About: If you need help with your pets, but don't want to leave them in just anyone's care, let me introduce myself. Hello, my name is Naomi! I am a veterinary technician who is looking to add some critters to my schedule. I grew up with a variety of pets and next door to my uncle’s dairy farm. I began pet sitting as a teenager and went on to pursue a degree in veterinary technology starting my senior year of high school. During my years as a certified veterinary technician, I have worked with a multitude of animals; from dogs and cats to hawks and racoons. I like to have fun and goof around with your pet but also love to spend time relaxing and cuddling. I provide regular photo updates and communications. I will let you know that I have arrived shortly after I have taken care of your pet’s immediate needs such as going potty, and I always send a closing message after a pet sit. (***Please note that this account was originally made for Hannah (Gracie) and I to pet sit together. Currently, it is rare that Gracie will join me for pet sitting, but not impossible. If your dates coincide with dates that Gracie is able to assist me in pet sitting, you will have chance to meet her either at an initial meet and greet or virtually to ensure that you are comfortable with both of us. She is amazing! She just isn't as free as she used to be). I typically work 10-hour shifts, 3-4 days per week This makes me available to spend time with your pet in the mornings and in the evenings on those days. On days off, I would be available for more of the day. Services: - Pet sitting (overnight care) - Drop in visits - Walks - CAT nail trims - $40/cat - DOG anal gland expressions - $51/dog If you are just looking for a nail trim or anal gland expression, please request this as a drop in visit and state what service you are looking for, and I will adjust the pricing accordingly. If you are already booking another service and/or have multiple pets, each additional cat nail trim or dog anal gland expression will be $10 off. I am currently available for walks and drop in visits multiple times throughout the day on Mondays and Wednesdays. Once in the morning and once in the evening on Fridays. And once in the evening Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please request the link to see my google doc calendar for my specific availability. The amount of time spent with each pet depends on my work schedule. Dogs will get at least one walk per workday with other outside time as well. On off days I will have more time to go on long walks or multiple walks. Plenty of cuddle and playtime always! I truly love spending time with animals; they will get plenty of attention in my care. I can also give medications to dogs and cats, and other care as needed. We can discuss your pet's specific needs prior to pet sitting and hopefully it is something that I can accommodate. I always try to keep their routine pretty similar to normal. I will take care of your furbaby as my own. I have 2 kiddos that I drop off/pick up at school. I am flexible when it comes to accommodating to your schedule/needs. Your pup will stay at my house where he/she will receive lots of love, cuddles, be fed, let outside, and play. Did I mention cuddles? :) can’t wait! I live in a rural area away from the road. There is lots of privacy and woods around us. Lots of space to run and play both outside and in. I have a wireless collar available if that would make you feel more comfortable, it provides a specific perimeter to keep the dog from running far off. Right now I don’t use it. I will be with your dog the entire time :)

About: I've had cats and dogs my entire life and love both. I have taken care of young puppies and kittens as well as other small animals My weekly routine is fairly flexible now, I make my own schedule.so I can be pretty accommodating at the moment. I also have my own vehicle I can't board at my place presently but I hope to be able to do so in the future. I can pet/house sit anywhere in the greater Burlington area. I have a mini Aussie who can come play if your pets are comfortable with guests :)

About: Long story short: I have YEARS of experience and a deep love of all animals! I'm great with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities! Happy to walk them all! Must be kid-friendly if sitting happens in my home. Good with cats for in-your-home pet-sitting The Long Version: I've had dogs in my home since I was a kid. I also have experience with cats, as we had cats first when I was younger, and at one point had multiple cats in the home at once, and also had two cats and two dogs at one time. In college I volunteered at a local rescue and walked dogs of all sizes and personalities several days a week. I ended up adopting one of those dogs, and had her from the age of about 4, until her passing a couple years ago at around age 15. She was an absolute love, but she also could be very reactive on walks/ in public. She was extremely particular about which dogs she approved and even when she found one she'd be okay with, she often took quite a careful, long introduction to make it work. We went through behavioral training and made some progress, and I was able to take her on many adventures, even despite her still being a bit reactive. I learned a lot about dog behavior and socialization with her. Over the years we also rehab'd an ACL injury and recovery, and had to make life/ home/ meds modifications as she got older and needed some more senior dog TLC. I am happy to visit/ walk any dogs, behavioral "quirks" and all, as long as I know about their strengths, challenges, and how to support them, in advance. For boarding/ any care within my own home, I am only able to accept dogs that are excellent with young children (I have two dog-loving kids under age 5). I'm a teacher, so my schedule varies based on the time of year! During the school year: I can do weekend walks, or dog sitting, ideally at my home, through the weekend. During the summer months: My schedule is flexible! I'm happy to do quick potty breaks for pups during the day, regular walks, filling in for random days you have to work longer than usual, boarding/ dog sitting (again, ideally at my home since I have two little kids) I've always loved my pets as members of the family! I will give your pet all the love and care that I'd give my own! I am happy to follow any pre-established expectations and appreciate knowing anything that's going to help make my time with your pet as comfortable and fun for them as possible in your absence. I also love capturing adorable pictures of animals lounging, playing, etc. so I will definitely send pics during / after my visit if you want them! We don't currently have any pets in our home. Our dogs were allowed on the couch, bed, anywhere, and I was usually curled right up with them, but I of course plan to follow any rules/ standard expectations that you have established for your pets and/or your home.

About: Hello! My name is Milia and I am have grown up in Vermont my whole life. I have always adored animals for as long as I can remember and I believe this would be a great time for me to get familiar some pups before I get my own. I always grew up with animals in my family so I am very passionate about making sure they are always receiving the correct care. I love going to dog parks, long walks, and many snuggles to make sure they know that they are loved while away from there owners! I currently work remotely so I have more time to focus on the dogs without having to leave for work! Plus I have company throughout my day! I live by the water in a more rural area. I have a yard for the dogs to run around and if they enjoy swimming can take them down to the water!

About: We have a fenced in yard for the pups. I worked as a dogsled tour guide at Stratton mountain. I had a dog growing up, and now currently have 2 Siberian huskies, age 5 and 9. I own my own business and work from home or on my own schedule which is extremely flexible and allows me to spend as much time as I want with my own animals. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs. I live in a quiet neighborhood very friendly for walking dogs and exercising the dogs.
