“Kristen was excellent with our cats! I really appreciated that she wanted come by and get acquainted with the cats and their habits before we left. We felt very comfortable having her check in on them, and we arrived home to full bowls of food and clean litter boxes! While we got the daily Rover check in card, Kristen also got in touch with text messages when needed and let us know any issues as they happened. We've got a few trips coming up in the next year and we'll happily rebook with her! If we didn't know it already, the fact that we know all the cats ran to meet her at the door at every visit? That's the seal of approval from our cats indeed!”

“Mattalyn was so sweet and took great care of our cat. She really went above and beyond to make sure he had everything he needed, and she sent great pictures and updates. Best sitter ever!”

“Julia was wonderful with our two cats. She enjoyed playing with them and really treated our babies like her own. She also went the extra mile for us and was flexible with changes to the schedule. Highly recommended.”

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life for over 50 years. I was so lucky to grow up in a home that was the local Noah’s Arc. This childhood formed my commitment and love to animals. About 20 years ago, I decided to enter the world of pure bred dogs and have been an avid exhibitor and breeder of Pointers and Ridgebacks focused always on good temperaments and health. I love dogs and really believe it’s important that each animal I care for, feels at home, comfortable, pampered, exercised and loved. I have 4 dogs that are super casual and it has been very easy to bring animals into my home. I will only take 1 or 2 dogs at a time, as I want to be able to provide the best care possible for them. Your animals are treated as though they are mine and the care and love they will experience can only be exceeded by you. It’s always stressful for animals to be away from their families, so the more I can do to relieve this stress, the better I feel. I always tease my clients that their dogs may come home a little spoiled. I’m very much available all day really to take care of the dogs as my schedule is very flexible. In addition my brother lives with me and he helps me take care of the dogs. There is always a person at our house while your dog will be visiting. I also offer a military discount for those that have or are serving our beautiful country. I do not work outside of the home, which provides me with a lot of flexibility to provide dedicated care to your pets all day. I think it's important dogs that stay at my house receive the same amount of attention as they would at home and as my dogs do. I also believe it's important not to disrupt their daily routine, so I work closely with owners to understand each Dog needs.

About: Ive been around animals all my life, growing up on my grandfather's dairy farm. I have previous professional experience with animals as a vet assistant. Can administer meds/ special feedings. Have personal experience with food allergies and understand contamination protocols. Im currently working part-time, so I have afternoons and evenings mostly free. Tuesday and Friday are fully free for pet care and dog walking services. I have experience with crates if that is needed to care for your pet in your home, and will check for a safe, relaxing environment upon leaving the house.

“Mariah not only helped us out immediately, when we were in a tight spot, but she went above and beyond taking care of our cats while we were away. She was absolutely amazing with updates and information and we couldn’t be happier with her. You can absolutely trust her to take care of you and your pets needs. Thank you Mariah!”

“Evan has been come over to watch my three cats multiple times and he's always been very reliable and the cats love him. This winter we were under a freeze watch and he gave us daily confirmations that the cats and our home were okay, which we greatly appreciated! I will continue checking with Evan first to watch our cats and would highly recommend him.”

“Cats were fed, mail was in when I got back.”

Tracie H.
“Tracie has taken care of our babies, Theo and Chip, for the third time now, this time it was for over 5 days. It was such a relief to have our dogs in such capable hands and we were able to enjoy our vacation so much better knowing this. They had so much space in her yard to run and play! She sent photo updates and we knew they were having a blast after hearing all the details. It was nice knowing that while we enjoyed our vacation, our fur babies enjoyed theirs! We will DEFINITELY haveTracie take care of them again!”

Lynn F.
“I have known Lynn for over a year now. When I started looking for a Rhodesian Ridgeback I was lucky enough to meet her in my search for a breeder. With her background she is incredibly knowledge about how dogs should interact and behave, and has been an incredible resource for me. Since I have had Penny, Lynn has been my go-to when ever I need someone to watch her, either for a day, a few nights, or even long term. It is much more comforting knowing I’m dropping Penny off at a place where I know she will be cared for individually and will have such a fabolous time it seems like sometimes she rather just stay.”

Leigh J.

“Leigh was great with Zeus. She was always on time and Zeus loved play time!”

Jacob S.
“Eden has had pets all his life. He has helped care for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Eden has dealt with food aggressive small dogs, dog-reactive big dogs, and a hardcore leash puller. He knows how to handle these situations well and has always treated animals with care. He is also a college student and has learned self-sufficiency and is a diligent worker. He will do right by your furry friends and they will be in good hands!”

Eileen C.

“Eileen is one of the most reliable and trustworthy dogsitters I have ever had. I have a very high energy dog who cannot be off leash outside. I never had any doubts that with Eileen she would be safe, happy, and well loved. Whether it was just a walk, or a long weekend, I knew I could count on Eileen to provide the best care possible. She is very clearly an animal lover, and engages with them in a calm and loving manor. When Eileen stayed at my house to watch my dog, she sent pictures and updates, which I appreciated greatly. She followed my rules for my dog (for example not allowing her to jump up, or sitting before eating dinner) and left the house in great shape when she left. I consider my dog to me on the more challenging side, and Eileen didn't hesitate at all with dealing with those challenges. Sandy got long walks and lots of snuggles and love. I cannot recommend her enough.”

Cathrine G.
“I’ve known Cathrine for decades in both a personal and professional capacity. I know her to be a responsible, trustworthy, and dedicated person as well as good with animals. She’s always been friendly with any and all of my pets as well as taking care of her own. She’s regularly watched/cared for my sister’s (big) dogs for weeks at a time. I’ve asked her to feed and let out my dogs when I’ve been out late in the day. I would definitely be comfortable asking her to walk or care for my dogs as well as recommending her to others.”

Evan G.Star Sitter

Nancy M.

“We feel so blessed to have found Nancy! She kept us updated on everything and took wonderful care of our Jesse. We will book with her on our next trip.”

Bekah L.

“Bekah did a great job checking in on Callie. Even though Callie hid she was able to get a pic of her under the couch and send it to us. We appreciate the time she took to make sure she saw her.”

Makena G.
“Makena is a life long lover of all animals. I have frequently called her "the animal wisperer." She somehow has a second sense about her that even the most timid, anxious, abused, and neglected animals seem to connect and immediately feel safe with her. My super protective and anxious Australian shepherd would go absolutely bonkers at the mention of her name. They had a special connection that not many could develop with my crazy guy! Her huge heart for the love she shares with animals has made her an amazing person. Sometimes the love of a pet and their love for you is the best connection and one of the most meaningful types of relationships we develop in life. Blair her dog is treated better than most humans and Makena is her best friend! She loves playing in the water, taking rides, going on trails. Makena is the owner, but Blair is the boss! She does anything and everything to keep her at her happiest. Makena's extensive history for working with other people's most precious pets makes her an exceptional candidate for this position. I have no doubt that Makena will excel! As I have noted, with her love of animals, devotion to the happiness of animals, and caring heart, she will without a doubt win over her client's and their pets!”
