Would not hesitate to use Amanda again for future dog sitting and will recommend her to my friends!”

“First time using Rover and I found the app easy to search for finding a sitter. I loved Angela C for taking such good care of my fur baby! She stayed in touch and sent pictures to me every few days! She was very consciencous about making sure he got all his meds. What a relief to know he was taken such good care of and joined her own dogs. THANKS ANGELA”

“Olivia was absolutely wonderful. Remus has CCD that requires medication on a as needed basis. “I have 2 (somewhat litter box trained) ferrets, and Ashley took great care of them, despite how messy I know they can be. Thank you so much! They’re free fed and have a water fountain, and both stayed full the whole week and a half I was gone. I was so scared of coming back to ferret poop all over my house, but the place was perfectly clean. She even worked with me when I forgot to leave my key under the mat. Thank you again!”

About: I am a 2nd year student at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge. I grew up with a love for animals and decided to turn my passion into my career. I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, horses, and chickens. I have small animal clinic experience so I am very comfortable with giving medications, identifying signs of anxiety or pain, and providing loving care to any animal. I have 3 dogs right now that I absolutely adore and spend most of my time with. Being a veterinary student means that I get the opportunity to deal with all sorts of animals weekly. Animals bring me joy and the more I can be around them, the better! I feed my dogs twice a day and take them on daily walks. I play with them as much as I can to get their energy out and cuddle with them once they are tired out. When I dog-sit for people, I usually go to their house 3 times a day, play with them, and ensure they get enough attention and playtime. I am also comfortable with giving baths and trimming nails.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience growing up around cats and understanding their unique personalities and needs. I know that every cat is different—some love attention and playtime, while others prefer a calm environment and their own space. I take the time to learn each cat’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owner is away. My goal is to provide patient, reliable care and make the experience as stress-free as possible for both cats and their owners.

“Lyndsi was a wonderful pet and house sitter. She shared photos or a video of the pets each day while we were away along with text updates on how things were going. We were very comfortable that our pets were safe and sound while we were away for a few days. We highly recommend booking Lyndsi.”

About: I have had cats since i was a young girl. I have my very own right now named snooki 🩷 I understand some cats can be crazy or be chill and I am the best person to love and care for them ! I understand every cat has different needs and I can accommodate any!

About: I enjoy the company of cats of all ages, whether your cat is high-energy and playful or cuddle bug who loves to sit on laps! I have a kitty fur baby of my own who is the sweetest girl. I've also taken care of cats of every kind and personality working at my local cat shelter since high school. I can guarantee quality enrichment and brush grooming (if a brush is provided). I have done many check-ins for family friends and cat-sittings for neighbors. I can provide whatever your cat needs whether that is extra enrichment, special feeding instructions, adhering to a medication schedule, or simply extra cuddles. If there are any specific requests and requirements your pet needs to be safe and happy in my care, I am more than happy to accommodate, just let me know!

“Kaitlyn was fantastic! She asked a bunch of questions early on to understand my dog's needs and kept me informed of concerns that came up during the drop-in visits. I highly recommend her as a sitter, especially if you have a large breed dog. I will definitely schedule her for future drop-ins.”

“We have a diabetic cat, so we were in search of someone that could inject her with insulin if needed (luckily she’s in remission so it has not been needed for a few days!!). Allison was the perfect person for the job! We accidentally brought our spare key out of town with us and she worked with us to print one for herself. She also downloaded the app on her phone to check Boots glucose levels so that we would know whether or not insulin was needed. We could not ask for a better sitter and will likely book her again in the future!”

“Samantha was an excellent cat sitter, and I would absolutely book her again. She was reliable, excellent at communicating, and clearly very attentive to our kittens. While we were away, she checked in with questions when needed, confirmed details, and reassured us that everything was taken care of. She followed feeding instructions carefully, made sure both the kittens and outdoor cats were cared for, and gave the kittens plenty of love and attention. It was such a relief knowing our pets were in caring, capable hands. Highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind sitter!”

“Jada was absolutely fantastic! She took such wonderful care of our dogs while we were gone & made our vacation so much more enjoyable because I wasn't worrying at all! Would recommend her a million times over!”

