About: I got my first pets at 21, two mice named Luna and Lena. Since then I've had many more pets including more mice, rats, dogs, and a cat. I have had my dogs for about 7 years. My baby girl Remy, is a wild ball of energy, even at 9. My darling boy Leonard, is a very slow gentle giant who moves like a sloth, so I have experience with dogs across the energy spectrum! My fluffy baby Bean is my first cat. I have learned a lot from him over the last 4 years that Ive had him. He is a cuddly kitty who shows love through playful violence. I say this to explain that I am so used to being torn up a bit by my pets. I understand that pets do not know their strength or sharpness and I will give them the grace needed! My pets are the center of my life. I wake up and immediately refill food and waters and let my dogs outside. While they do their business, I cuddle Bean, my cat. Sadly, after I let my dogs in I have to head out to work. When I get home from work, I always run to get kisses from my dogs. Then I do the same as the morning, check food and water and let them outside. Because my cat and one of my dogs dont get along, I often have to split my time between them but I make sure everyone gets all their cuddles and love. I also dedicate at least 10 minutes twice a day, playing with each of them. I am unable to host others pets at my house as we are full up, but I always treat others homes and pets with the utmost respect. I try my best not to touch anthing that isn't needed and leave the home looking the same or better than when I got there.

“Oh my gosh - Sam rules! The first time they met my dog, Nigel, I could tell it would be a great fit. At that time, I had never booked a sitter for him before. Nigel is a bit of a grumpy man and is snappy with new people. Sam toughed it out and had Nigel snuggling in their lap in no time! Sam is calm, patient, and attentive...and flexible - they were fine with looking after my cat, Zeke, even though I couldn't figure out how to add a cat to my profile at that time. I felt very assured with Sam's updates and photos, and they took good care of my home while I was away. When Sam came to drop off the key at the end of our booking, Nigel ran past me and straight to them even though I'd been gone for 4 days! What a little traitor. But I still love him. And I appreciate Sam and look forward to booking them again soon! Thank you, Sam!”

About: I have over 25 years of experience caring for, loving and training various dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. My wife and I have 3 rescue dogs and 5 rescue cats, plus we regularly foster puppies and kittens. I know how important it is to ensure your babies are in good hands and safe while you’re away! I’ve worked with dogs and cats of many different ages, breeds, and temperaments over the years and have experience with potty, obedience and leash training, as well as caring for senior animals or administering medication etc. I love every pet as if they were my own!! I work fully remote so am entirely flexible throughout my day, including nights and weekends. I am able to accommodate the needs of the pet whether it involves a quick stop or an extended stay. I will always make sure your pet is secured in a fenced yard or on a leash. I don’t even like to leave pets unattended in the yard without keeping an eye on them. In the house it is important that boundaries are adhered to if there are certain areas off limits, and crate trained dogs are secured in their crate when left at home.
