About: My husband and I have been around dogs our entire life, small to large breed, we love dogs! Our little one absolutely loves having them around, being outside, throwing ball, treats, etc. So, your pet would need to be great with kids :) We live in the beautiful Whittier neighborhood with plenty of walking options. Our backyard is enclosed with a high eight foot fence. So, your pet would be plenty comfortable. Or, if you're away, I could come to your pet for their time outdoors. I have a small SUV, so transportation is always an option! We're comfortable letting your pet roam the house while we're here and away. We would only take on more than one dog after talking to the owner of our current stay, and the dogs are compatible, or they come from the same home! With that said, we do not have any four legged pets of our own.... only tanked ones ;) three amano shrimp, two tetras, and two narite snails! So, your pet will have the luxury of our undivided attention! When your pet would come to stay with us, we do ask for as much info/'their 'stuff' as you can bring/provide regarding your pets normal/routine at their home, commands, tricks, toys, food, bedding... etc so your pet is comfortable and enjoys their time here, and so we can keep them in as much of a similar framework as their home. The Rover site allows for pics and videos. So, we like to take a few during their stay and send them to owners! Our current stay and past stays have really enjoyed this! Prior to you or us making a decision on your pets stay, we would like for you all and your pet to visit our home. This will allow you to see and get a sense of our neighborhood and home - where your pet will be staying, and meet us! I hope this has been helpful for you!

“Heather was always on time, attentive and kept me updated on the latest about my cats while I was away. I’m an anxious pet owner but knew they were in good hands.”

“Carolina did a fantastic job with our guy Ovi! She took great care of him and went above and beyond. I would gladly recommend her to anyone who is looking for exceptional pet care.”

“Sophia was fantastic at taking care of our little cat Sausage. She spent a lot of time with her giving her attention and playing with her. Kept us updated with photos whilst we were away and great messages. Thanks so much Sophia”

“Teri is a great cat sitter. She was 100% reliable, and gave me regular feedback. Buddy took to her right away, and, from the pictures, apparently enjoyed her visits. Upon my return, I found him healthy & happy.”

“Ande was a reliable and courteous pet sitter! She messaged me each day to let me know she had been by the house, and she sent a couple photos as well. I first met Ande last summer when she was the foster mom of my cat Poppi. It's always hard to leave your pets when you go away, but it made me so happy to know that Ande and Poppi would be able to reunite while we were away.”

About: I've lived in a multi-dog household since I was born, which gives me 19 years of hands-on experience with all types of dogs. I currently live in a four-dog household back at home and have three Australian Shepherds and a GSD/Cattle dog mix. Living with these breeds has given me experience with high-energy and high-intelligence breeds that require lots of physical and mental stimulation. I also fully trained my GSD/Cattle dog mix (Joey) since he was a puppy, and one of my proudest achievements is helping him become a well-behaved, intelligent, and overall great companion that anybody would be lucky to have. My experience throughout my life has given me experience with all types of dogs. From puppies to seniors and from Jack Russel Terriers to Great Pyrenees. Overall, I know that dog care is more than just feeding them and a bathroom break its about engagement. When you put trust in me to care for your dog, I will prioritize their safety and follow your instructions to ensure they return home tired, happy, and calm. I'm currently a Dean's List student and captain of the men's soccer team at Shepherd University. This means my life is built around a consistent schedule. My days are structured and predictable. Which allows me to offer consistent care for your dog. I will be available to check in your dog at every point of the day: Early Morning, Midday, Afternoon, and Night. With my schedule, I am available at multiple points throughout the day to have enough time to care for your animal. Time management is also a great skill of mine that I have only improved in since being a student athlete here at Shepherd, so I can ensure I will make enough time to give your pet the best care possible. While caring for your dogs in your home, I provide discipline and great care centered on the safety and happiness of your dog. I will treat your home with the utmost respect and will provide frequent updates while maintaining a clean space for your return. I will give your pets the care that suits them most. If it's playing fetch in the yard or snuggling up with a movie, I'm passionate about caring for your pet the best way possible.
