“Kelti and Tanner always take such good care of Ollie! He has so much fun playing with their cute pups! He is a pretty shy guy and kelti and tanner always seem to break him out of his shell, we love them!”

“Our dog love his stay with Scott and Alycia. They were very accommodating, quick to communicate and sent us lots of pictures. William went on several walks, played tug with their dog and had a great time with them! Would recommend them to anyone!”

“Katie was a perfect sitter for Nash! She gave him the attention and love he wanted, a great house to feel comfortable in and he almost didn’t want to leave!”

“Lauren and Wynn were awesome with our 4 year old boxer! It sounds like he had a great time they sent a few pics of him playing. We would love to use them in the future! Thanks so much for watching Buck!”

“Kimberely was truly exceptional with my dog, Rooster. She treats every dog she watches as if they are a member of her own family, and it genuinely shows. From her daily updates, it was clear she took the time to understand Roo’s unique personality and little quirks — something that meant so much to me. Rooster can struggle with separation anxiety, and this was our first Rover experience where, when I arrived to pick her up, she happily greeted me and then immediately went back to playing instead of making a beeline for the car to go home. That alone speaks volumes about how safe, comfortable, and loved she felt in Kimberely's care. Her home is also clean, cozy, and perfectly set up for dogs, with a fenced-in backyard that gives them plenty of space to play and relax. I can’t recommend Kimberely highly enough. Knowing that I have such a wonderful, trustworthy sitter makes me genuinely look forward to my next trip — and I know Roo will too.”

“My puppy came home super tired and very happy! I think she had a blast. They kept me up to date with pictures and texts and I didn't have to worry at all. She was in good hands!”

“Matthew was amazing. I’ve only had Oakley for two weeks and am still getting to know his habits, on top of the fact that he is already 85 lbs, but none of that bothered Matthew. He sent daily pictures and confirmed that all was going well. He is very relaxed and Oakley got along very well with his three dogs. Matthew has a very large backyard and a 100’ lead that was great for Oakley since he loves to just lay outside. I highly recommend Matthew and will be using him again.”

“Dion is fantastic and I would definitely recommend him. He responded quickly and professionally to my last minute request. He sent photo updates and has a great room for my anxious dog to hang out in with his dog. He took my dog for a walk and has a great yard for them to play in. My dog was so calm at pick up. I couldn’t be happier! Will book with him again.”
“Excellent stay for my pup! She was loved and well cared for. I received pictures and updates the entire stay. Would highly recommend Jennifer and Robert!”

“My pup seemed to have a great time and came home tired and happy! Stephanie sent us daily pictures, which meant a lot to us, and she was easily available for communication. We would definitely board with her again!”

“Taylor was amazing. She even accept my las minute request and even came to pick up and drop my dog Pika home. I’ll definitely will contact her again next time.”

“Ryan continues to prove his superior work ethic! In the record breaking snowfall that occurred during their stay he provided good times outdoors and an extra night and day of care for Maverick and Goose. Thanks again, Ryan!”

“Henry loved every minute staying at their house!!! William and Haley sent us pictures and updates which helped to take the worry away and every picture showed Henry enjoying cuddles and fun! They were very flexible with arrival and departure, super accommodating (really only had to pack food), and the fenced in yard looked like a dream playground for any dog full of energy. I would not only highly recommend them, but we’ve found a dog sitter that we will FOR SURE use again!!!! This family is amazing and they had plenty of love to share with our pup Henry ❤️❤️”

“Jonathan was a great sitter for my 3 year old, Boston Terrier, Louie! He communicated well and sent lots of pictures so I never had to worry how it was going and in a timely manner too. Happy I chose Jonathan during a last minute trip planned for the weekend. I highly recommend and will be booking again :)”

“Nancy has been great with ou senior dog. She makes sure he feels comfortable and safe. Nancy takes him potty often especially because he's a senior dog. She is super flexible and has great communication. Both of her pupps do a great job with Domi as well. We will continue using her as long as she keeps Rovering.”

