“Zachary took time out of his day to meet our dog prior to his scheduled walk. He was patient and kind with our pup who takes a long time to warm up to people. He went above and beyond our expectations and I would recommend Zachary to anyone looking for help with their dog!”

“Carolyn is wonderful and I would highly recommend her! Kind, professional, dependable, and great with our dogs. We have 2 golden retrievers, ~3 yrs and ~6 mos, and they took to Carolyn right away. She took them on terrific hour-long walks for the 3 days we needed, even toweling them down because of the rains. I will definitely reach out to Carolyn in the future when similar needs come up.”

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was born. I want to offer my services because having a pet requires a lot of help sometimes as it also takes a village to raise a fur baby! I have dog sat/dropped in/ and walked multiple dogs so I have experience with all types from very small to German Shepherds and Labs as well as cat sitting. I currently have 2 cats so I have extensive experience in both types of pets. I have frequently volunteered at dog adoption events. I have sat for and walked multiple pets via Rover connections as well as personal referrals. Always treat your pets as I would my own. I usually am available for evenings and weekends as I work full time. I am usually unavailable for major holidays as I go out of town but that schedule varies. I don't care for pets in my home at this time. I spend time with the pets in their own home and feed or provide whatever services the client requests.

“Rhea was great and would highly recommend if you are looking for a walker. My dog can be very high energy and a lot to handle, but Rhea was able to manage and had no issues. I needed a walker for the entire week and Rhea sent detailed summaries and pictures everyday and was very punctual. I will definitely be contacting her again for any dog walking I need.”

“Colette was an amazing dog walker, my dogs absolutely loved her and we will definitely miss her. She was communicative, prompt, and so sweet with our girls. They got to know her car and would get so excited when they saw it coming down our street!”

“Sara was amazing! Our pup can be a little nervous but she kind and patient so Max took to her right away! Would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs their furbabies watched!”

“Nicole was wonderful. She had never met our puppy but was able to coax her outside in the pouring rain, and got her to pee the first time & pee & poop in the second, quite the feat for a stranger and my anxious pup. Nicole was responsive, easy to communicate with, and I highly recommend her!”

About: While I grew up with and love dogs, my wife’s allergies prevent us from getting one of our own - I joined rover to hang with some cool pups and to help make sure I get my daily steps in! I work as an independent consultant and work from home, so I have flexibility during the day to help with short/long walks, trips to Wissahickon Park, or to head to one of the local dog parks, etc.. I live in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia over by Walnut Lane Golf Course. Prefer to stay in the local area (short drive is OK). In the past I've had a variety of big and small dogs ranging for dachshunds, to chihuahuas, to golden doodles, to labradors. So big or small, I'm happy to help care for your pup! I currently work as an independent consultant, so I have flexibility to schedule around my fur friends needs. I do occasionally travel for backpacking trips or to see friends, however you’ll have plenty of advance notice. Each pet and their needs are unique, whether it’s a nice long walk or a good long scratch, I’ll be sure to follow your regimen to ensure your pet’s needs are met.

About: I grew up taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old. We most recently had a dog for 7 years that we loved dearly, but needed to live in a home with caregivers who are home during the day. Our family enjoys caring for family members dogs and hope to add another pet to our family in the future. For now, taking care of others’ pets is perfect. We love to spend time outside, take walks and give snuggles. We work outside the home 9-4 pm on weekdays and are home nights and weekends. We cannot consistently accommodate mid-day walks. We would not be a good fit for puppies or older dogs that require more frequent breaks outside. We have a fenced in yard and a nice neighborhood for walks. We can accommodate crate training, but not necessary. We could care for multiple dogs from one family if needed depending on size and temperament.

She is patient, kind and would care for anyone else’s dog as her own. Her spouse and two young girls are also willing and able to help care and cuddle. Andrea J.
“I can’t recommend Andrea enough! She recently took care of both my cat and dog, and I was completely blown away by the level of love and attention she gave them. My pets aren’t the easiest, my cat can be shy and picky, and my dog is full of energy but Andrea handled them both like an absolute pro. She kept me updated with photos and little notes, which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. When I came home, my pets were happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. It honestly felt like they were treated as part of her own family. Andrea is responsible, trustworthy, and has such a natural way with animals. If you’re looking for someone who will truly go above and beyond for your furry family members, she’s the one!”

Rhea K.
“Rhea and her husband Shiv are the best! They take excellent care of my little nervous boy. They often send updates and photos/videos to keep you updated and are super prompt in responding. My pup requires some extra attention with hand feeding and they do everything possible to keep him comfortable. Their dog Arlo is also adorable and friendly. I’m so glad I have someone I can trust while I am away!”
