“My babies had never stayed with anyone overnight other than family so I was nervous at the thought of leaving the girls but after finding Myra on this site & meeting her we were at ease. Jessie & Lou Lou liked her right away & her home is set up to easily keep fur babies. Myra kept in touch with us while the girls were at her home & they both seemed very happy when we picked them up. We’ll definitely contact her the next time & we do recommend Myra.”

“Laura was wonderful with our mini Bernedoodle! We felt so comfortable knowing that he was in a safe and happy environment. She sent us texts and photos throughout his stay so that we could keep up with how he was doing. We will definitely call on Laura the next time we are in the area! 5 stars!!”

“Wonderful experience! Jill was able to take in our pup on very short notice when we had our pet sitter cancel. From pictures, he definitely looked like he had a great time playing in her yard! Highly recommend!”

“Karen and Terry are awesome! They took care of my two shih tzus, who are not very socialized with other dogs, and they did awesome with them. I was so much more comfortable and at ease knowing they were with someone all the time, rather than being boarded and alone and separated most of the time. Karen also sent pics and videos the whole time and that was so nice to have. When I picked them up I could tell Opie and Tori had been very well cared for, and they were happy! You can definitely see that they are animal lovers and care for them as their own. I am so happy to have found them and will definitely not hesitate to use them the next time I can't take my babies with me. Thank you Karen and Terry! 5 Stars All The Way!”

“Bethany and her family were such a blessing to us! We were traveling for 10 days and each day we received updates and photos that let us know our babygirl was in excellent hands. It was so nice to have no worries while we were away. We will reqch out again for future reservations!”

“Such a great and reliable sitter. Was able to do a last minute reservation and pick up both my dog and cat and bring them back!! Has a huge fenced in yard so my dog can play all day w other dogs. Kept the cats litter box so clean I didn’t even have to change it when they brought it back. Was able to extend a two day reservation on a day to day basis up to 5 days as we were moving and our schedule was erratic. Natalie and her husband are truly the best”

“This was our first visit and the first time my dog has ever been boarded. Kathleen was wonderful—she sent pictures and letting me know that Kenzie was doing fine…which really helped put my mind at ease. She went out of her way to make both me and my Kenzie feel comfortable about being apart. So grateful for the care and thoughtfulness!”

“We had a sitter lined up that cancelled last minute and Charles stepped up to help. He responded quickly to my request and was easy to communicate with. I could tell within a few minutes of meeting him that my pup was in good hands and was going to be well cared for. Charles took the best care of my dog. Charles is very nice, caring and friendly.”
“If you have a dog with needs, or just a dog you love, I would highly recommend Rachel and Donald to you! It was such a blessing to go on vacation and not worry about my pet! My dog is old, blind and deaf, so I do worry when I go on vacation. If I am not near, he gets very anxious. And it is hard for him to navigate a new place. But after our meet and greet, my own anxiety began to leave. Rachel and Donald sent more than one daily update with pictures. For once, I was not in a hurry to get back home! When I picked him up, he acted like he would have been fine to stay longer. I could tell they loved on and cared for my dog as well as I do. I will definitely use Rachel and Donald every time I go out of town. Again, if you have a dog with needs, or just a dog you love, I would highly recommend Rachel and Donald to you.”

“Was very nice and attentive to my girl and was kind enough to humor me when I had a last minute change of plans it defiantly helps that he lives near by lol will defiantly think of him next time I need a sitter.”

“I booked this boarding stay last-minute, after our initial pet care plan fell through, but it really couldn’t have worked out better! Valentine and her family were so great with my pup, Rocky. They kept her safe and busy while my husband and I participated in a friend’s wedding festivities. I felt confident leaving Rocky with Valentine, and I would definitely book again if ever back in the area. She’s caring and knows what she’s doing with animals, for sure.”

About: Picture this: you love your working breed dog... but they can be a boarder's nightmare. Does it make you nervous that they won't get enough stimulation while you're away? You can rest assured dogs with me will get 2-3 miles of trails a day along with 2+ hours (more on weekends!) of supervised play time with an equally energetic husky. Along with structured crate time to decompress. I've dealt with the worst of leash pullers and have trained my own dogs with high expectations of good behavior. You don't have to worry about your pup loosing manners or reverting to bad behaviors while you're away! I can reinforce proper training while he/she enjoys vacation at a beautiful hideaway with miles of private woods, right on the lake for some water play when it's hot! Your pet's schedule: 7-9am: breakfast! 1-2 miles of trails 9-12pm: crate time with options of mental stimulation toys and food toys 12-1pm: potty break and inside or outside supervised play time with my dog 1-5pm: crate time 5pm: dinner time and evening walks 6pm-bedtime: supervised time around the house, options to interact with other pets, myself, household members. Bedtime: crate or bed if they prefer Note: this is based on my regular daily work schedule for weekdays and weekends. Some flexibility on time frames, excersize amounts, etc are possible. Just ask and let's see if can work something out! I have a high focus on making sure every animal gets adequate amounts of physical and mental stimulation. If your dog has needs outside of what I have listed, let's have a conversation! Crating is required while I or my husband is not in the house. Your dog will be crated in a low stimulation environment away from other animals for proper decompression time. And will never be longer than 4 hours during the day.
“Best dog sitter we've ever had. Our dog seemed to love all the other animals and Tanya gave our dog Bummer extra attention. Bummer may have found a second home. Thank you so much!”

About: Reliable and detailed oriented! I will get to know their personal needs , personality, and what works for them! Your pets second favorite human lol I am a body piercer. I work 10 minutes away from my home. I have a set time to take my puppy out as he is still going through potty training My apartment is pretty open for the fur babies to room around and I have a small fur baby of my own that can play with! There is a big area of grass around my complex where they can go potty and play and a dog park right up the street.
“Siera was so sweet and accommodating! We had an unexpected need for doggie care and Siera was quick to respond and made herself available the same day. Our dog seemed happy and cared for and she sent a photo to us for reassurance.”
“Cosmo had a few of his happiest days with Jessica, Doug and their family. He bonded with their pups and got to play chase and football on their spacious property. He’s already asking to hang out with Sky and George, their two pups, again! Jessica and Doug went out of their way to keep me updated with pictures. I felt at ease the whole time.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Morganton
Meghan was so sweet and very attentive to our elder dog. She has a hard time being away from home but Meghan made sure she was comfortable and gave her lots of love! Our dog also rarely eats when she is boarded but she was comfortable enough to eat most of her meals, that’s huge for her! I will definitely use Meghan again 😊😊😊

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