“Lauren is a wonderful pet sitter! I feel sure my pup felt comfortable, happy, and loved while she was there—the home away from home we were hoping to find. And she sent lots of photo updates that let us know how well our dog had settled in. She gave us great peace of mind the entire time and I’m sure we will use her again!”

“Jessica was absolutely the best pet sitter! She was so sweet and really loves animals! She has the best setup for watching them in her home! She had a nice area for my cat to be separate if he chose to from her pets - but her pets were awesome also! I highly recommend her to everyone! I had been super anxious and worried about leaving my kitty, but my mind was at ease and I could relax on vaca because I knew my kitty was being extremely well taken care of! She also sent daily pics and notes, which was so great! Thank you so much Jessica!”

“Ashley is wonderful! She takes great care of my cat and sends a photo for each visit. Ashley even opened up her schedule for my short notice request on a holiday weekend!”

“Emily took such good care of our cats while we were away. It's always stressful to leave our cats for an extended period and finding someone who can take care of them is another challenge. With Emily, she went above and beyond to care for our three cats with their very different diets and needs, that also included double daily visits and she even trekked out during a winter storm to make sure they had what they needed. She always provided us with updates and photos, and was very respectful of our home while we were away. We can't recommend her enough and hope she will be available for any of our future requests because she is simply the best!”

“Christine was super helpful and lovely to work with. Biscuit really loved her and sent lots of pictures while i was away making my first time away with her as pleasant as it could be. thank you!!”

“Sara was super responsive to the booking request and was able to meet our cats beforehand. Sara was very responsible meeting our cats needs while we were out, she was on time, and provided pictures and updates! The cats loved her!”

“Andi did a great job sitting for our two kitties while we were out of town! They have complicated food needs and health issues and it set my mind at ease knowing they were being taken care of. We really appreciated the update messages too!”

“Devynne did an outstanding job watching our cat Percy! She sent adorable videos of the two of them playing, as well as detailed food and litter box updates. I felt so safe going away knowing Devynne was watching Percy!”

“Susan is fantastic! She takes such great care of our Salsa and always sends lots of pictures. We are so grateful that we can feel so at ease about leaving our kitty at home when we know Susan will be stopping by. Highly recommend!”

“Stephanie did a fabulous job of taking care of my two cats. My cats don’t respond well to new people. By day 3 both cats emerged from hiding and interacted. That says a lot about Stephanie. She was able to win over my weirdos. She kept me informed of their food consumption and a couple of barfy spots. She even cleaned up the barf.”

“My wife and I were so nervous about leaving our anxious cat that we almost cancelled our vacation altogether. Daniela put our minds at ease by going above and beyond with her care and her updates. We knew our kitty was in good hands when we got the daily videos of her playing and eating and snuggling. I can’t recommend Daniela enough - she is patient and kind and we felt so much better while we were gone because we knew she was taking such great care of our cat.”

“After our first round with Lauren and Wynn, it was the first time in years our elder cat didn’t have a UTI after a sitter. Pictures always show how much our cats enjoy this duo but us not coming home to a sick cat really tells the story. Happy to have this duo caring for our kitties!”

“Allison did a great job taking care of our cat while we were away for a week. She was super friendly, responsive, and easy to schedule with. We really appreciated the notes and pictures she sent everyday during her check-ins. We will definitely use Allison again in the future!”

“Naomi took excellent care of our Kitties! With her knowledge & love for all cats we felt fortunate & confident with our Kitties in her care. Her attention to bringing in the mail & daily photos/videos was an extra bonus! 5🌟 all the way! We will rebook and would highly recommend!”

“Monica is so professional, responsive and trustworthy! We love having her take care of Gadget and Calvin and are so happy with the attention and care she has provided to our sweet pets!”

“Alexis was great! The cats were comfortable with her and she was very communicative. There was a plumbing disaster that came up unexpectedly and she notified me immediately + waited around to let maintenance in.”

