I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all different sizes and breeds. My main option on here is dog boarding but I also do drop ins and dog walking! My schedule varies, so drop off and pick up times will be determined at the request of the service. I live in a house with a fenced in yard that I am sure your pup would enjoy! I look forward to spoiling your fur baby and making them feel home away from home! Currently working from home so I am able to keep a close eye on your fur baby and they can feel at home. About: 💗 30+ Years Experience | Pet Lover & Rescue Mom 💗 About Me: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 30 years of hands-on pet care experience. From seniors to puppies, shy cats to sassy small breeds—I’ve cared for them all with patience, love, and genuine joy. I live with a small crew of rescues who remind me every day why I do this. Meet my furry family: 🐾 Sadie – my 17-year-old gentle senior pup who’s full of wisdom and love 🐾 Harley – a 9-year-old tuxedo cat with a flair for the dramatic and a heart of gold (even if he pretends otherwise) 🐾 Nemo – my 7-year-old Pomchi with a signature pout and a heart that melts for cuddles 🐾 Marley – a 5 lb Chi and the definition of a momma’s boy, always by my side Each of them came to me as a rescue, and their individual personalities have taught me how to tune into an animal’s needs—whether it’s a slow introduction, a cozy nap buddy, or just the right way to scratch behind the ears. I specialize in senior care, shy or anxious pets, and multi-pet households. I’m comfortable with all sizes and temperaments, and I treat every pet as if they were my own—because I know how important they are to you. What you can expect when your pet is with me: ✅ Calm, loving environment ✅ Personalized care based on your pet’s needs ✅ Medication administration (oral/injectable if needed) ✅ Regular updates and photos ✅ Deep understanding of pet body language & behavior Whether you’re headed out for a weekend or need a daily drop-in, you can feel confident your pet is in capable and compassionate hands. Let’s talk about how I can help give your pet a safe, loving experience while you’re away! I have a flexible job that allows me to schedule check-in visits throughout the week, so I’m available for midday potty breaks, feedings, or quick play sessions. I’m also free most weekends and happy to help with your pet care needs when you’re away! Safety & Trust Come First—In Your Home or Mine Whether your pet stays with me or I care for them in your home, their comfort, routine, and safety are always my top priority. 🏠 In My Home: 🐾 Calm, pet-friendly space with constant supervision 🐾 Safe, secure, and clean environment—no hazards or crowded areas 🐾 Slow, thoughtful introductions to my own friendly rescue pets 🐾 Comfortable areas for seniors, small breeds, and nervous pets 🐾 Personalized care for puppies, kittens, and special needs pets 🐾 Experience with oral meds, eye drops, topical treatments, and some injectables (with instructions) 🚪 In Your Home: 🏡 Respectful, responsible care in your pet’s familiar environment 🔒 I follow your safety protocols: gates, crates, feeding routines, meds 🐕 I never rush—each visit includes time for cuddles, play, and proper care 📸 You’ll receive regular photo updates and check-ins for peace of mind 🩺 Experienced with senior and special needs pets—mobility issues, incontinence care, anxiety, or routine-based behavior needs 🍼 Confident with young puppies and kittens, including feeding schedules, socialization, and extra clean-up care With 30+ years of experience, I’ve learned how to tune into each pet’s unique needs and provide care that’s not just safe—but truly loving. Whether you’re heading out for a few hours or a full vacation, you can trust your pets are in good hands.
