About: I've been a pet parent for as long as I can remember! I grew up around various dog breeds and other exotic pets so I'm well versed in pet personalities! I've worked in 3 doggy daycares over the past 5 years and have loved every second of it ! I'm able to administrator medication as well to senior or special care pets ! Currently working a few side gigs so my schedule is super flexible! I'm an early bird and can be there as needed but tend not to be around too late at night. I'd love to have​ your furry friend as part of my daily routine ! I'm used to different sized dogs so wrangling them into crates or rooms as needed is no problem ! About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was 6 years old and I've always had a passion for animals, so much so I wanted to make it a career path for myself. I'm available after 10:30am on Wednesday Saturday and Tuesday Thursday and Friday after 4:30. On walks we can head to the Janesville dog park for the trails or stroll around town depending on your location. If your dog is safe off leash we can even throw in a game of fetch for added running benefits! I can care for more than just dogs, too! As a child, I took on dog training experience through my local 4-H group and pursued that for a large portion of my early education career. Over the years, we’ve provided both professional pet sitting and helped out friends and family—whether for short getaways or extended vacations. I’m a full-time stay-at-home mom and an animal lover! 🐾 My husband and I offer boarding for most dog sizes, and our home is always filled with love, play, and plenty of tail wags. We live on about 3 acres in beautiful El Dorado Hills, complete with a creek and a securely fenced portion of the yard where dogs can run freely, play fetch, splash in the water, or simply enjoy the fresh air. This setup gives your pup plenty of outdoor time in a safe and natural environment. We have two friendly, medium-sized dogs of our own—Mochi, a 4-year-old Golden Retriever, and Mila, a 2-year-old Goldendoodle. Both are fixed, gentle, and love having other dogs around. They enjoy playdates, cuddles, and are wonderful with our children (ages 17, 8, and 6). Our dogs are indoor dogs and have the run of our hardwood-floored downstairs. We use baby gates to separate carpeted areas, and there’s a designated, cozy sleeping space for your pup. Dogs are always supervised, both inside and out. We’re home full time, so your dog will get constant care, attention, and love. We’re also flexible—we understand that plans can change, and we’re happy to work with you to adjust as needed. We welcome dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. Whether your pup loves fetch, water play, or just lounging, we’re here to make sure they have a fun, safe, and loving stay. Dogs are never left outside unattended. • Breakfast: Between 6:30–8:00 AM • Post-Breakfast Potty: About 30 minutes after eating Midday • Nap Time / Free Play: Dogs are encouraged to rest or enjoy calm indoor play. We carefully assess each dog’s temperament to ensure they’re a good fit for our home, our dogs, and our young children (ages, 8, and 6). Our kids are very comfortable around dogs and have been taught how to behave respectfully and gently with animals of all sizes and temperaments. Our top priority is maintaining a safe, happy, and stress-free space for every pup who stays with us.

About: I have had multiple dogs since I was born. They were of different sizes and breeds. I have also dog sat for multiple family friends. Work some on the weekends, but available all throughout the week. I work 8 hour shifts on the weekends so I will care for your pets right before and after my shift. I have my own very sturdy dog leash that I can use if you don’t have one. I also have a vehicle so I’m able to drive to different places.

About: For the past 2 years I have fostered dogs through Fetch Wisconsin Rescue. With rescue dogs, I first focus on decompression, resiliency and relationship building. If you have a puppy or a rescue dog who you are just starting to build a relationship with, I can support you! In June 2023, I adopted an adolescent Alaskan Husky on an emergency basis. He & I are active learners in the Susan Garrett "Recaller" and "Wag Nation" training. If this style of games-based training sounds interesting to you, I'd love to help you build consistency and confidence in your pup! A lot of what I do with pups is informed by the Resilience Rainbow (popularized by the Behavior Vets) and pattern games (popularized by Leslie McDevitt). As a staff member with the Dane County Humane Society, I continue to grow my understanding of how to implement these practices with dogs who are new to me. I would love to contribute to your peace of mind by supporting the peace of mind of your dog while they are with me during your time "away". I work from home as a medical interpreter on the phone/video. This means that I can pepper my day with direct dog supervision and targeted practice on growing skills. I also have 3 5x5 kennels and very large crates for down time, if indicated. I would really like to consult with you about how to manage "down" time for your dog. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture at my house. I do have two resident cats, but/and they do not share spaces with the dogs I have either foster, own or care for. My house has a fenced in yard (6 foot fence). I also live very close to our recreational bike path, and if you are interested, I would be happy to talk about whether canicross or biking options are appropriate for your dog. I also live within a 5-minute drive from the Prairie Forest park, a huge wooded area where dogs can be off leash. For dogs in my care, however, I could offer the option of using a long line to take them on a sniffari in the park. I am also vetted to enroll in the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Professional program. I plan on starting my studies formally once my working dog is recovered from an acute Lyme infection.