About: Previously I’ve had 2 years of professional dog handling experience from working at dog daycare and boarding facilities. Every day, I would spend hours playing with pups of all different ages, breeds, and sizes. I worked hard to make sure they were fed (and medicated if needed), hand feeding them and sitting down with them if they were too anxious to eat in a new environment. I cared for at least 30 dogs a day, sometimes up to 60. All of them hold a special place in my heart, and I still remember over 200 names. There, I was taught the proper ways to handle and walk dogs. I was also trained on CPR in case of emergencies. Every dog I met had a different personality, so I had to learn from experience how to handle each and every one of them differently. Additionally, I own two cats and have knowledge in basic feline first aid, including CPR. I’ve also raised two litters of kittens in the past, from birth to when they became 2-3 months old. It would be an honor if you decide to choose me to care of your pet, cat or dog, it’s something that I greatly enjoy doing. No matter how big, small, rough, excited, or grumpy your pet is, I would love to care for them. No accommodation is too difficult for me. I’m currently in school at LSU with morning classes, so I’m only available to work past 3PM on weekdays. Most weekends, I’ll be available all day. Feel free to message me personally for any clarification. My services are restricted to walking and home visits, as I don’t have additional space to comfortably care for another pet in my own apartment. I feel confident caring for pets who do not have a fenced in backyard.

About: I’m a vet tech student with a deep passion for animals. I am willing to accommodate a vast variety of pets in all breeds and sizes! I’m currently available part time because of school. I guarantee your pet will love being in my company as much as I will love being in theirs.

“Lauren has a nice house and good sized back yard to accommodate her Rover dogs. This is our first time using Lauren. She and her daughter made Meryl feel comfortable and showered her with attention and affection. Lauren had great communication with us. We had a meeting to introduce Meryl to them day before our dog sitting appointment that went very well. We want to use Lauren again soon for boarding. I highly recommend her for your dog.”

About: I have cared for my own dogs since I was very little, and I currently have three at home! I value play time and fun experiences for your pups! Reliability, accuracy, patience, and trustworthiness is a guarantee! I am currently a student at LSU. I have classes every weekday from mid-mornings to afternoons. On most weekends I’m free to provide care anytime. Overall, communication with the parents about what their pets needs is the most important step in giving excellent pet care. I can ensure that any pet under my wing will be safe and happy.

“I have never used a dog sitting service before so I was very nervous but Jennifer made me feel very comfortable leaving my puppy with her & he had a great time! He came home well taken care of & worn out, which was awesome. Already planning to use her services again!”

“Robin was wonderful! So responsive and communicative. I have never used a dog sitter before but I felt very comfortable leaving my puppy with Robin in her home. She sent photo updates frequently and sent my puppy home with some goodies. We loved Robin!”

“My dog absolutely loved him. He was anxious the first day but Keith really helped him get comfortable and by the third day he was happily running inside, not sparing me a second glance. Would 100% have Keith watch my dog again.”

At your home, I will be very respectful of your area and remain focused on your furry friends’ needs.

