“Lauren is always so nice and makes Roscoe feel right at home! We love the pics and updates she always takes the time to send and that Roscoe looks totally at home in all of them.”

“Olivia was great. I liked her immediately when we met. My previous sitter wasn’t available so I had to find someone fast to sit with my senior dog, Jake. She communicated well with me before his stay and she kept me informed of how he was doing on his short visit with her. He was happy and doing well when I picked him up. I will be booking with her again.”

“Michael is my go-to dog sitter. He is a wonderful caretaker. He sends pictures and videos with his regular updates. My dog gets so excited whenever he sees Michael. It is such an assurance to know that our sweet boy is getting so much love and such great care while we are away. I HIGHLY recommend Michael. I'm sure that you will be as happy with him as we have been.”
“Janelle was very attentive and supportive during my booking. She is very responsive and will provide you with update on your fur baby. She sends pictures and keeps you updated. I will definitely be booking with her again!!”
About: I would take amazing care of your pet in my home. I will be able to provide them with the same care they get at home. I work from home, so I have the flexibility in my day to provide walks & playtime when needed. I've had many years of experience caring for dogs (fish and a hamster). When walk time is not needed, they will have full access to my fully fenced in yard. I have also provided care for friends and family when they had to leave town both in their home and in my home. Both of my pets have unfortunately transitioned over the doggie rainbow but my love for fur babies continues. Our first fur baby, Niles, was adopted at 3 months old. He lived a very loving and active life and transitioned in 2020 after 16 1/2 years. We took our second fur baby Nyla in at the age of 6 after her owners no longer wanted her due to having a baby and she was being placed in a shelter. Finding us was the biggest blessing and she was what our family needed. She also lived a very active life, as we used to walk 7 miles a day. She was a German Shepherd/Husky mix and needed to stay mobile. She transitioned in 2025 after 11 1/2 years. With both of our fur pets, we would visit doggie parks which allowed them to play freely. Both of our pets were loved and cared for during the best and not so great days. Your pet will feel as loved as my own were when it comes to eating, playing, walking around the block, or just good ole fashioned cuddle time. I don't mind giving medicine if needed and any other special requests can also be taken care of. I am an entrepreneur working from home, so I'm able to provide care for your pet throughout the day. Our normal routine would include a morning, mid-day (if the temps aren't too hot), and evening walk. They will be able to go in the backyard for play throughout the day in the middle of those walks. I have a fully fenced in yard and your fur baby will be safe. I can also easily crate your fur baby if that is what you prefer. Just know they will be well cared for, and I only take one pet at a time to ensure they're safe. I only take two pets if they are in the same family.
“My dog is older and has meds she needs to take on a daily basis. Joyce took great care of her while I was out of town. I definitely would recommend her to others looking to board their dogs.”

“Josie is a rescue dog and never has been away from me. Her stay with Carol was great. She was in very good hands. I have already booked a time in June for her to stay with Carol again because of her good experience.”

“This was my first time ever using Rover. I might’ve struggled a little because I’m not that tech savvy, but Gina was nice, and Molly seem to of had a good time and been well taken care of.”

“Johanna and her family once again took great care of Beanie. She always has a great time with the other dogs and comes home worn out from playing! I recommend Johanna to anyone looking for an amazing sitter for their pet!”

“Glad we chose Marquita to watch Roux. They were amazing together. She’s very caring and loved him as much as we do. Definitely found his new sitter. Thanks again for taking such good care of him. He’ll be back for future sleep overs soon.”
“Kenya took care of our Milo for 9 days while we were out of the country. And she was so awesome with him. She often sent us updates and pictures in regards to Milo while we were so far away. I really appreciated that so much! We will certainly book Kenya again! I wish I could give her more than 5-stars.”

“We have been so happy with Tracy and her level of care for our toy poodle. Tracy and her kids treated our dog like she was family. I know our dog felt right at home while we were gone. I received multiple updates and pictures while we were away. We’ve booked with her twice now and will continue to use her for the future.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of November 2026, there are 196 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Morrisonville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Morrisonville home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Morrisonville.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Morrisonville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in LA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
