About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who loves all creatures big or small, furry or scaly. I grew up with pets of all kinds and have always enjoyed caring for them, spending time with them, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I currently have two dogs, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your beloved pet. One is a 5-year old pit/boxer mix and the other is a new member of the household who is just a puppy and is a Catahoula/pit mix. I also have a human baby, so I’d prefer your fur baby be good with kiddos, but I can keep them separate if needed. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, feeding, or simply some extra love while you’re away, I’d be happy to help! My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your furry family members receive plenty of attention, care, and affection. 🐾❤️ I have my own in-home daycare with little ones M-F so I am home all the time, making it convenient for me to care for your furry friend when needed. We usually spend a majority of our days in the basement where I have my daycare space set up, so the animals can have a quieter area (unless they’d rather be with me and the kiddos) on the main floor, which is fairly spacious. My husband also has a flexible job where he can work at home fairly often, so he will also be around to help with the animals when needed. I have a smaller sized fenced backyard and a super friendly and submissive 5-year old pup of my own that can help make your pet feel comfortable here. Your dog has free range of the house, but I can also crate him/her if preferred.

I know every pet has their own personality, quirks, and comfort level, and I want them to feel safe and relaxed while they’re away from home. Your pet will be cared for in our home, with a large fenced-in yard, plenty of attention, and a family who genuinely loves animals. I’m also comfortable following specific routines, feeding instructions, medications, crating, or other care preferences you have for your pet. I think one of the biggest things I offer is peace of mind. I’ll treat your pet like a guest in our home, not just another booking. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the day. I can accommodate your pet’s normal routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime, medications, and potty breaks. My goal is to make sure your pet receives consistent care and attention while you’re away. When your pets stay with me, they’re not just being boarded, they’re staying in our home and becoming part of the family while you’re away! I provide a safe, comfortable, and low-stress environment where your pets can stick to their normal routine and get plenty of love and attention. I’ll follow your care instructions, schedule, and any special needs to make their stay as easy and familiar as possible. We have a large, fenced-in yard where dogs can safely get outside and enjoy some playtime and fresh air. I also have teenagers who absolutely love animals, so your pets will have plenty of extra attention and affection (if they’re interested in it, of course! 😂). I also have a gated kitchen area that can be used if you prefer your dog to be safely contained while we’re away. If your dog is crate-trained and you’d rather they be crated when we leave, I’m happy to follow that routine as well. Your pet’s comfort and your preferences come first. I know leaving your pets with someone else can be stressful, so I want you to feel confident that they’re in a safe, loving home. I’ll treat your pets the same way I’d want someone to treat mine, with lots of love, patience, attention, and care. 🐶🐱❤️

Monte felt comfortable right away exploring every part of his house and meeting Shadow, which put me at ease. I got updates with photos, and it was clear Monte was having a great time and was well cared for. When I picked him up, he was all smiles and full of good energy. Dillon followed Monte’s complex feeding schedule and made sure he got plenty of outdoor time. (and ear rubs) He truly treats every dog like his own. “This was our first experience with the Rover app and Shannon taking care of Maggie. It could not have been a better experience! Shannon was great with communication and very timely. We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. About: I have fostered for 8 years now off and on- dogs and cats. I love getting to know each new animal's personality and what works for them! I work full time during the week but am home on the weekends while my partner is gone on the weekends and home two days during the week. I have a fully fenced backyard for potty time and to enjoy some sun. My home's main floor is baby gated to give everyone time away from each other if they need a break or just some one on one time!
