“Erika and her family were so loving with our little Penny. She kept me updated and sent pictures everyday which was very reassuring. I could tell Penny seemed very comfortable. I will definitely use Erika again.”

“I think she’s a dog whisperer cause I can swear my baby girl came home with some training! Very direct and on top of letting you know how your baby is doing. I definitely plan on using her services again.”
“Bruna was so friendly since the moment I requested boarding servies. Communication was great and I trusted her completely with my dog and kitty ! Thank you so much again for taking care of my babies 🤗 Hope to book again in the future ✨️”

“Nancy was hands down the BEST dog sitter we have had. I was beyond impressed with how well Maverick was cared for. She sent several updates throughout the day and was amazing at communicating. Maverick was so spoiled and came home so happy. We will 100% be using Nancy again, I cannot recommend her enough!”

“Excellent Service! We got daily updates with pictures and videos. Our fur-babies felt like home, because they were treated like his own. Reynaldo is an experienced caregiver and he had no problem at all providing his medication. Beautiful and organized house with nice backyard grass is a plus for us, because our furries did not miss playing and running outside several times a day just like they do at home. I recommend Reynaldo 💯”

“Sandra was amazing. She is very knowledgeable about dog care and wellness. She was great as far as keeping us updated on pancake’s care. We were sent pictures, videos, and texts. She really did give pancake so much love and care while in her care. It gave us so much of peace of mind knowing that pancake was in good hands. My husband and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Sandra and her mom to anyone looking for pet care. Thank you so much again for the love and care you showed pancake.”

“Terrie is the best sitter!! She took care of my Cici, a yorkie, as if it was one of her own pets for 5 days. Very lovely and kind-hearted person, warm home, very organized and kept me informed of my dog everyday. Cici had a great time! We will definitely book again with her for our next trip. Only good and beautiful things to say, and very thankful that we have found Terrie!!”

“Elizabeth and her family are wonderful sitters! My Gretel loved being with her three dogs! They totally have accepted Gretel into fold and it made us feel so good for her. I received videos and pics throughout her stay with Elizabeth. I will keep Elizabeth in mind every time.”

About: Hello I take care of your pet if like they are home. They will indeed be very spoiled. Also let me know what stuff they like and need so they can have a great time while your away. It fits perfectly as I am at home all day long and I do online school so it’s perfect also I do have my own pet so they could have fun playing. I care the pets as if it’s my own. But I know that all pets are different so I ask what they like and thier needs.
“I booked with Brando for Mulan our dog for 6 nights when we went on vasation in Seattle. Lorena his mom and Gerry his brother who is autistic helped take care of Mulan who seems so happy to be with them, They have a huge fenced yard where dogs can walk and ran around and be safe with no chance of getting away. Gerry loves to be with Mulan the first time he met her and Lorena updates me by sending pictures of Mulan while we're away. The next time we need somebody to take care of our pets I would use them again. Lorena and Gerry thank you so much for taking care of Mulan like uour own.”

- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
