About: I have dog sat all types of dogs biggest being a Great Dane and the smallest a Chihuahua. I am very open to dog sitting any dog! I am currently working full time at the college of dentistry but I get off work at 5 everyday and have weekends and holidays off. About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was a baby and grew up visiting my grandpa’s farm in the country! My family also had cats, and I had four fish growing up! About: Starting in 2020, I spent a few years on the road doing a variety of gigs, primarily animal transportation. I got to see the entire country and meet a ton of awesome animals - mostly dogs & puppies, but rabbits, kitties, lizards, too. I have since planted my flag in Galesburg, IL, and am hoping to build up a clientele of regular check-ins here in this area as I build a home for myself off the road. I am happy to book new clients through Rover, but I do most of my gigs through direct booking after the initial sit. Since Rover keeps 20% of a sitter's fee, please consider tipping in full to make up the difference. Upon meeting new clients, I would like to let folks know that it is common courtesy to compensate a potential sitter if they are traveling from out of town for a meet & greet. It is not expected but greatly appreciated to offer to stock the fridge for overnights, especially for longer sits. These are things I have learned from my favorite clients, families that have taught me how to make a happy living caring for their beloved households. Dogsitting is what I do for a living. I don't mind driving out of town for overnight gigs with appropriate compensation. Just ask and let's see what we can set up. For overnights, I like to keep handwritten notes throughout the day and have little photoshoots here and there. About: I love both dogs and cats like their my own. I have 20+ years experience with caring for pets. I have experience with walking, bathing, brushing, and playing with cats and dogs. I have a day time job Monday-Friday 8-4:30pm. I would be able to take the dogs out before work, and when I get home. My husband works from home 2-3 days a week and would be available to be home to take care of your fur baby during every Thursday and Friday. On the weekends, I am able to take dogs out at at least every 2-4 hours. Thursdays/Fridays, my husband will be helping me with potty breaks while I am at my day job. I do not have a fenced in area, but will take your fur-baby out as often as needed between my husband and I both. We will use a leash to keep your pet safe!
