“Mars did a great job house and cat sitting for us. She is very reliable and her communication is excellent. She is quick to respond to texts and updated us every day. We will definitely be using her again! Highly recommend!”

“Taylor was good! Our boys seemed happy and well cared for. I had booked a house sitting but she was not able to be there overnight for more than 1 of the 3 nights. I wish this had been communicated a little better. She did stay for more time during the day, but I was looking for the overnight time period.”

“Rachel was very responsive in all communication and accommodating to all of my cat's needs and quirks! My cat is a scaredy cat and didn't come out much but Rachel still kept me updated on how everything was going. I'm really happy I found Rachel and will continue to use her services in the future!”

About: I’m a vet tech, I work with all types of animals, I can do toe nail trims, give baths, and give medications. I start vet school in the fall and am looking for extra cash I work at a vet clinic until end of July before vet school. I can do walks/house/pet sitting working around that schedule for now. For fall I would not be able to be house/pet sitting all day, but I can do before and after classes. Whatever the client needs is what I’ll do. Whether it is medications, baths, toe nail trims. Whatever routine your pet is used to, I will do in place of your absence!
“Emily was such an amazing pet sitter!! She sent lots of updates and photos and my pets looked so happy! I felt so relaxed on my trip knowing they were in good hands. Would definitely use again!”

“Vanessa does amazing with my high energy, anxious husky! He’s a lot to handle but she makes it look easy. She house sat for a week and when I came home he was the least anxious I’ve ever seen. Vanessa is dependable, kind and a hard worker. Highly recommend!”

About: I have been pet and house sitting for friends and family since I was 16 years old. I love animals (sometimes more than people). I can take care of all different types of needs that your beloved pet might have. Long walks, baths, morning and night time routines, special diets, etc. I have even taken care of a dog with diabetes before. I do not have much experience with other animals but I am a quick learner. I would love to take care of any pet you may have. I am a full time student at Oklahoma State University and I have a part time job that I work as well. I wouldn’t be gone from my house or yours any longer than the hours that would consist in a normal work or school day. I’m not normally gone that long but that is the longest I would be gone in a day. I have a pretty open schedule for the most part because a few of my classes are online. I don’t have any pets at home anymore. Sadly my childhood dogs passed away this summer and while I am not ready to get my own dog yet I still love taking care of animals! I kept a lot of their old things so I have plenty of toys, dog beds, and blankets that your animal would be welcome to use. I also have a dog door and fenced backyard that is available for use as well. The dog door can be shut or left open depending on what works best for your animal.
“Lindsey was wonderful with our 2 cats. They are both naturally friendly and a bit demanding when it is feeding time. Lindsey was able to allow them time to play outside and keep them company every night. She has been a great sitter!”

About: I bring a calm, reliable, and responsible approach to pet care. I focus on making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m consistent with routines like feeding, walks, and check-ins, and I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs and personality. I’m also attentive and patient with senior pets who may need a slower pace, extra care, or more frequent check-ins. What sets me apart is my reliability and attention to detail, I treat every pet like they’re part of a routine, not a task. Owners can expect clear communication, dependability, and a respectful approach to both their home and their pet’s well-being. I work a full-time job from 8–5, but I’m available for pet care outside of those hours. I can do early morning visits, evening care, and overnight stays depending on the pet’s needs and schedule. I also have full availability on weekends. I’m organized with my time and make sure pet care visits are consistent, unhurried, and reliable. When I commit to a booking, I plan my schedule carefully to ensure each pet gets proper attention and care. I provide pet care in the client’s home so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box or yard clean-up, medication (if needed), and any specific care preferences. I focus on creating a calm, reliable, and attentive visit each time, making sure pets feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I adjust my approach based on each pet’s personality, whether they are energetic, shy, social, or more independent. I also prioritize clear communication and provide updates so owners feel confident and informed. I make sure the home is secure after each visit and treat each client’s space with respect.
About: I have my own dog and cats, so I’m used to different personalities and energy levels. I’m reliable, patient, and make sure your pet is safe and cared for while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to check in, do walks, and spend quality time with pets throughout the day, evening and overnight! I care for pets based on what they’re used to. I follow their routine, make sure they’re fed, exercised, and comfortable, and give them attention based on their personality. I treat them like my own and keep you updated.
About: I've had a dog for as long as I can remember. Love them. I have watched many of my friends dogs as well. One of my best friends fosters many dogs and they are great trainers and I have learned a lot from them as well with training. My schedule is flexible so as long as I have a schedule ahead of time I can plan on helping on the weekday or weekends. I am loyal and on time so you can trust me with your babies. I will give lots of hugs and kisses and can get them out to play as well.

