About: I've taken care of animals my whole life, from dogs and cats to reptiles and amphibians, I've care for most! Being aware and responsive to your pets needs is key! I do contract work so my schedule is flexible most of the time. Generally up late so don't mind odd hours. Also available for early mornings as well, schedule can usually made to accommodate. I have reliable transportation and can travel whenever needed. I'm comfortable and experienced in giving pets medicine or injection if need be, and I'm willing to adapt to whatever needs your pets may have.

About: We would love to take care of your furry family member while you're away! We will make sure he has a marvelous time with all of us. My husband and I grew up on farms in Kentucky and have loved dogs all our lives. Our kids also love dogs! We have a large fenced yard, and there are lots of walking areas nearby. We would take your dog on a walk or let him romp around the yard. We do have a cat named Eleanor and kids, so it is important that your furry friend be comfortable around cats and children. Eleanor mostly keeps to herself, so as long as your dog doesn't chase or bark at her, things should go fine! Why I love dog sitting We've loved dogs our entire lives. We don’t have a dog at the moment so enjoy caring for pups when their owners are away. About my yard We do have a large fenced yard! My experience administering medication Yes, we are comfortable administering medication. I work from home so am happy to have a furry friend keep me company and get some exercise together. Your pet won’t be lonely! I have a fully fenced yard with lots of space to play and explore. The fenced area is almost 1/2 an acre so plenty of room.

About: I've watched all types of dogs, from puppies to senior dogs.. I love them all!!! I have been caring for other peoples dogs for as many years as I can remember. I work full time at a time bank, but have lots of time after work and on the weekends to love on your fur babies!!! About: I’m a recent animal science graduate from UK, and have fostered and sat multiple dogs through 4Paws for Ability—a program that trains service dogs! I also spend time volunteering at the Lexington Humane Society, and grew up with several dogs of my own. I currently work at a vet clinic, and am hoping to eventually attend vet school myself. About: I have taken care of a large poodle for a few weeks multiple times a year. I had to feed once a day and let outside. In addition, I have taken care of 3 dogs feeding them once a day. I have taken care of a cat and dog, cleaning the litter boxes and letting the dog out. Lastly, I have house sat/dog sat for an older dog that got fed twice a day. I have experience in house sitting for long periods while animals are present. On the other hand, I have a lot of experience farm and house sitting. This can sometimes include taking care of horses in addition to farm dogs and cats or just house sitting with an animal present. About: We came across the Cavapoo breed as our loving Rottweiler was on his journey to his “better place”. We chose the Cavapoo breed as our furry rainbow puppy to help us all with the tough loss. Fast fwd 5 years, and WOW, still can’t believe the journey that was created for us. Dog breeding, training, boarding and grooming just the way I would want my pups taken care of…in a home. Our setup is ready for all stages of dogs and of course, personalities. This is a small family business and we make pet care fit seamlessly into our lives. We’re a party of 4 and all hands are always on deck. 4:00 am wake up call during the week and 6:00 am on weekends. Caring for pets in our home can consist of taking your pets normal routine that’s already established and following it. Help keep your animal on a schedule of food timing to crate or bedroom boarding. We live in a neighborhood with a 6 foot privacy fenced in back yard. A 3,000 gallon Koi pond surrounded by 800 square feet of deck. Nice plush outdoor furniture for the dogs to lounge next to the pond after a drink. We have also built a 200 square foot doggie palace on our property. Full electricity with heating/air and additional ceiling fan. Great for rainy days or dogs who are lone rangers and/or feisty.

Wow - can’t say enough good things about Amber! I was in charge of setting up 2 days of pet walking for about 10 dogs/6 pet parents during a RV rally in Frankfurt, KY. After several strike outs, Amber agreed to take on the job. She was super responsive, came over the night before the job to meet the pet parents, dogs, and get instructions. She was organized and efficient, making everyone feel comfortable and confident that their pups would be properly cared for. One dog was newly rescued and was quite shy, but she worked with the dog and owner to make him as comfortable as possible. She sent pictures and info, and left a nice note on the last day. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
