“Devinder has helped us a couple of times while we were on vacation. He is reliable and I feel that my doggies are well care for while I am away.”

“Riley was fantastic! We are new at this (first family dog) as we have a puppy and Riley was a huge help to jump in at the last minute. She was kind enough to fit us in her already tightly booked schedule as we were in a huge bind! She updated throughout the day with pictures and videos. Thanks Riley!! We will definitely contact her again!”

“Kade was SO great with Kelso! This was my first time using Rover and I felt so much better knowing my pup was in good hands. Kade is very communicative, sent lots of pics, and went above and beyond - taking a package in and making sure my pup Kelso has enough water. Definitely recommend!!”

“Tatum was extremely helpful and sweet for looking out for my two dogs especially on short notice! She was great with following all of my instructions and I couldn’t be more grateful to have her walk my dogs! I would highly recommend Tatum to anyone looking for a new dog walker!”

“Kate made our first Rover experience amazing. Our dog was well taken care of with a great walk and feeding. The pics we got were super thoughtful and it was really comforting to see our pup so happy while we were gone. Highly recommend her and will be rebooking when needed! Thanks so much Kate!”

“Maria and Luis provided excellent care for our 15.5 year old dog. They gave her the slow walks she needed, food and medicine. She was very content when we got home after a 7-day getaway. I highly recommend them.”

“Lila was great! I appreciated her flexibility with our schedule. Our tour of campus ended late and she was very gracious about being with Lilly until we got back. Our dog enjoyed her time with her and she took great care of her. Thank you Lila!”

“I cannot recommend Sierra highly enough! My dog, Mickey, ran down the hall to meet her on her second visit. He’s never done that. She obviously had Mickey’s seal of approval immediately. Sierra is conscientious, very communicative, and extremely kind. She has my complete trust and respect, because she treats Mickey as if he were her own. To me that is the absolute best quality in a dog walker! Choosing Sierra as your dog walker is the absolute correct decision! Having Sierra walk your dog will keep you worry free and happy while your pup gets good exercise, has fun and is treated like family 😃”

“I’m so glad I found Candace, she’s the most communicative and responsive sitter! Appreciate her availability last minute this week for two walks while I was out of town.”

About: I love absolutely love dogs! I work from home as a Generative AI associate so my schedule is very flexible and ideal for taking care of your dog when you're busy or away. I'm available mornings, afternoons, or evenings, basically whenever you need. And my apartment is located in Shockhoe Bottom near two parks, ideal for walks. I grew up with Lhasa Apso pups (Cassie and Teddy) and have been dog-sitting and dog-walking for about 5 years. I've taken care of a variety of breeds, ranging from a Chinese crested to a boxer-pitbull mix. I'm a very compassionate, gentle, and patient person. I love spending time with dogs and look forward to meeting yours! :) I work from home, so pet care fits into my schedule super easily. I can take dogs out for potty breaks and walks as needed. I live in an apartment, so my living situation better aligns with smaller dog breeds. But park proximity still allows for walks and outside time.

About: Hello there! My name is Sammy and I have been around animals all of my life and they have inspired me in so many different ways. I have been managing doggy daycare/boarding facilities for a little over 3 years now so I guess you can say pet care is my specialty! I am dog and cat CPR certified, certified through the DHA (dog handler academy),I know how to give injections, and my knowledge on dog behavior is quite extensive. I have decided to go back to school as well which is why my schedule is so open. Currently I own a 2 year old Golden Retriever as well as the cutest cat ever that are both my world. I hope you decide to let me into your pets heart as I treat every pet like my own. ~Wags & Wiggles, Sammy🐾 I am going back to school which means I have a very open schedule. I am also pretty flexible with times and last minute bookings. When it comes to a clients home,I always like for us to meet before I start my services so everyone feels more comfortable. I will also provide pictures for my clients of your fur baby & I having a good time!

“Sydney has been walking our two dogs for a couple of weeks now. They're big, high energy pups that clearly adore her visits. Her communication and reliability have been excellent.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember.. Growing up with everything from cats and dogs to rabbits, spiders, ferrets and even the occasional rescue critter. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I truly feel at home when I’m surrounded by furry friends. I absolutely adore cats! Their quirky personalities & quiet cuddles melt my heart & I love the energy & companionship dogs bring. Whether it’s playtime, long walks, or just keeping your pet company while you’re away, I treat every animal with the same love & care I give my own. My schedule has its quirks, but it works in your pet’s favor! Tuesdays and Thursdays are actually my most flexible days, perfect for morning and evening walks or extended hangouts with your furry companion. As a full-time grad student and part-time social worker, my hours can be a little unpredictable but I always make time for what matters. Even with a busy calendar, caring for animals is a priority I never push aside. Whether it’s a midday drop-in or a sunset stroll, I’m happy to fit in the love and attention your pet deserves. Safety, trust, and a calm environment are at the heart of the care I provide. Whether I’m coming to your home for a walk, a cuddle session, or staying for an overnight house sit, I treat your space and your pets with the utmost respect and care. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your furry family member in someone else’s hands, and I take that responsibility seriously. I follow any routines you’ve set, keep their environment clean and peaceful, and make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved at all times. Whether it’s daily check-ins, long walks, or overnight companionship, I show up with patience, attention, and genuine care.

“Erin was very responsive, friendly and attentive to my dogs needs. She was able to come during the middle of the day to give my girl a nice walk around the neighborhood and even played with her inside a bit before heading out. My dog loved my time with her!”

“Cat has been a godsend in helping take care of my dogs! They look happy & relaxed in all her pics. Cat has been very reliable and flexible when plans changed last minute. Thanks Cat!”

“I forgot to book my walks for the week and I work 12 hour shifts, so it is imperative that my tiny guy ( who refuses to go inside on puppy pads) be taken out. Bridgette saved the day, even with such short notice. My dog also loves her. I definitely recommend her to anyone.”