About: Hi! My name is Mackenzie and I’m looking forward to taking care of your pet(s). I have experience working as a vet assistant in an animal clinic and kennel. I also attend Louisiana State University as a pre-vet student. Alongside my work experience, I have grown up my whole life with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. About 3 years ago, I adopted a senile dachshund from the shelter. He had many health problems and from working in the clinic and kennel I am very used to administering medicine. I also don’t mind cleaning up any messes your pet makes as I am very used to it. I am no doubt an animal lover and I’m looking forward to gaining more experience while working with your pets and taking care of them! I already have a part time job that I work in the evenings, 2-3x a week, but I am graduating soon and my availability will be very open during the day. I don’t work as much during the week, so after school I am usually pretty open. What days I am available does vary every week, but once again I only work about 2-3 nights during the week. I am definitely a workaholic and I make myself pretty available! After school, I have a pretty set schedule with how I care for my animals. I have a huge fenced in yard that my dogs run around in. I have a little fence blocking off my cats from my dogs so everyone has their own little area and my guinea pigs are kept in their own cages on tables in their own little area. All of my pets are in great health and not to mention they are all rescues!
About: I have a long history of pet sitting for family and friends. I love giving pets and attention to my furry friends. I have two cats, but have a very soft spot for pups, too. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for walks during the day/ evening and for house sitting or check ins. I will treat your baby like they’re my own! I know they get sad when you’re away, so I am available for extra love and keeping things as normal as possible.
About: I have experience with cats, reptiles, and dogs. I have experience with reactive and aggressive dogs and their care, as well as skittish dogs, and normal pups. As I am a small person, I cannot walk untrained giant breed dogs unfortunately, but I can more than happily dog sit and do drop in care! I love animals of all types and find great joy in caring for animals. I've worked with senior dogs, new born puppies, older puppies, rescue dogs, neglected dogs, and longtime family pups. I have experience with all sorts of cats, from skittish to cuddle bugs. I have some experience with training and find joy in helping dogs reach their best potential and learn new tricks. I've been caring for animals since I was at least 13 years old and intend to long into my future.
“Tenay is a skilled and enthusiastic dog walker who keeps in touch when caring for pets. She stayed with my pup for three days while I was out of town, and did a great job, even managing to get my "loves to nap" dog out for some long walks (which he needs). She sent photos and videos and I felt confident that he was Ok at all times.”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is that I turned my lifelong passion for animals into my profession. As an incoming second-year veterinary student at LSU, caring for animals is more than just a job to me, it is truly what I love to do every day. I am passionate about creating a safe, loving, and stress free environment for every pet in my care and treating them with the same compassion and attention I would give my own animals. My veterinary training and hands on experience allow me to confidently care for pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I am comfortable administering medications, monitoring health concerns, recognizing signs of stress or illness, and providing attentive care for senior pets or animals needing extra support. I also understand the importance of patience, consistency, and positive interactions when caring for puppies and high energy pets. Above all, I genuinely love building trust and connections with animals. Pet care is something I intentionally prioritize within my daily and weekly routine. While I do work part time in a large animal emergency hospital, caring for animals is my passion and an important part of my life. I carefully manage my schedule to ensure that every pet in my care receives the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. I understand how important reliability and communication are when trusting someone with your pets, and I am committed to meeting each animal’s individual needs, whether that includes walks, playtime, medications, feeding schedules, or simply providing companionship and comfort while you are away. About: I’m a vet tech student with a deep passion for animals. I am willing to accommodate a vast variety of pets in all breeds and sizes! I’m currently available part time because of school. I guarantee your pet will love being in my company as much as I will love being in theirs. About: I am an animal obsessed graduate looking to fill my free time taking care of pets while I am on the hunt for a job. I’ve had my fair share of caring for dogs of all sizes and cats too! My pets are my family, and I will treat yours with the same respect. I know you want your pets left in the best care while you are away, so I am able to come do a meet and greet if preferred! Fun fact: I just went through a training program on how to better understand dog body language when they interact with other dogs and how to handle emergency situations when they arise! I am currently working part time and taking a couple courses for my Master's degree, so I have plenty of time (and energy) to care for your lovely pet. When I house sit, I will have to leave for a few hours a day for either class or work, but will spend ample time with your four-legged friend! In your home, full respect will be given to both your pets and your home. Walks and drop ins will not be spent browsing my phone, your four-legged friend has my full attention! Drop in visits can be tailored to the needs of your pet, and walks can be as active as your pup likes (I like to get those steps in). If your pup has decent leash manners and would like to take a run, I can provide that as well.

I would prefer to watch your pup(s) at my house since I do have fur babies of my own, or be able to bring my dog along with me to your house. Only if it’s safe to do so of course! Just for reference, my baby is a male, mini-dachshund. He’s 11 years old and is a timid, loving sweet boy. But if that’s not an option, that’s okay too! I also have two cats who are both loving and do well with dogs! If we’re boarding at my house, I can pickup and drop off for you as well. I work a Monday-Friday job, and am typically off by 4:30! Anytime outside of those hours will be allotted for the care of any fur babies you entrust me with(: I live in a quiet spot not far from LSU! I have a pretty big yard and safe walking areas for long walks. All I’ll need is a collar and leash (:

“Lauren and Cody are the best. Our dogs love them and the kids so much. I’m so glad we have someone we trust to leave them with when we can’t bring them with us, it makes traveling a lot more relaxing.”

“Keith was great with our 3 dogs. Communication is great. He sent us videos and pictures during our dogs' stay with him. Also, his backyard is very suitable for dogs. Highly recommend.”