About: Hi there! My name is Bri and through the years I have cared for a wide variety of dogs - family pets, fosters, medically fragile/complex, puppies, extremely timid, and senior. I took my grandma's 10-year-old dog in and cared for her until she passed at 18-and-a-half years old. I also fostered a mama and her six puppies (all had ringworm) that were each adopted out to amazing families and then I adopted the mom (Layla) who is still with me today! I work a hybrid job so some days I’m home all day, others I’m in and out. Either way though, our dogs can play the whole day! I am available for daycare and overnights. Excited to connect! I have a fenced-in yard and my sweet pup, Layla, to keep your dog company! I genuinely love dogs of all kinds and give lots of kisses, cuddles, scratches and affirmations throughout the day. Your fur baby will be well loved here!

About: I've taken care of my friend's landlord cat a few times, and interested in getting one of my own, but before I do so I'd like to learn and experience the ins and outs of owning a cat, even temporarily. All, I don't have a lot of experience, but I take direction very well, and I'm willing to learn and take advice!

“Jen & Rob took such great care of my dog for day care weekly. He always came home happy, healthy, and exhausted (thank god, he is a high energy Aussie and needed to expel that energy!). Thank you, Jen & Rob for being a safe place for me to bring my dog!”

“Jonathan was super responsive and willing to do a meet and greet with us. Our dog can be nervous around bigger dogs, so this was really helpful. We were able to do a short 3-hour daycare soon after and really appreciated all of the updates that Jonathan shared throughout Penny's visit. Thanks, Jonathan!”

“My puppy enjoyed the day playing with Brandon and his friendly pets. Brandon was reliable, responsive, worked well with my puppy’s energy level, and sent me a lot of updates during the day. We will be back.”

“Jenny and her family were amazing!! They took care of my dog like he was their own. He had so much fun and didn’t want to leave. Jenny also sent me awesome pictures of all the fun he was having. Thank you so much!”

About: I’m currently studying to be a vet assistant. Since I was a kid I’ve loved animals and have accumulated lots of knowledge over the years. I’ve been trusted to care for many family pets. I’m very calm and patient, and I’m excited to have the opportunity to care for your pets as well! I’m currently working part-time, early mornings. Mid-week, afternoons and weekends are the best times for me to care for and play with your babies! I live in a very quiet home and a very quiet neighborhood. We can sit and relax while I knit or easily walk down to the nearby observatory, park, or town square.

“Dottie goes to Emma’s all day, 3 days a week and just loves it! She gets so excited as soon as we pull in the driveway! Emma is responsive, helpful, kind, gentle and great with my little dog!”

“Ryan was wonderful with my two dachshunds. Boarded them during the day while we had workers installing new carpet. Sent pics and videos so I had no worries. They came home tired and happy. Would hire Ryan again.”