About: All my life I have always had a furry friend and that love is more unique than any love you could get. One thing I live by is loving and treating every pet like they are my own and I have experience from new born puppies to helping with the needs of senior dogs/cats and everyday I am still learning. I am available most days out of the week as long as it is in advanced and can accommodate your needs. I’m available every weekend and holidays! I currently have 1 dog that lives with me but unfortunately will not be able to care for any at my own home. At your home I can work with whatever task you are given me and can be flexible if for example, told there is no fenced yard or if the pet needs to be kept outdoors. I will not be able to stay over nights but can care for pets as long as I need to!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I can remember. We have always been a family of pet lovers. Pets are more than just pets to me; they are family! I’d be happy to assist in caring for your loved ones as if they’re one of my own. I am currently self-employed and able to adjust my schedule as needed by my Rover clients. I am usually available between 7 am and 10 pm as well as for overnight/weekend sitting. I have a fenced in yard and 6 kitties at my home. Happy to help with drop ins, walks, overnights, and boarding in special circumstances.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and currently own a Great Dane and a Frenchie, so I’m comfortable with both large and small breeds. I regularly care for my aunt’s dogs—walking, feeding, and giving them love when she’s away. I also have experience with senior dogs and understand the patience and attention they need. Every pup I care for is treated like family! I work part-time, so I always head straight home after work to care for my dogs. I stick to a consistent routine—feeding, medication, and bathroom breaks are all done on schedule. I never leave pets alone for long hours and make sure they feel secure and cared for throughout the day. Keeping them on a familiar routine is my priority. I care for my pets by giving them plenty of outdoor time in our fenced yard to play, sunbathe, and get their energy out. I’m careful on hot days, making sure they don’t stay out too long. We play fetch, and I stick to a routine of baths and nail trims. Since my dogs have seasonal allergies, I clean their ears regularly and keep their environment clean to ensure they stay happy and healthy.

About: Hi! I’m a passionate and experienced dog lover with over 4 years of hands on experience working at a busy doggy daycare. In that role, I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Handling everything from playtime supervision and feeding to administering basic care and ensuring a safe, happy environment for every pup. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve grown up around them, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog like they’re my own with patience, attention, and lots of love. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, a reliable sitter, or just some extra attention while you’re away, you can count on me to provide dependable, attentive, and compassionate care. I’m comfortable with high energy dogs, shy pups, and everything in between! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend! I’m a teacher during the week, so my pet care schedule fits perfectly around that! I’m available in the afternoons/evenings on weekdays, and I have full availability on weekends, holidays, and throughout the summer. This allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and consistency when their owners need it most. I have a dog of my own, but I live in an apartment, so boarding in my home isn’t ideal. My dog is friendly so play dates are definitely an option if you’re okay with it! I prefer caring for pets in their own environment where they’re most comfortable. In a client’s home, I always follow all provided instructions closely and do my best to keep your pet’s routine as normal and consistent as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or any specific care needs. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and stress free while you’re away.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a kid because growing up I would always come home with new ones all the time! I have all the time to play and train dogs now because I got one of my own. I also used to work at Sherwood South Animal Emergency and Critical Care Center as a kennel attendant. So I really have a lot of hands on experience on running a kennel as well as dealing with the hurt animals in the ER. And I know a lot about medication, routines and food routines so it shouldn’t be a problem with the experience I have. If I didn’t have to move to Lafayette Louisiana, I would love to stay at the emergency hospital, but we wanted to move to a family safe area. I really had a lot of love for the animals that I took care of and was really a great experience. I’m currently working part time and can sit or board pups durning the weekdays and weekends!! From 9am to 7pm I could walk the pups. Boarding whenever!! I have a black lab puppy at the moment and train and take her for walks very often. It would be great for her to have some pups for friends we have a fence in yard and a dog park as well!
About: I have hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs. I currently have my own Golden Retriever, which has given me daily experience with feeding routines, exercise, training reinforcement, and overall care for an active dog. I also live with a cat, so I’m very familiar with cat behavior, litter box maintenance, and creating a calm, comfortable environment for them. In addition to my personal experience, I work in the medical field, which has made me very attentive, responsible, and calm in any situation. I’m confident in my ability to notice changes in behavior, respond appropriately, and handle unexpected situations with care and good judgment. I work part time/ PRN so my schedule is flexible I can come in the early mornings and late afternoons! But open to flexibility for the owners I have a fenced in yard with 2 doggies at my house and 1 cat. They all get along and have experience training my dog for the past two years

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
