About: Hi, I’m Aleigha! I’ve been caring for dogs for over 11 years, providing love and reliable care for friends and family. Now, I’m excited to take this passion to the next level by offering my services professionally on Rover. As a certified dog groomer, I bring extra knowledge and experience to every visit—whether it’s reading a dog’s body language, keeping them clean and comfortable, or simply making them feel safe and loved. I understand that every dog is unique and deserves personalized attention, whether we’re out on a walk or snuggled up after playtime. Your dog’s happiness, health, and safety are my top priorities, and I’d be honored to be part of their care team! I work full time, several of those days are remote from home. If you need my services on days that I’m in the office, my husband works from home full time and can provide care during that time if approved by you. I am available on the weekends for any services and love spending that time at home with the pups to ensure they have plenty of outdoor time and snuggles :) I live in a gated community with a fenced in dog park and 2 fur babies of my own to keep yours company + add some extra fun to playtime. I do require dogs to be leashed while on walks to ensure safety. For sitting in your home, I ask that any special instructions be provided such as outdoor/potty needs, food sensitivities/ special directions with feeding, and any other necessary information that would make their time more comfortable such as anxieties or sleeping preferences.

“Gabrielle's care of my cat Hari puts me in awe. Hari has been my pet as an indoor / outdoor cat for only 6 weeks. He is a newly socialized, formerly feral cat who went through the T & R process about 4 years ago. Before I adopted him from a neighbor (who had rescued him and his many brothers), Hari had never spent a night inside house. Over the past 6 weeks, he has learned to eat and play in the house and stay cuddled up in bed for part the night. But this routine and my bond with him are new. I had a great concern that he would fee abandoned, even with Gabrielle's daily visits to make sure he had wet food and fresh water to accompany his kibble in a gravity feeder. Besides making sure he was well fed, Gabrielle called him in each day, genuinely connected with him, and gave him an abundance of highly effective attention. She is skilled in the light touch therapy Jenn Shin Jyutsu, and I've arrived home to a calmer, more integrated Hari. He was not only well cared for by Gabrielle. He is transformed into more of a house cat with a love of the outdoors. I feel that his bond with his new home has been strengthened.”

About: Raised in a household passionate about animals, I have cherished a lifelong love for pets. Growing up amidst a family devoted to breeding cats and dogs, our home was always filled with furry companions. As a child, I delighted in participating in junior dog shows, creating enduring memories of those early experiences. Presently, our household is graced by the presence of a delightful poodle mix who brings immense joy to our lives. I would be honored to provide loving care for your beloved pet while you're away. Having recently been laid off from my corporate position, I am now eagerly dedicating myself to this new career path. With no young children to care for, I have the flexibility to fully commit to this endeavor. I provide a safe, cozy environment filled with cuddles, walks, and games for my buddy, and I plan to offer the same for yours. Known for my calming effect on animals, many approach me without hesitation. Your companion will find the same welcoming atmosphere in my care.

About: I’ve taken care of and loved many types of animals over the years. I treat them like the family members that they are. Pretty certain that our Bo doesn’t realize he’s a dog. 😂 I love all animals and would love to have more so helping others care for their pets will allow me to have more animals to love in my life I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am able to create my own schedule so having the time for pet sitting, walking, care…. won’t be an issue. Full transparency, I do not have a fenced yard but have a very large screened porch on the rear of our house. I take our dog on walks daily and he enjoys time on the back porch, but don’t leave him out there unattended. Only when we’re out there with him, which is often.

“Great communication during care!”

“My cat Luna is very slow to warm up to people and has a habit of attacking when I’m not there. Morgan was amazing and worked with us for a few weeks prior to my trip to let Luna get to know her and has been very patient with her moods while I’ve been gone. It’s been such a relief to be able to have someone check in on her while I’m gone!”

“Cat was alive when I left. Cat was alive when I returned. ? Seriously, Michela did a great job and I hope she's available when I go on my next adventure.”

“Alyssa is amazing!! This is the first time we’ve left our kitties for an extended period of time, and she’s been so great with them. Very communicative, knows what she’s doing, and accommodating! I will definitely be hiring her again!”

About: Thank you for visiting my profile! After more than 20 years of touring as a classical musician - as well as managing my own music company - I decided to retire in 2015 and a more tranquil pace in my life. I started traveling around the world and was blessed with the loving company of animals along the way during more than 50 house and farm sits. While traveling I started writing and publishing books, which means I'm spending a lot of time home writing, so your fur babies will get a lot of love and attention. I'm very experienced with dogs of all sizes and absolutely LOVE cats. Had many sits with large numbers of animals - 6-7 frequently, on a farm sit even 17 once - so larger numbers are no problem. You will get daily pictures and videos of your babies and my response time is usually within minutes. Can't wait to hear from you & meet your furry friends! Thank you for reading my profile! Very flexible schedule. I work from home, writing books, running a blog and creating online courses, so will give plenty of company to your fur babies :) While working on my laptop there is usually a kitty or 2 next to me or on my lap. Love cuddling, playing and enjoying precious fur baby time. Cats are my passion.

“I've known Melissa for decades, and she has always had a heart for rescuing and caring for animals - whether or not they are "traditional" pets. Her pets have always been considered a family member, and she takes their care and maintenance as seriously. She has cared for our dog when we've traveled as well. I highly endorse her as a person and as a caretaker of anyone's pet!”