About: I’ve been around and cared for animals for over 20 years and truly enjoy being around them. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable with different personalities — from energetic pups to more anxious or senior pets. I offer walks, drop-in visits, and boarding in my home. I do have a cat, and he is used to being around dogs, but I always prioritize safety and comfort for everyone. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal like they’re part of the family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home and structure my schedule intentionally, so I’m able to provide consistent walks, feeding times, and attention throughout the day. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks or drop-ins, and when boarding, pets are rarely left alone for long periods. I value routine and make sure each pet’s normal schedule is maintained to help them feel comfortable and secure. I live in a safe, walkable neighborhood with my son (7 YO) and our cat, Toto. While our backyard is not fenced, dogs are always leashed for outdoor time and walks. We have great sidewalks and a quiet area that’s ideal for daily exercise. Inside the home, I provide a calm and supervised environment. I’m attentive to each pet’s comfort level and always prioritize safety, clear communication with owners, and following specific care instructions. I’m also happy to schedule meet-and-greets beforehand to ensure everyone feels confident.
About: Early 40’s year old sitter/walker with car. You could say I have 40+ years of experience. My family had a German Shepherd from before I was born and I was very close to her. There has been a stream of pets in my family. Including so so so many cats in NYC. Even going so far as to “rescue” a half feral one. Currently, I share ownership of a dog. As a small business owner of over 10 years, I am able to have a flexible schedule and spend more time hanging out with your pet(s). That said, I have a lot of experience managing other people, and I do have high expectations for clear communication from clients. I have never had a complaint from clients that already have human children. I am very clear about the kind of care I offer. For example, I clearly state I can do 4-8 hrs for letting out. That does not mean that when I get to the sit, you tell me you expect every hour. I also do not cancel other bookings so that you can be the sole client. I have been through that, obliged, and the client was still dissatisfied. I am running a business and the new owner of this app runs on harsh algorithms that hide you in search. Let’s try to be better and more human, than conforming to private equity and their bottom line. For the fur babies, I can follow their diet and pet or play or brush their hair. As long as you give me a list or schedule, I'll do my best to provide it. I have extensive experience with pets at all stages of life. (As well as other kinds of pets which I am open to caring for.) I understand the care required for a wide variety of needs and can do my best to provide reinforcement on current training, but I am not going to be attuned right off the jump to the nuances noticed by your trainer or you... I can reinforce sit, lay down, paw, stay, heel, rollover, or anything else. I can administer medicine. I am not formally trained in pet CPR, but I am trained in human CPR and have looked at videos for pet CPR. When I was younger I worked as a lifeguard, and have a remarkable natural ability to stay calm and act fast in crisis situations. This comes in handy, for example: when protecting my maltipoo from other dogs, managing territorial behavior, or keeping one dog out of another dog’s bowl. My schedule is flexible and I have a car. I have a small business and partial responsibility of my dog, so I do need to be able to run errands, go to meetings, or check in at home to keep that part of my life running. For extended care, and distance further than 5 miles, I prefer be given the option to stay over at clients for the sake of gas costs, time, and energy. First meeting and approach are important to setting a precedent, I first see if the pet will approach me. I like to offer my hand palm down for them to smell. Sometimes it takes a few times smelling the hand before they feel comfortable letting me pet them. In my opinion it’s important not to mess up first impressions with the pet. Spending time together builds familiarity bonds, being attentive builds trust. It’s important to build rapport.

“Akita is professional, very responsive and amazing! My fur baby felt at home immediately. He even ate his food which he never does when he’s away from home. She was so accommodating and did such a wonderful job taking him on plenty of walks and potty breaks! He was so excited for day 2 daycare. I’m so happy I found a forever sitter for my baby! Thank you Akita!”

The best part of my day is being around my dogs and if i see a dog I want to just pet and love them all . I have saved one from a shelter and she is hyper and I take her on daily walks. My 5 year old has ear infections and give him the proper medicine by his vet and clean out his ears. Also I enjoy bathing dogs and just letting dogs be dogs. It's all about them not feeling alone and having someone there that loves them as much as their owners. I plan to give thar much love back to them I work at home and have a 12 year old son who loves meeting new friends. He also will play with the pups and like to run and they chase him and play I have safe places they can stay with me in my home and a safe park. All dogs are welcome in my car. About: I have had so many pets in my lifetime. Including a pig, ferrets, cats and of course dogs. I love taking care of my own, they are my babies and I’d love to share my passion with your pets as well. I’m available for boarding, and walking all days of the week. The reason why I have so much availability is because I work from home scheduling. I have two dogs both very friendly with other dogs. I do have a fenced in backyard as well. Everyday is pretty much the same routine, go out for potty in the morning. The dogs then get fed, and then about 20 min later we go for a 1.5-2 mile walk. I’ve noticed it has really helped my pups to have a routine.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was in high school. I have experience in dog walking, watching pets at my home or theirs, and volunteering at local shelters. I'm currently working full time, so I am available nights and weekends to board your pet. This is to ensure that I can give your pet the attention they deserve! I have a huge fenced in yard and also 5 dogs of my own, so your pet will surely get lots of love and exercise at my home!

“Everything went well with drop off and pick up. He was watching another dog also, I was nervous at first because the other dog seemed a little aggressive. He assured me that they would be alright. He sent updates. He's friendly. I would recommend him and also will be using again.”
