About: I have always been passionate about animals and grew up being a "Dog Girl". I would opt to study dog breeds before bed instead of bed time stories and quiz my parents on walks and car rides. I've cared for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Yorkies, and French Bulldogs all the way up to Giant Schnauzers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Labradoodles! Once I moved out on my own and moved into a studio apartment I realized that I may not have room physically for a dog but I would be able to help out cats who are waiting for their furever homes. I have been fostering cats for 5 years and have been able to help cats in both Chicago and New Orleans acclimate to home life as they await their adoption. I have "Foster Failed" and do have my own cat, Dolly, who is my constant companion. I often care for my friends animals in the area and look forward to meeting your fury family member! I do have blocks of time through out the day where I can check in and spend time with your fur baby. I have a pretty flexible schedule but it does fluctuate. I would be able to work with your animal's schedule but it will depend sometimes week to week or month to month. I have a lot of free time in early morning, around lunch and late evenings every day with most days having free afternoons and/or evenings. I will not be hosting animals in my home at this time but I do have space for animals as I often foster shelter cats in my home.

Couldn’t be happier with Minami’s care! My dog is a rescue and can even become a bit aggressive towards strangers in the house. When I got home from a weeks long vacation, Birdie was running after Minami for one last snuggle before she left! Needless to say, Minami will always be our number one sitter. Our little dog loved being with Katrina!! She was stellar!! Katrina was so kind and gentle with her and even brought her out and about town since our little dog is very social and thrives on going out. We could not have asked for a better sitter! We enjoyed getting all the superior updates with pics and videos whilst away. Our home was also well respected and very clean and tidy upon our return home while being away for 5 days. Jacob was great with our dog! He handled giving him twice daily insulin injections like a pro, was communicative, and sent us regular photos of a very happy pup. We got home to a clean house and a healthy, relaxed dog. We will absolutely use Jacob again as a sitter!
Elise is wonderful with my dogs! I have 2 older dogs, one super friendly and one that’s more anxious that takes time to get used to people. They have both been taken care of and it shows. And their routine isn’t interrupted at all. Elise updates me often and does their favorite things with them, taking them on walks and playing fetch with them. I couldn’t recommend her more!
Blakely did an awesome job caring for my two pups for the weekend! She was very responsive and sent lots of pictures/updates. our dogs can get anxious when we leave town but they were very relaxed and happy when we arrived home so I know they had a great time and got lots of love and attention while we were gone! She also washed the towels and sheets before she left which was so thoughtful and above and beyond! Will definitely book with her again!
Laura is a shining star from above that has graced us with her lovely presence to tend to our 20 year old pup’s needs. We breathe a serene sigh of relief knowing Laura will be in our home attending to our dogs wants/needs. She is very delicate towards our pup and treats our home with the utmost care. After getting to know her, we feel like she is a dear friend. We rely on her to take care of our number one dog in our lives. She is just stellar.
Heather was an absolutely amazing sitter for our cat Lizzie. Lizzie has not had many sitters and she usually takes a while to warm up to new people but she was cuddling immediately because Heather has great energy and takes such good care of your pet. She's kind and caring, made sure to update us at every step along the way, took great pictures, and really showed our girl the kind of love and attention that all pets need when you're away! Everything was super easy and we would HIGHLY recommend Heather.
Cody went above and beyond caring for my rabbit. She sent many pictures twice a day during the drop in visits and it helped me feel at ease while being away on a 10 day trip. Brittany went above above above and beyond caring for my Juno! She took Juno on field trips, kept Juno engaged and close by her. She brought Juno on numerous fun walks to Audubon Park. She slept with Juno and bathed her and brushed her. She gave Juno all. of her medication for a rash. Juno just absolutely loved Brittany and I could tell Brittany really loved Juno.
