep them company, I’m here to help! “I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. About: I have had dogs in my family since I was about 8. I have worked with puppies from 2018-2020 I have fostered many dogs from Cincinnati Animal Care the past year. I currently am self employed and am home a lot for the time being. I am. really flexible with fitting pets into my daily/weekly routine currently. I have quick access to outside and there are dog friendly parks in my neighborhood that are only a 45 second walk. (usually never busy) I can crate the dog if needed or let them lounge if the owner approves! I can take dogs on short-long walks and can take them to any appointments if anything was planned ahead of time. Very flexible!
