About: As an experienced dog foster, I have cared for more than 25 dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs, representing a wide variety of breeds and sizes. In addition, I was the proud owner of four dogs who each lived long, happy lives and reached their senior years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the important role pets play as beloved members of the family. As a school teacher, I enjoy a very flexible schedule during the summer months and would love the opportunity to support families who need a safe, loving temporary home for their four-legged companions. Whether your pet needs overnight care, companionship during the day, or some extra exercise and attention, I am committed to providing the same level of care and affection that I would give my own dogs. As a teacher, I am currently on summer break, so I have availability daily throughout the week for play sessions and dog walks. I am also available for multi-night lodging. When you’re here, you’re family. Any animal under my care will be treated as one of my own. But with me, you get a whole family who are all trained in caring for dogs and cats, as each member of the household has been involved with fostering pups and raising kitties. The second floor of the house is separated by a door at the top of the stairs to allow separation between feline and canine friends if needed. Daily photos and FaceTime are available. We have multiple-sized dog crates if crating is requested. Although we may be new faces to your four legged companions, we will try to keep consistency in the rules you have at your home. If they are allowed on your couch, then they will be here. Feeding schedule will be dictated by how they ate at home. Walks will be frequent and there is a huge box of dog toys and cat toys to keep them entertained.

“Barbara is a natural! I have a hesitant, scared of a lot of things dog and he warmed up to her in no time. She was wonderful with both my doggies. I’m a worrier, but felt good leaving my dogs in her hands. She is responsible and communicative and takes good care to follow whatever regimen/schedule you ask her to. We came home to very calm and happy dogs. So happy to have found her!”

“Susan & Corey were absolutely wonderful with my anxious & sweet Chihuahua. They stayed at our home and were extremely kind and wonderful with my dog! They gave him so much attention, belly rubs, and snuggles. Susan was also very kind at arriving very early on the first day so we could set out for our trip on time. The communication was also great with Susan and she made us feel very comfortable by sending pictures of my dog eating, snuggling with them on the sofa, and being happy. Susan also took great care of our home, brought in our mail and packages for us, and left our home nice & clean. She also left us a report card on their stay which we thought was a nice touch. Would highly recommend Susan!!! She is kind, professional, and clearly has been working with animals for a long time.”

“Cassidy did an AMAZING job house sitting for our 2 kitties for the 10 days we were on vacation. She read all 9 pages of instructions even before our meet & greet and followed the intricate feeding requests for both kitties. Each needs different dry food for UTI prevention and weight management, 1 needs a probiotic, they get a different bedtime snack - Cassidy was a pro following everything and reached out when we needed to troubleshoot for one of the kitties. She played with their favorite toys, took the cutest photos, and really cared about them. Her kind and gentle demeanor made it so easy for them to get acclimated quickly. This was our longest time away from them, but I felt completely at peace and reassured they were in great hands. Cassidy also left the place looking immaculate when we got back. The trash was even clean and she put our mail on the counter. When we came back, the kitties looked completely content and came up to us like, ‘Who are you and where is Cassidy?’ lol. She did a wonderful job and we already have her booked for 2 more house sits this Summer!”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs of all kinds and know firsthand the love and attention they need. From my first dog, Francis—a loyal Cocker Spaniel/Beagle mix who was part of the family for 16 years—to Olivia, a playful Boxer mix who brought joy for 9 years, I’ve learned how to care for dogs with different personalities and health needs. Now, I’m lucky to share my life with Lulu, a 3-year-old Staffy and Pitbull mix. I treat every dog with the same love and care I give my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well-loved. Taking care of pets is just part of my everyday life. I make sure there’s time for walks, play, meals, and plenty of love every day. I’m used to paying attention to what each dog needs—whether it’s some extra energy to burn or just some chill cuddle time. Basically, I fit pet care into my routine because I genuinely enjoy hanging out with dogs and making sure they’re happy. I live in a quiet apartment with my dog Lulu, which provides a calm and safe environment for pets. I’m also close to several parks with plenty of space for walks and playtime, so your fur baby will get lots of exercise and fresh air. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or during in-home visits, I always make sure water is available and follow feeding routines tailored to your dog’s needs.