“SJ was very good at communicating and sending pictures and text updates. She was good with our animals and very patient with multiple texts when one of our cats went walkabout(they are indoor/outdoor). She eventually came back💜. Her prices are fair according to your needs. We needed house sitting and that was hard to find for 12 days. Thankfully SJ was available and reliable. We are grateful for her help because that is a long time to leave your fur babies.”

About: From fur to feathers to scales, I have years of hands on animal care experience through personal pet care and professional wildlife hospital and zoo work. I’m currently a wildlife biology graduate student at OSU, and my background has made me very comfortable observing animal behavior, following detailed care routines, and noticing small changes in an animal’s comfort or health. What sets me apart is my reliability, patience, and attention to detail. I’m comfortable caring for active dogs, shy pets, and animals that need a calm, consistent routine. I’m happy to follow specific feeding, walking, medication, or enrichment instructions and will always keep owners updated while they’re away. Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine because my schedule as a graduate student is flexible and varies by day. I’m often able to offer morning, afternoon, and evening visits depending on my class, lab, and fieldwork schedule. I’m happy to coordinate with owners ahead of time to make sure their pet’s routine is followed as closely as possible. I’m especially available for drop in visits, dog walks, and house sitting, and I’m comfortable building pet care around feeding schedules, medication times, walks, playtime, and regular check ins. Safety and trust are very important to me, and I always want pets and owners to feel comfortable. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding routines, medication, walking preferences, crate use, litter box care, and any house rules. I make sure doors, gates, crates, and leashes are secure, and I always double check that pets are safe before I leave. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort level, especially with shy, nervous, or high energy animals. I’m patient and will never force interaction if a pet needs space. I’m also happy to send regular updates, photos, and notes so owners know how their pet is doing while they’re away. For walks and drop ins, I prioritize safe handling, secure leashing, and following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible.
About: I have been around dogs my whole life !! I currently have two dogs of my own as well. I do some dog training. Sit, stay, lay, shake, crate training, and potty training. I work full time however I get two breaks and only work Monday-Thursday. I work from 8-5 and take a break at 1130 and 2:30. I live in a house and have a closed in fence. I take my dogs for a walk or run every day and will play fetch or tug of war with them in the yard. The dogs get lots of outside time and my girls love having new friends to play with! A kennel is not required but I do ask if you have one to bring it. Since we have our own dogs and also board more than one dog we put them up in the kennel when going to sleep at night.

About: I have grown up around both cats and dogs of all sizes and personalities. I was raised with German Shepherds, so I am very familiar with working and protection breeds and understand how to read their body language, respect boundaries, and build trust properly. I volunteer at the humane society where I work with a wide variety of dogs and cats, including high-energy, shy, and more reactive animals. This has helped me learn how to adapt to each pet’s needs and personality. I have experience caring for large dogs (100+ lbs), small breeds, puppies, senior dogs, and cats. I have also fostered a pit bull, which gave me experience managing higher-energy dogs that need structure, patience, and mental stimulation. I am comfortable administering medications, caring for pets after procedures like spay/neuter, and handling both playful and more reserved animals. I pay close attention to behavior, routines, and small details to make sure pets stay happy, safe, and comfortable. I am currently a full time student but my schedule is flexible and open. I can check mornings briefly but afternoons and evenings I can spend more time! I have both cats and a dog, so I’m very used to maintaining a consistent routine and making sure pets get the attention, care, and structure they need. I follow feeding schedules closely and always make time for play, exercise, and affection. I understand that pets can feel stressed when their owners are away, so I focus on creating a calm, comfortable environment and keeping their routine as normal as possible. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe and cared for at all times.
About: I have lots of experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I’ve raised and cared for my own dogs for many years; and have also sat and helped train the pets of friends and relatives. I currently have two dogs of my own, who I have owned and trained since they were puppies. So no matter the size or age, I am prepared to direct my full attention to loving and caring for your doggy! I am a recently graduated student who will be going back to school after the summer is over. I can shape my schedule very freely so I can care for pets at whatever time works best for you! I live on a well fenced and neatly kept three acre property just outside of Stillwater. I have two male dogs: a Black Lab named Ollie, and an Ozzie named Blue. Both of which can keep your pup company, as they are very friendly, laid back, and get along great with other dogs. Since I already have dogs that live with me, my home has all the amenities necessary to care for them!
“Jessie watched our two dogs for a couple of days while we were out of town. The power went out at night while she was here and she managed the situation very well. Our dogs looked happy and healthy upon our return. We would definitely recommend her.”

FAQs for House Sitting - Morrison
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 98 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Morrison. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Morrison walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Morrison maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Morrison choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
