“I wish I could give her higher than 5 stars. At our first meeting to see if her and my Archer would get along and be friends she was wonderful. She asked questions from me to get an understanding of his care but more importantly she was letting Archer interact with her. I was a bit nervous because he’s still a baby and teething and I was worried about his biting. She was very professional about it. The other main reason why I wanted Kayla to look after him is she is a Vet Tech and I knew if there was any kind of an emergency she would be calm and know exactly what to do. She gave us wonderful picture updates of him playing and snuggling with her and I was so happy he was being a good boy. Kayla is absolutely amazing and I can say with 100% confidence that I will be using her again. About: Hi! I’m Ally, and I’ve always had such a big love for animals! I previously worked at Dogtopia, a dog daycare, where I spent my days caring for dogs of all different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I was responsible for supervising playgroups, making sure everyone was safe, and giving each dog the attention and care they needed. That experience taught me so much about working with different dogs and understanding their behaviors. I also had to take a course to know learn behaviors and when to read their responses, as well as when to know when they are all types of sick or injuries. I genuinely love spending time with animals and will always treat your pets like they’re my own! I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets with someone, and I would love to be someone you can trust to keep them happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! I’m currently a college student here in Wilmington and also play soccer! My schedule is pretty flexible outside of classes and practices i have morning practice that ends at 9 and then only one in person class on mondays. So I have time throughout the week and on weekends to care for your pets. I love spending time with animals and would be more than happy to work with you to find times that fit both of our schedules! About: I have 3 years of personal experience taking care and watching animals especially dogs. I have a black lab who I love dearly and I will love your pets like they are my own. I also have experience of watching more than one dog at the same time. I have grown up with dogs and have been around dogs my whole life. I will take your dogs on long walks and play ball or frisbee with your dog if that is something they will like to do. Also if your dog needs to be brushed I will also brush your dog too. And last I am a very reliable and responsible person and I will make sure your pets are safe and taken care of. I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule and I am able to leave and go any time I need too. I am available all the time. I care for a 6 year old black lab who I have had since he was 3 months old and he has a structured routine but also gets lots of treats and bones. About: I have taken care of animals for the majority of my life whether that be nursing stray kittens back to health, assembling special meals for my dogs specific health requirements, or pet and house sitting for friends and family members so they could take a well needed vacation. I have always held a deep love for animals and a career where I can be around them all day sounds more like a dream than a job. While not a certified dog trainer I do have experience with training puppies for small tricks such as sit, place, stay, down, etc. and would be happy to teach your fur baby as I take care of them. As a full time student I have a very open schedule with asynchronous classes that allow me to be there when your fur baby requires. I make sure to keep my pets on a regular schedule with grooming, food, vet visits and play sessions so they may have the best experiences as they grow and develope.

About: I’ve had and taken care of many pets since i was about 14. I love animals and have a passion for them which is why I do it. I recently got a high energy boy dog so he is with me for boarding/walks but LOVES to play with other animals and is the sweetest boy. I can always drop in/take your baby on walk without him if needed. I have a boyfriend who lives with me so is at my home for boarding (he’s also a huge animal lover) but won’t be with me on walks, sitting, etc. I have a house with a large fenced in backyard for potty breaks! I hope you choose me to take care of your fur baby while you’re away! I take my dog on walks and play with him/throw the ball for him MULTIPLE times a day because he’s incredibly energetic. We’re always outside on some sort on adventure. I ensure that I have an eye on the animal at all times especially when outside. I’m more than happy to take extra precautions to ensure that your fur baby is safe!
About: I have experience in giving cats their medicine! Pills, ointments in the ear, and food! I also have experience in cleaning the litter box, changing a water machine, and giving cats baths! I am currently in school, and I am working part time! To take care your baby, I will stop by at least three times a day to feed, play, and snuggle! I have a pet at home as well! I prefer to take care of your pet at their house! I first, make their meal (as needed). While they are eating, I usually scoop the liter and do everything the owners have asked me to do in their home! Then, I give them treat or medicine (if applicable) and play with them for a while!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
