About: I have had pets all my life from dogs and cats to gerbils, hamsters and fish. Even as a young child I was primarily responsible for most of the routine daily pet care. I'm a trained CNA with applicable caregiving skills. I also have extensive experience as a shelter volunteer having walked the dog and played with them as well as socializing the cats. I'm currently self employed as a home care aide and wish to take care of animals in between assignments or during days off. I do not have any responsibilities that would interfere with me taking care of your fur babies. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a yard stake. I live in a townhouse with an open grass backyard. I regularly take my dog to The Liberty, MO Stockdale dog park and can take yours there too if that's your preference. If you wish I can walk your dog as many times per day as you prefer. My neighborhood has paved sidewalks and walking paths that I routinely use to walk my dog daily. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. I can do everything from long or short walks, taking them outside for potty breaks, administering food or medicine, playtime, etc.

I know how to handle dogs even big dogs that pull on the leash. I can help keep training consistent. I run a home daycare and help care for my mom and homeschool my autistic son with time, room and love to give your doggies. I do have a dog and 2 cats of my own that don't get along so I have to switch out their living room social time and will ensure your animals has some social time as well. I am able to care for 3 more dogs at a time. I have a large basement with an unfinished room that I put a baby gate up for the door and I have 2 kennels. If I have 3 dogs at once I will rotate the dogs out to make sure that one does not have to stay in a kennel too long. I will ensure your doggy always has food and water available and frequent bathroom breaks with plenty of love and social time. I have a semi big yard with a 20 foot tie down lead to ensure your dog has enough room to run around but won't get away. I also have a small plastic kiddie pool I fill up for the doggies to get in and enjoy!

I work from home; however, I have a flexible schedule. I am available throughout the lunch period for rest breaks, and walking. I have availability Monday -Sunday.
