I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and other animals. While I was stationed at Fort Polk, many of my fellow Soldiers would go on leave, travel home for the holidays, or be away for training. Since I stayed in Louisiana and did not travel because I purchased my home here, I was often happy to help by caring for their pets. I would feed them, take them on walks, play with them, exercise them, make sure they had fresh water, and give them plenty of attention until their owners returned. I have experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and energy levels, and I understand that every pet has its own personality and routine. I am CPR certified, physically fit, dependable, and treat every animal like family. I have a spacious home where pets have room to relax and feel comfortable, and I will always make sure they receive the care, exercise, and affection they deserve. My goal is to provide a safe, loving environment so you can have peace of mind while you are away.

Jairo boarded our dog in his home while we were traveling over the weekend. He and his wife were very attentive to my dog’s needs, and treated her like their own. We received cute photo updates of her cuddled on the couch, sunning on the patio, playing with their dog, and enjoying evening walks. Jairo is very experienced and patient with dogs and is a natural at reading dog behavior and providing safety and comfort in his home. We even had a couple of meet and greets to discuss my dog’s personality ahead of the trip and to ensure my dog got along with his animals. He appropriately introduced his animals to mine, and it gave us reassurance that our dog would be in good hands. Everyone became fast friends! She was so spoiled and loved! Highly recommend Jairo and will definitely be booking again! 🐶

I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable pet care throughout the week. As a 1099 contractor, my hours vary, which gives me the ability to work around your pet’s needs. Whether your pet needs a morning walk, midday check-in, evening care, or overnight attention, I will do my best to accommodate your schedule. I understand how important consistency is, and I am committed to making sure your pet feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you are away.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, calm, and loving environment where every pet is treated like family. I am CPR certified and have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. My wife and I have rescued stray cats and cared for numerous animals over the years, so we understand the patience and attention every pet deserves. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any special requests you have. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and receiving excellent care.
