About: Ever since I was little, I’ve loved animals. I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, took two years of veterinary classes, and even worked at a veterinary clinic as my first job. Life took me on a different route but I never stopped loving animals. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, whether they need a walk, playtime, fresh food and water, medications, or just lots of love and attention. I’m also the person who stops for every stray animal (my husband has had to remind me we can’t keep them all! 😂). I have 3 dogs, 2 cats and a gecko at home. Most of them are strays so jokes on him! As a wife and mom, I understand how important it is to know your loved ones are in good hands. About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for a very long time you can even say my whole life. I’ve raised cats, dogs, birds, chinchillas, even a chameleon from babies to adults. I’ve potty trained many puppies, taught them tricks, and even cared for pregnant mommas with puppies. Cats are more of my specialty though i’ve litter box trained them, taught them to walk on a leash, tamed feral cats/kittens. I also volunteer from time to time at the Acadiana Animal Aid shelter helping care for cats/dogs in need of homes. I’m currently working full-time. I work an 8 hour day normally from 8 am - 5 pm, my hours are flexible though. I also have a 1 hour lunch I can take. I’m completely free most weekends. I have a mostly fenced yard where my dog Huck loves to play, it is a little small but we make do with the space we have. My dog and cats gets fed twice a day morning/evening. If I’m caring for an animal in a clients home I can visit in the mornings/lunch/evenings depending on the care needed.
