“This was our first experience with the Rover app and Shannon taking care of Maggie. It could not have been a better experience! Shannon was great with communication and very timely. We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions. Right from the start, we were very comfortable and confident that Shannon would take great care of Maggie. She was very personable and kept us informed during our travels with pics/updates. When arriving to pick her up, Maggie was happy & seemingly didn't care that we had returned. It was very obvious that Maggie was well cared for and SPOILED! We highly recommend Shannon and won't hesitate to use her again. (6+ 🌟)”

“Sophia was great stopping by watching my cat, and she was helpful even though I had some uncertainty with my dates. She responded quickly and sent me pictures while I was away for the holidays, and I came back home to a happy cat! Highly recommend!”

“This was our first time needing someone to house/pet sit. I was a bit nervous, but Andrew was confident at the meet and greet that everything would be just fine. He took wonderful care of our fur babies. He gave us updates. He sent us some wonderful pictures and a video of Lucy playing. He asked good questions. I was able to leave town for the first time in a while and enjoy myself knowing someone was going to be there. He did the expected chores morning and evening. He kept the house in great order. He had to do a little extra cleanup after one of the kitties had an accident. I would absolutely have Andrew stay and care for our cats again.”

“Addison watched our cat Maxwell for 10 days, and she did a great job! She stayed in touch with us during the trip sending updates and pictures of Maxwell. We really appreciated that! She put in alot of effort trying to make him feel comfortable, and connecting with him. I can definitely recommend her as a pet sitter, and would book her again in a heartbeat to watch our cat.”

“Tia took such great care of our four cats while I was away, which is no small feat! I’m caretaking for my parents, who have limited mobility and can’t care for the cats on their own, and Tia was so thoughtful about coordinating visit times with them each day. She was a great communicator, followed all instructions, and sent wonderful updates after every visit. Thank you, Tia! I really appreciated the care you gave our kitties and highly recommend booking her if you’re looking for a reliable and friendly sitter.”

“Luke was great! He sent pictures each day and gave me an update. He never gave up on winning over one of my cats and it finally paid off. I appreciate his professionalism.”

About: Cats are such special animals. Having two of my own and helping my neighbors when they’re away, I love the quirky personalities. I know the importance of respecting boundaries and giving them safe places to be themselves. Scheduled feedings, clean litter boxes and engaged play time, I will treat your fur baby as my own.
“Don’t hesitate on having these two watch your pets! They are so kind and love what they do! I loved all of their updates and photos. I will definitely be using them again!”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 9. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to care for their pets while they were out of town. I have experience with different breeds, sizes, and personalities of dogs from gentle greyhounds to energetic border collies! I also have experience petsitting multiple dogs and cats at once. I am a teacher on summer break so I have lots of time and attention to devote to your animals! I am available at any time of the day. I have a fenced in backyard and I live walking distance from a lot of great dog walking spots! I am also available to care for pets in their own home.

“Katherine was super awesome with my rescue who has major trust issues. It's so hard to line up friends and family to let your critters out for potty breaks when you are away. Katherine makes the process much smoother. I felt very comfortable knowing that she was there handle things. She even sent some pics of the dogs!”

About: I've had cats my whole life (22 years), so I've had my fair share of cleaning litter boxes, treats, play time, brushing, feeding, etc. I have 3 cats right now and 2 are on medicine (pill and insulin) so I also feel comfortable being able to administer medication to your cat! I love seeing different personalities and colorings in cats and Hi! I’m a dependable and patient pet sitter with a special soft spot for cats having grown up with them! I understand that every cat has their own personality — some are playful and social, while others prefer quiet company and their personal space. I take the time to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for at their own pace. I’m experienced with daily feeding routines, litter box cleaning, playtime, administering basic medications if needed, and giving plenty of attention (or space!) depending on what your cat prefers. 2 out of 3 of my personal cats is on medicine (pill and insulin) so I am no stranger to administering medicine. I also know how important consistency and a calm environment are for cats, especially while their owners are away. I’ll make sure you stay updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your cat is happy and well cared for. I will treat every pet like they’re my own and make their time away from you as stress-free as possible as I know I would want the same for my furry babies! I’d love to meet you and your cat!
“Courtney was amazing caring for Peanut. Peanut likes to hide when we are gone. We did show her his hiding spot. She was great at sending us pictures of him. And as time went on, he even came out of his hiding spot and rubbed up against her leg. So that was amazing!! She took excellent care of him and I would highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve taken care of 3 cats at once and one had to take medication twice a day. I have also handled cats at the shelter as well as kittens. I understand they tend to be a little more shy and not as easy going when getting to know other people but I love them.
“Kaeli was great! Super friendly and I really appreciated the quick turnaround for a meet and greet and first drop in visit. She left me a detailed message about the visit and pictures of our pup having a great time with her! We will definitely be rebooking!”

