About: I have one dog, she's an 8 year old pit bull named Cali, the sweetest girl! Former veterinary tech for 5 years and have been watching family and friends pets ever since. I work from home, which offers flexibility to provide exceptional care for your pet! Pet Care is my top priority, I have no children and am unmarried. “I wish I could give her higher than 5 stars. At our first meeting to see if her and my Archer would get along and be friends she was wonderful. She asked questions from me to get an understanding of his care but more importantly she was letting Archer interact with her. I was a bit nervous because he’s still a baby and teething and I was worried about his biting. She was very professional about it. The other main reason why I wanted Kayla to look after him is she is a Vet Tech and I knew if there was any kind of an emergency she would be calm and know exactly what to do. She gave us wonderful picture updates of him playing and snuggling with her and I was so happy he was being a good boy. Kayla is absolutely amazing and I can say with 100% confidence that I will be using her again. I cannot thank Kayla enough for taking such wonderful care of Archer and giving me peace of mind while I was on my trip.”
About: Where do I begin... Dogs hold a place close to my heart! I have owned dogs for OVER 10 years and I have never met one that hasn't made a good impression on me for life. My experience ranges from elderly care to puppies/teenage years, female and male dogs! No two animals are alike, therefore care looks different for everyone and I believe each pet deserves to experience quality care away from their owner. Fun fact: my mom still calls me the dog whisperer like the show haha On my weekends I do have availability for Fridays (5:30-8pm) And Saturday -Sunday (10am-8pm) **Weekdays after 5:30pm can be discussed if needed by the owner(s)** My pets were crate trained, so I'm familiar with that aspect! About: I have grown up with many different breeds of dogs and cats and has been the main person to take care of them in my household. I have been in charge of animals since elementary school, and I am going to school to be a veterinary technician. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to take care of you babies and walk them until they are happy. I’ll spend time outside with them rather than simply opening the door and leaving them alone. If your pet is allowed on furniture or sleeps in a certain spot, I’m happy to follow the same household rules you use. My goal is to keep things familiar, safe, and low-stress while giving your pet plenty of attention and companionship. In addition to following your pet’s routine and safety instructions closely, I carry independent pet-care liability insurance and bonding for added peace of mind.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
