“I usually don't leave reviews but I have to this time. Renee is amazing! We found ourselves needing a sitter for our 7 month old Golden Doodle for a week. I had never used the Rover app OR a dog boarding service before. I found Renee using the Star Sitters filter and I am so grateful to her. She was patient with all of my questions (before, during, and after the meeting and greet!) and immediately put my mind at ease. You can tell she has a lot of experience with dogs and has a very calm but assertive demeanor with them that made me confident she could handle our amped up puppy. While we were away she sent us pictures and updates regularly without me asking so I was never worried about how he was. He even made friends at her house to play with! After bringing him home I could tell she kept him on his routine and he is doing great. I can't recommend her enough!”

Professional experience, 3-4 with feeding, scooping litter, and playing with neighbors or family friends cats. My cat is a bit on the energetic side, so if you think your cat is too much, don’t worry because I can for sure handle whatever craziness your cat is filled with.
“I couldn't be happier with Alexia & Jay - they are my go-to sitters now! I tried Rover once before; I selected a house sitter, and the person indicated she was staying, but I don't think she spent much time here; there was little sign of her living here and my cat was hysterical and needy when I returned. A young couple for house sitting is a good idea - they won't get lonely or bored by themselves. They were personable, responsible, and responsive, with good communication. They sent me lots of videos every day of my cat being content and entertained. My cat tends to be afraid of men, but she warmed right up to Jay, he was good with her. When I got home kitty greeted me as if I had only come home from the grocery store; she had been well taken care of. Alexia and Jay left the house clean and tidy. I offered to pay them extra for various chores around the house while they were sitting. They were happy to do them, and did a great job. I came home to a house better than how I'd left it. “This was our second time using Rover for vacation and I was super anxious about leaving my anti social cat Cheyenne. She’s hard to get to know (as some cats can be). Disha was reassuring and ontop of things from the first meet and greet! She was thorough and really made it known she would care for Cheyenne like she was hers. Throughout our vacation, I had spotty - to no signal with limited access to wifi, Disha still communicated with me and went onto suggest other ways to keep in touch! She even did an extra visit when my cat puked quite a lot one of the days to ensure she was okay! We loved having Disha watch Cheyenne and recommend her highly! We will continue to book with her in the future if she has availability! About: I have had dogs my entire life. Cats since I was 11. I have ridden and worked with horses since I was 5. I do all my animals vetting minus their rabies vaccinations. I have a senior Husky, a three year old German Shepherd and an eleven month old Pitbull/German shepherd mix. I have a ball python as well as two eight year old tuxedo cats. I love them all! All my babies are spoiled rotten and I share in the spoils! I currently stay at home and I'm a football mom so I have an open schedule around practices and games to take care of needs of others! I currently do not offer boarding as I do not have a fence. My dogs and I love to lounge around, play and adventure the yard for all the new smells. My babies have my full house to roam and are only put up when I leave as they are mischievous and get themselves into trouble. We go out every few hours to potty and roam the yard to smell all the smells, because you never know who has been in the yard in the last two hours! We must patrol! Lots of walks and toys! In your home, it is whatever you and your pet need! Walks, playtime, medication, pop-ins.
About: My husband and I have been around dogs our entire life, small to large breed, we love dogs! Our little one absolutely loves having them around, being outside, throwing ball, treats, etc. So, your pet would need to be great with kids :) We live in the beautiful Whittier neighborhood with plenty of walking options. Our backyard is enclosed with a high eight foot fence. So, your pet would be plenty comfortable. Or, if you're away, I could come to your pet for their time outdoors. I have a small SUV, so transportation is always an option! We're comfortable letting your pet roam the house while we're here and away. We would only take on more than one dog after talking to the owner of our current stay, and the dogs are compatible, or they come from the same home! With that said, we do not have any four legged pets of our own.... only tanked ones ;) three amano shrimp, two tetras, and two narite snails! So, your pet will have the luxury of our undivided attention! When your pet would come to stay with us, we do ask for as much info/'their 'stuff' as you can bring/provide regarding your pets normal/routine at their home, commands, tricks, toys, food, bedding... etc so your pet is comfortable and enjoys their time here, and so we can keep them in as much of a similar framework as their home. The Rover site allows for pics and videos. So, we like to take a few during their stay and send them to owners! Our current stay and past stays have really enjoyed this! Prior to you or us making a decision on your pets stay, we would like for you all and your pet to visit our home. About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We will provide the same level of care and kindness that I would want and expect for our own spoiled pets. Trust is an important part of pet care and petsitting, and we want you to be able to confidently, and without worry, leave your pampered pups and kitties in our care. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. We currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. We are able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. We treat every animal as if it were our own and provide a level of care that we would expect from our pet care provider.

