About: I have been doing drop-in pet sitting since I was 10 years old. I also worked at a Collie breeding facility for two years. I now own my own dog and have trained her and cared for her for 7 years. I have the ability to teach agility as well as basic obedience (sit, lay down, heel, roll over, etc). I am extremely active and love going on walks or runs with pets, but am happy to sit and offer belly rubs too! I am free to take care of your pet wherever and whenever you like, within reason. Unfortunately I cannot have pets at my house. Your dog's happiness and health is of the utmost importance. I am different from other sitters in that I possess extensive dog experience, patience, and an extreme love for animals. I am currently available most days to spend time with your pet. I was also a receptionist and am a vet technician at a local vet clinic and can use my knowledge in the event of an emergency. I fit it in around work and having my own dog. I typically spend a moderate amount of time with your pet, with the ability to conduct check ins as needed. I used to be a part time vet tech so I am very knowledgeable about many different clinical signs of pain or distress as well as any maladies your dog could have.

About: As a trusted home-body I’m always the one to watch family and friends’ pets when they go out of town. And I love it! I’m a freelancer who works from home so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I have more than enough time to play, cuddle, train, take walks, and give your dog all of the attention and care they deserve! I have a large fenced-in backyard and two dogs of my own to keep yours company during their stay. I have one 6 year old chihuahua and one 10-month old rat terrier puppy with plenty of friendly, playful energy. We have tons of toys and treats as well. If they’re kennel-trained, I have a kennel they can feel safe and secure in.

I don’t expect every pet to immediately love me—I’m happy to earn their trust at their pace. Safety & Communication Your pet’s safety comes first. I follow owner instructions carefully, keep a close eye on the animals in my care, and communicate promptly if I notice anything concerning. You’ll also receive updates so you know how your pets are doing while you’re away. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s hands. My goal is for you to come home to happy animals who have been well cared for and whose normal routine has been disrupted as little as possible. Whether you have one spoiled house cat, an energetic dog, a senior who likes to take things slowly, or a whole household of four-legged family members, I’d be happy to care for them. Although I work as a substitute teacher, there are many days I am home part or all of the day. While I have a generic routine, I like to know the pets usual routine so I can cater to that as much as is possible. I have a small fenced yard, but most importantly, my apartment is set up with pet safety in mind. I have gates and latches to prevent accidental runners, my cat has her own space to keep away from other animals, I have the space and ability to separate dogs if needed. Ultimately I treat them like my own. They are welcome in my bed, have free run of the common areas, have lots of toys... I am always up for snuggles and fun!

About: I've grown up with dogs and have taken care of them since I was in high school. I'm currently a graduate student studying Clinical Psychology through the University of Alabama UA. I’ve relocated to Georgetown to complete my doctoral internship. I am available to dog sit or walk/care for your fur baby! I do have a small (16lb.) King Charles Cavalier in my home. About: I’ve always loved animals and have been passionate about keeping them happy and healthy! I love any kind of animal in any shape or size and am not intimidated by big dogs! I have lots of experience with large dogs especially since my family has always owned black labs. I am a student at UK studying Forestry and Wildlife Biology! I attend classes full time but I have full availability on weekends. I can work around my class schedule for drop-in visits and walks. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to play!