“Ashley was a great sitter for our pups. She was very friendly, had a clean and well maintained home, she communicated well throughout their stay. I wouldnt hesitate to let her watch them again.”

“Our dog Marley tends to be anxious in new situations since she was a shelter dog, but seemed comfortable in Amanda’s home the moment we walked in for drop off. It made me feel much better about leaving our newly adopted girl for over a week! She sent updates and pictures often while we were on vacation. Would not hesitate to use Amanda again for future dog sitting and will recommend her to my friends!”

“Olivia was absolutely wonderful. Remus has CCD that requires medication on a as needed basis. She was able to asses him the entire time and he actually needed less medication than normal while he was with her. She sent updates and pictures the entire time, and Remus came back tired and happy. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Chelsy did a great job caring for Hart. He's an older dog and shy around new people. She sent us oico and updates often and reassurance that he was doing well. We will be booking with Chelsy again soon!”

“Alayja was an amazing sitter. Even with our dog being nervous for his first visit she made sure he was comfortable and took care of him as if her own. She sent us pictures and videos throughout the stay and even gave him a bath before returning.”

“Savannah is the best. She really takes great care of my dog. She’s everything to me. My dog’s always so happy when she comes home and that means a lot to me I couldn’t ask for a better sitter or someone to leave my dog with when I’m away, she is by far the best in my eyes”

“Bradley graciously accepted a short notice booking for our dog Ghost. He was very communicative and responsive leading up to and throughout the boarding stay. Bradley’s dog Beaux is very sweet, gentle & got along well with Ghost. We 100% recommend Bradley for boarding.”

“An great experience all around. Jennifer was so easy and responsive through the entire time. She took time to really get to know my dog beforehand to ensure it was a good fit for everyone. My dog seemed so comfortable with her and I really appreciate her caring attitude. I definitely will use her again and again and highly recommend her!”

“Lauren accepted a last minute request to keep our Pom overnight. Lauren is always accommodating and very friendly. She treats our dog, Meryl, like she is her own. Lauren sent pics throughout her stay showing Meryl relaxed, playing outside, interacting with other dogs, and on walks. Lauren is a pro at caring for dogs.”

About: I grew up with a Yorkie and now care for him in his senior years with doggy dementia, which has taught me the importance of patience, gentle routines, and creating a calm, comforting environment. Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays I get out of class for 11 and am free for the rest of the day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little tougher for me due to my classes being scattered throughout the day. I enjoy taking them on walks, giving them baths, playing with them, cuddling with them, feeding and taking them out, and just having an emotional support animal around me!
“This family is absolutely amazing! They took such great care of my two dogs and it was a last minute booking! Atlas and Kira had such a good doggy vacation, I highly recommend booking with Kelbie!”

“Emery was wonderful, communicated a ton, took upon herself to brush her daily and take her to get her nails trimmed. So helpful and so kind and accommodating!! Highly recommend and we will be back!”

“Johanna and her family took excellent care of my dog, Beanie! She provided updates throughout my trip so I could see how well Beanie was doing. I felt almost guilty when I picked Beanie up, because it was so obvious that she’d developed a real bond with Johanna and her dogs. I highly recommend Johanna as a sitter. She is caring and communicative, and your furry family member will have a wonderful time!”

“This was my first time leaving Toto at home with anyone outside of family, and Lauren immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease knowing he was in good hands. She took great care of him, and Toto took to her right away, even laying on her and relaxing. It was clear he felt safe and happy. He spent the evening playing, cuddling, and getting plenty of rubs. I’m so grateful for the care she showed him and would absolutely trust her with Toto again.”

About: As a pet owner myself, I have experience with how to keep feeding routines, administer meds, walks, playtime, potty breaks, grooming and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m currently working remotely and part time. This leaves me plenty of time to care for pets on weekdays and weekends, throughout the day. Early mornings and late evenings are no problem. We have a private fenced in yard for those that need ample activity. Pets are cared for in the home but also have their own room for when they need a quiet corner.
“If you love your dog and want them to have the best possible care I fully recommend choosing Alex and her husband they did a fantastic job. My dog Domino had the time of his life and I couldn't thank them enough. I got photos and videos of my dog just having a ball playing with their dogs.”
