“This was my first time booking Leann for house sitting while we were on vacation, and I am so glad that we did. My little girl, Lilah, loved her. Lilah became Leann’s shadow, following her around, sitting next to her on the couch, and sleeping next to her at night. Leann took her out for plenty of walks and spent a lot of time throwing the ball to her in the backyard. Leann provided daily updates and pictures. She cleaned up all of Lilah’s dishes, and my house was cleaner then when I left (my dog is a shedder and her hair every where). The biggest surprise was that Leann had taken photos of Lilah and had them printed so I have so many cute photos of Lilah to put into frames. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated the care and love that she gave to Lilah while we were on vacation. It is nice to go away and know that your furbaby is being well cared for.”

“Lauren was so sweet and took great care of our Harvey! He was a little crazy when she first arrived, and she was so patient with him. We're looking forward to having her take care of him again in a few weeks!”

“Jude was awesome with our three big dogs! I didn’t worry once while she was there and she even left our home cleaner than we left it for her! 11/10 would recommend and book again!”

“Adam is so awesome and helped us in a last minute situation when our flights got cancelled. So grateful for his willingness to stay a a couple extra days at the last minute. Highly recommend and our dog can’t wait for him to come back again soon!”

“Leaving your pup with somebody new for the first time can be nerve raking but Briana made sure both me and my dog Maisie felt as comfortable as possible! She made sure to ask questions about Maisie’s routine, habits, and personality which reassured me that we were on the same page and that she’d be a good fit from day 1. Throughout my time away she kept me informed on how Maisie was doing and sent pictures which is always nice! Coming home to a happy and healthy puppy was the best way to end my trip! Unrelated to taking care of Maisie, she took care of my home and belongings as if it were her own while she stayed here which was greatly appreciated! Next time I need someone to help me out with Maisie, Briana will be my go-to!”

About: I’ve lived with dogs/cats my entire life. I have checked in, played, fed, given meds and potty breaks to dogs of two other families before. STARTING AUGUST 18: I will be starting my clinical rotations at WellSpan hospitals and other sites. This means during weekdays I will not be available from 6am-3:30pm or even later depending what site I am at that day (i have rotations in Gettysburg). Weekends I am available unless said otherwise! Thank you! I’m a college student on summer break, so I’m available a lot of the time! I let out and play with another dog during weekday mornings, so anytime after that! Although I have an unfenced yard, I live on a dead end road with not a lot of traffic. I have a huge field behind my house where I can play with your pets. I have a friendly Springer Spaniel who can keep your dog company. I can easily crate if needed. Will not walk or let dogs out to potty without a leash. Will play unleashed in field.

“Absolutely amazing, such a sweetheart and very communicative, took amazing care of my baby boys and did it last minute for me which I appreciate so much. She is so amazing and genuinely cares for the pups. House was clean, pups were happy, and they were fed 🤍🤍”

“Melissa did an excellent job staying at our home and caring for our Great Dane Parker June. Kept us updated while we were away and our home was the way we left it. Will be using again for our future sitting needs.”

“Caylin did a great job for us and Millie! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a house sitter! We enjoyed the pictures and comments she sent us while we were away. She’s the best!”

About: I’ve have been watching friends dogs (2 or 3 at a time) for the last 4 years. I also helped care and walk my sisters dogs when we lived together for 4 years. I am always flexible with the schedule the dog is use to, but I am use to walking dogs in the morning and in the evening. I have a crate if needed. I have a small fenced in yard. No pets currently live in the home. I will care for your pets as you do.

“Hannah was once again amazing and took great care of our dogs while we were away. She did great with providing updates and sent lots of pics to make being away from our pups a little easier 😊”

“Christina was amazing. Words can't express how lucky we were to find her a few days ago for a ridiculously last minute ask. She was responsive, asked questions when needed and followed the directions left for her. 1000% recommend. You won't be disappointed.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life—everything from wiggly puppies to wise old seniors. I currently work at a vet clinic, so I’m no stranger to belly rubs, bath time, or giving medications when needed. Whether it’s a dog who loves long walks or a cat who prefers snuggle marathons, I’m here to make tails wag and purrs happen. Your pets will get all the love, care, and attention they deserve (and maybe a few extra treats 😉). While I do work a full time job, I am free all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to care for pets! I’m also available after work to go for walks or just stop in and check on your pets as well. My home does not have a fenced yard, however it is in a private neighborhood with plenty of walking opportunities. I do not have children or any pets of my own at the time, so pets who prefer to be the only pet work great for my lifestyle. I’m very flexible and am a certified rule follower, so if your kiddo prefers to be at home, that works for me as well!

About: I lost my 18 year old pug in January 2022😢. Looking forward to spending time with a furry friend again! Big or small dogs welcome! I work close to home and my husband works from home on most days. We are professionals with flexible schedules. We can work around your needs. We currently have no pets but a nice big house in the country and a yard with a creek and various options for going on walks! No busy streets around here!

kathy p.
“We hit the jackpot when we found Kathy on Rover. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect person to take care of our dogs. She was very reliable and communicative. She and her husband took such great care of our dogs, who have some quirky personalities. Our dogs have social anxiety, and we were nervous about them being left with someone unfamiliar, but they got along perfectly! I appreciated the updates that Kathy sent, providing photos of the dogs throughout their stay so that we knew they were doing well. We feel very fortunate to have found Kathy and would highly recommend her for dog-sitting services. We would definitely work with Kathy again based on our very positive experience.”
