About: I have been a lifelong dog owner. I can care for a variety of pups from young and energetic to senior pups. I love to take my own dogs on my adventures throughout the Santa Cruz mountains from casual walks to long adventure runs and so I can accommodate whatever your dog needs. I also like to spend time training and practicing commands because dogs also like to be engaged mentally along with the physical. Of course love and affection through cuddles is always guaranteed and unlimited. I have lots of experienced with many different dog personalities and can accommodate them accordingly to make sure they are well cared for. I have a very flexible schedule that is mostly already based around my own pups so I am very much able to accommodate yours as well! I have availability to provide attentive, reliable care for your pets throughout the day and evening. I already incorporate activities like dog walking and trail running into my daily routine which means I can offer active dogs a great adventure while also being available for quiet cuddle and consistent care for all pets. In my home, I treat every guest like family. My home is a safe, dog-friendly environment with a fenced yard where they can play safely. We'll follow their regular feeding schedule and I'll make sure they get plenty of exercise with daily walks, running for high-energy dogs, and lots of mental stimulation. In the evenings, it's all about cuddles and relaxation on the couch, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved. When caring for pets in a client's home, my top priority is to maintain their familiar routine. I'll adhere strictly to their feeding schedule, walking routine, and any specific commands they know. My goal is to be a calm and reliable presence, providing consistent care and affection in their own environment. I'll also ensure your home is kept clean and secure, leaving it just as I found it.

“Nora is a GIFT! About a year ago my now 14 year-old cat Riley abruptly lost a significant amount of weight and bloodwork showed some kind of significant liver event though nothing was evident in an XRAY or ultrasound. He was prescribed two ongoing medications to support his liver & reduce inflammation; a small pill that needs to absorb during a fast (no food for 2 hours before and 1 hour after) and a liquid medication that needs to be given with food. In addition to the with/without food medications complexity, successfully pilling a cat every day requires a deft hand—pretty straightforward for someone who’s good at it, increasingly difficult each day for anyone who isn’t. Add to the equation both Riley and his brother Ash are initially shy with strangers. All things considered to me the situation seemed like a complicated ask for a pet sitter, so over the past year I hadn’t gone away on any trips longer than 2-3 days. In the face of a terminal illness diagnosis in my direct family I came to terms with having to hope for the best using a pet sitter for an 8 day family vacation though I was very concerned about how Riley would be affected by the extended change in routine. Enter Nora; highly intelligent, highly *attuned* (to the pets & the people), instantly trustworthy, and very gracious, a rare combination of total professionalism & grounded compassion. Though Nora was only here for about an hour each day her presence *visibly improved* Riley’s health. I didn’t know it was possible to come home from being away for 8 days to find Riley noticeably fluffier and more energetic than when I left, but that’s the magic that unfolded under Nora’s care. She also sent me pictures of Riley and Ash every day and let me know how they were each doing, sharing her sophisticated curiosity & creativity getting Riley to eat more and Ash to gradually come out of his shyness with clear warmth towards both of them. It’s extremely clear Nora *truly cares* and is keenly observant and exceptionally competent, a combination that made it possible for me to relax so much more on my trip. When it’s a good fit, I love incorporating dogs into my daily life — whether that’s a nature walk, a car ride to town, or just relaxing outside. But I never take dogs to dog parks or chaotic spaces. If something feels too stimulating or simply isn’t right for your pet, we skip it — no pressure, no push. And if your pup is the stay-home-and-cuddle type? That works for me too. I always ask about behavior, routines, and preferences ahead of time and spend the first day or two getting a read on what your pet is capable of and comfortable with. My goal is to help every animal feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for in a way that honors who they are. I work from home full time! I have several clients but the type of work allows me to be extremely flexible for your pets! I know while some pets can just hang out while I work, others may need more care, enrichment or a closer eye - I can and will accommodate accordingly. Just let me know what your pet needs ❤️ When sitting at your home I prefer to stick to the spaces your pets are most comfortable in or used to as well as stick to a similar routine. I find this helps with separation anxiety and any confusion the pets may have since their favorite human is gone! If possible, I like to take dogs for a longer walk on the first day to help us bond and help me learn how they behave. For other pets, this may look more like a longer playtime, enrichment activity, etc. I want to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible with me in their space so that first day is important to me!

About: I have experience with pet sitting for friends and neighbors over the past year along with having had all different breeds of dogs growing up and enjoy their company. I love to go for walks, hikes, the beach and would love to take your dog with me. I've had to give senior dogs medication and look after them. I know how hard it is to trust someone to watch your fur baby when your away and I'm that person and I will treat them like royalty. I am home everyday at 1:00. I am ready to take your dog with me on a walk or hike. If they staying with me or I pick them up for a walk or hike. Your dog will have access to a dog run area all day long. I have a house with a large fenced in yard and your dog will have complete access to outside at all times. At this time I don't have a dog of my own, so there will be no conflict between dogs. I want your dog to feel at home as much possible.

About: I've had dogs and cats since I was about 13 years old. I am familiar with the basic care of pets and I'm open to helping with all sorts of things like giving medications since I do have two cats of my own. I have helped close family members with their pets and I'm now open to helping others witb their fur babies! I have a deep love for all animals and I currently work as a receptionist in an animal hospital. I am currently working a part time shift and a mom who has both busy days and some days where I'm very flexible. I am off two-three Fridays a month and my weekends are usually free. I am open to stopping in to check on your baby or bringing them to my place if needed. I have two of my own fur babies but I have the space to keep them seperate and safe is doable. About: I’m back! I took a hiatus for a few years to raise two babies and now I’m on the job to make your pup smile! I have had dogs my whole life and devastatingly our last two pups passed through the rainbow bridge in 2024. My family still has room in our heart and our house for for your dog(s), so boarding and dog sitting is now our passion. I would love to share my love and energy by walking/running/playing with your dog(s). My dog home used to be filled with three energetic dogs with which I ran daily. I have no problem with running/walking larger or smaller breeds. I have owned and loved dogs of all ages and sizes and respect and understand that they have different needs and temperaments. I currently have two school-age children, so morning and midday is perfect for me to walk/run/play with your dog or animal.