About: I’ve had pets since I was a kid. I love animals, as they are the most loving and authentic little beings. I’ve always had dogs and have taken care of family/friends/neighbors’ dogs when needed. I offer boarding, walks, a fenced in yard and socialization with my children and my own pets. About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I look out for them. I believe exercise is critical. I care about their comfort and nutrition, including constant fresh water! I like to have notes on personalities and habits of the dogs I care for so as to help the animal feel comfortable. I prefer dogs that have been crate trained or trained for healthy habits. A crate is a necessary tool and a dog should feel safe in a crate. If I need to step out for any reason, your dog will be put in a crate for their safety (or your preferred method). Favorite toys and bedding is encouraged. Please know that your dog is safe and cared for while in my supervision. I'm home most of the day with the exception of a few hours(3-3 1/2) so, your dog will have my attention and care! Besides, all dogs need naps, right? :-) Holiday rates will apply to all of my services. Mostly retired. Why not use my time to care for wonderful animals? I currently have 3 cats. About: Ive taken care of and owned dogs for 20+yrs. I have alot of love to give an will love yours like they are my own. I am currently off for summer break and am available all days and hours. I live alone with my furbaby Koda,and I love all animals! I have a year old chocolate lab who loves new friends. I have a fenced in back yard and I have a crate if needed.

About: I have had family dogs since I can remember and have been caring for them since around 9 years old. I'm currently studying to become a veterinary technician with a degree in animal science! I also am a former dog bather and groomer in training as well as a former kennel employee. A dogs love is unconditional and I feel that means they deserve everything and more! I am available 24 hours a day and would love to fill all 7 days of the week with fuzzy, slobbery friends! I do have occasional doctors appointments or visits with family and whatnot, but those should be reflected in my calendar! I will be accompanied by lots of love and lots of patience. I will feed and give medication as needed. If any housekeeping is needed I am happy to help, and I will walk, brush and let them outside as you ask, maybe even a nail trim if needed!

“I usually don't leave reviews but I have to this time. Renee is amazing! We found ourselves needing a sitter for our 7 month old Golden Doodle for a week. I had never used the Rover app OR a dog boarding service before. I found Renee using the Star Sitters filter and I am so grateful to her. She was patient with all of my questions (before, during, and after the meeting and greet!) and immediately put my mind at ease. You can tell she has a lot of experience with dogs and has a very calm but assertive demeanor with them that made me confident she could handle our amped up puppy. While we were away she sent us pictures and updates regularly without me asking so I was never worried about how he was. He even made friends at her house to play with! After bringing him home I could tell she kept him on his routine and he is doing great. I can't recommend her enough!”

“Anahita was a life saver for me this past weekend. She was able to care for Sammy with last minute notice, which I really appreciated. I like the fact that she has other dogs because Sammy is very social and likes to play with other dogs. Apparently he got along with her dogs just fine and that makes me happy. He needed some socialization. She sent photos throughout Sammy’s stay in her home. When I picked Sammy up the next day, he seemed very calm and relaxed. He was pretty calm the rest of the evening which was great. I expected a little anxiety when I returned but Sammy seemed peaceful on the drive back home. I think that Anahita’s calm, caring and peaceful personality played a huge part. I appreciate that so much. She pays attention to details that are important to the dog for a successful stay, but is not overly anxious. Thank you so much, Anahita, for caring for Sammy for me. I was able to relax and have a great overnight trip without worrying about Sammy! We will be repeat customers for sure!”
