About: A retired marine biologist. I have had dogs my entire life. Raised puppies and watched them grow old. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels. I just retired. I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. I enjoy walking dogs. Just tell me how long or how far they need to be walked and we will try to hit that distance. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding. I have no kids on property. All additional fees are negotiable if you live close, puppies are well behaved, house trained, and close to 1 yr old.

I’m experienced with all types of breeds and various ages, so no dog is too big or small! I have plenty of time throughout the week to cater to your pets and treat them like family! We can go on walks or take a trip to the park. Maybe even enjoy a nice day out at the beach! Safety is my number one priority aside from your pets happiness! Nobody would love hearing that your fur baby has gone missing, so I love to hear about your dogs habits (if any) so I can cater to their needs. Escape artist? I can easily crate dogs if needed and follow any feeding or medication instructions you provide to make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home. I also have one camera at home where it overlooks the living room and front door of the house. If needed to step out for a bit, rest assured I am able to have access to see them during that time and send pictures as well!

About: I’ve raised my pup from 6 weeks until 3 years old. I LOVE dogs, especially pittys. I plan to get a dog in a couple of years so I would be so happy to help take care of your fur baby until I can get my own. I am working full-time and out of the house Tuesday to Thursday from 6:30am-4pm. I am available in the evenings and all day Friday until Monday. I have a big house and a yard and currently do not have any pets in my home. My house is smoke free and child free. I am happy to provide pictures and videos throughout the time I have them; whatever will make you feel comfortable! I prefer to keep dogs in my house to provide the best safety measures. But I can totally keep them outside if that’s what you prefer.

Despite their differences in size and breed, Wally and McHale were great friends and provided hours of entertainment with their antics. If I had to go out of town, I could always count on Joel to take McHale into his home while I was away. Joel would often send me videos and funny pics of the dogs playing together. I'm pretty sure that McHale had so much fun with Joel and Wally that he was a little disappointed when I showed up to retrieve him. Siberian huskies are not an easy breed to take care of and McHale was a notorious escape artist, but Joel never had a problem with him and I would trust him today with any of my dogs without hesitation. Any dog owner who cares about their animal would be lucky to have Joel as their pet caregiver.”
