“Sammi was the best! She obviously cares about animals and treats pet sitting as more than a job. She provided great updates and spent lots of time with our kitties. She also tried lots of ways to give our cat Mac his medicine even though he is stubborn. She did a great job giving him his daily transdermal meds too. We will definitely request her every time we go out of town!”

“Stephanie is so good with Yuna! She was able to come on short notice and is very communicative. Yuna loves her and we are grateful for all the love she gets while I’m working!”

“I had a great experience with Alaska! She walked my dog Luke, who is very high energy, and made sure he got his potty break. She was always on time, super responsive to messages, and kept me updated with great communication throughout. It gave me real peace of mind knowing Luke was in such good hands. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and experienced sitter.”

“Taylor is an excellent communicator! I know Kona is in good hands when we are away. 10/10 would recommend Taylor to help take care of your fur babies. :) She's the best!!”

About: Animals were my first passion since I was very young and their welfare continues to be something I care deeply about. I studied veterinary medicine in college and have experience working in an animal hospital. Therefore I have been trained to administer any medications or special dietary requirements as your pet may need as them. I have been pet sitting for over 4 years now as well and love meeting new animals! I am a full time student so my schedule is not super flexible, but I am available all day Saturday - Monday, Fridays after 11 AM, and Tuesdays and Thursdays after 5 PM. I understand that pets thrive in their schedules and will do anything I can to fit into their routine as it is. It’s very important to me that you and your pet are as comfortable and relaxed as can be in your time apart, so I am very open to any requests regarding regular safety or care routines. I will take care of and attend to your pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel loved.

“Savannah has been amazing! She met with us before our trip, and she’s been 100% consistent while we’ve been gone. She even added on a visit. We will definitely rebook.”

“It was the first time we were using Rover and were skeptical. So, we had a meet and greet with Stephanie and noticed our cat feels comfortable with her and we are glad we chose Stephanie. She very well took care of our cat for 5 days, made bond with him and sent daily photos/report of him. We felt very comfortable leaving our cat with her and definitely will ask her to sit him in future and recommend her for cat sitting.”

“Christine filled in for our regular pet carer and did an excellent job. Pleasant and flexible, she covered care for our cats and fish (including pond fish) and a couple last-minute unexpected minor tasks. We would recommend her highly to anyone seeking a loving and competent pet carer.”

“Taylor is fantastic! We felt that our fur babies were in great hands. She’s super caring, attentive, and she gave us updates on the animals the entire time we were gone. Cannot thank her enough ?”

“This was the first time we have left our cat at home for this long. Skyler was a Godsend. She was reassuring, efficient and more than capable for our quirky fur baby. I felt comfortable having her in our home. Our cat warmed up to her on our first meeting. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Arabella was great! She was conveniently close to where I lived and was amazing with my pup Leo. She also was helpful and willing to clean his crate out when he had accidents. I know that’s expected/part of the job but still can not be fun obviously.”

“Julia was great! Very communicative both before and during her drop in, attentive to the instructions given, sent pictures of the pups from her stop, and made sure everything was secure and safe following her visit. All you can ask for from a rover. Thank you Julia!”

About: I have taken care of my 14 year old black lab since she was a puppy and she is now a senior dog. I also have a 1 year old german shepherd puppy who is very high energy. I have experience in giving oral medication and training. I am currently in graduate school for occupational therapy and am taking some time off. My schedule is clear and I’m available most days and nights. I take my own dog for three 1 hour walks a day and cater to his high energy personality. I also am able to provide mental enrichment and a safe atmosphere for your pet.

“Jacqueline did a great job feeding and loving my two cats while I was away! The shy cat even came out to say hi to her! The photos she took of the cats were great to see.”

“Katy did such a great job! I appreciated the video call beforehand so we could walk through things and get a feel for who would be watching our dog while we were away. She was timely with her check-ins, took time to give him some love, and left a detailed review of how he was doing. We felt at ease while we were away knowing our dog was in good hands and came home to a happy and healthy pup!”

About: What sets me apart is my experience, reliability, and genuine love for dogs. I’m a 21-year-old exercise physiology student who loves being active and outdoors—walking dogs is the perfect combo! I’ve dog sat and walked for many families and have two Australian Shepherds of my own, Georgia and Ruby, who I miss dearly while at school. I’ve also volunteered with hospice patients and babysat my whole life, so I’m comfortable with responsibility and care. Whether your dog is playful, shy, young, or senior—I’ll treat them like family! Pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine! I’m a senior at WVU with a flexible internship and classes only a few days a week. I’m available Tuesday and Thursday after 11, Wednesdays until 3, Fridays until 2, and weekends until 3. I love being outside and staying active, so walking and caring for dogs is something I truly enjoy and easily make time for in my schedule. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I treat them like family. I always prioritize their routine, comfort, and safety—whether that means sticking to their feeding schedule, giving them plenty of outdoor time, or just being a calming presence. I make sure they get lots of love, attention, and exercise, especially since I enjoy being active myself. I also keep pet parents updated with photos and messages so they know their furry friend is in good hands!

“I’ve known Melanie for a long time, and I can honestly say she’s one of the most reliable and hard-working people I’ve ever met. She’s goes to school at WVU and somehow manages to juggle a packed schedule while still giving 100% to everything she does. She’s super independent, smart, and really driven—once she sets her mind to something, she makes it happen. On top of all that, she’s amazing with animals. She’s always had a natural connection with dogs and takes care of them with a lot of love and attention. I’ve seen firsthand how patient and caring she is, and I know she’d treat any dog like her own (Scout). If you're looking for someone you can truly trust with your pet, she’s the one.”