“Chloe is amazing! My dogs can be very shy around new people but they warmed up to Chloe instantly! Her positive energy and warmth made me feel so comfortable leaving my boys in her care! Will definitely rebook with Chloe!”

About: My family has always owned animals ever since I was born but ever since I was 13, I got my own dog. We already had two smaller dogs but I wanted our first big dog so I adopted my lab and took care of him ever since. From since I was 13 to 20, I have also taken 3 cats under my care as well. I work an 8-5 job at a veterinarian clinic and wanted to do more of what I like which is taking care of cats and dogs. I like to take the dogs on a walk when the weather permits. I make sure they are let out enough and get the love and care they need as well!

Perfect for high energy dogs - Milan

“We had a good first experience with Emilie as Poppy’s sitter. Poppy seemed to do well during her stay, and we appreciated receiving photo updates while we were away. Communication was smooth throughout, and we didn’t have any complaints. We would be more than comfortable booking with Emilie again in the future.”

“Sierra and Lucas were amazing! They were very prompt to respond and were able to accommodate an almost last minute request. They were very adaptive to our ever changing schedule and gave us wonderful updates throughout the day. Bailey was only there for about 6 hours but it was clear she had a blast and left very tired :) If you are in the area I HIGHLY suggest them to watch your dog.”

“Very patient and kind with a dog you don’t know and will probably not see again since we’re traveling. Thank you for your kindness and care of Judy, as well as tips to help her adjust.”

“Sherry was kind enough to watch our pup on Thanksgiving day so we could spend the day with my husband’s grandma at her assisted living center, which meant so much… thank you! Both her and her husband were incredibly kind and took great care of Geno for us <3”

About: I provide attentive and loving care to pets of all sizes, from small lap dogs to active breeds, as well as bunnies, cats and birds. As I work from home, your pet will receive consistent attention throughout the day, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I take time to understand their needs so they feel secure and relaxed. Every pet in my care is treated as if they were my own. With my work from home environment I am able to deal with pets all times during the week. I do travel some weeks, in which I will not take on any pets. I am flexible on schedules. In the spring I will note I coach, and may be gone for 2-3 hours maximum on some nights if there is an overnight pet. This scheduling information will of be provided ahead of time to ensure you know exactly how your pet will be cared for. As I work from home your pet will be watched all day. Whether they choose to join me or relax elsewhere in the house is up to their preference. I do not have a kennel and am okay with pets being able to roam. I also want to break up my day so they will get walks every 2-4 hours if they would like. I also have a fenced yard that I can see from my office if they are wanting to spend more time outside. Personally I’ll probably be outside with them :)
“We really appreciated Emily's keeping us posted on how our dog Maggie was adjusting to a new environment. Emily and family were very loving and caring toward our dog Maggie.”

About: Hi! I'm Jenna. The "Me every time I see a dog. Do you share this reaction?" meme with Andy from Parks & Recreation is literally me every time I see a dog. I LOVE dogs, cats, sloths, sea otters and pretty much all animals in general. I have a huge heart and SO much love to give! I am very energetic, bubbly, and outgoing...I would love to meet some doggies (and maybe some humans in the process too) and give them some lovins' and exercise :) I work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. I would love to walk your pups or play with them outside of my job. I am available for house sitting dogs and cats. I’m generally available in mornings or afternoons around 4 pm. Since I do work a variety of jobs I just need a days notice but I can usually work around your schedule for the most part! I have experience pet sitting in the home and have done jobs where pet parents are out of town for the weekends or for work trips and I am happy to watch the house as well. I have a kitty cat so I wouldn’t be able to fully board but I’m able to take your doggo on walks, to the park, to a patio, etc etc. I can watch the dog at my house in the backyard but wouldn’t be able to take them inside the home.

“Allison was absolutely wonderful with our two dogs, a playful and high energy 5 year old pug and a very high needs senior. She is so loving with them, and is very patient and focused on our senior dog’s needs. We were totally confident that they were cared for so well all day. We are so grateful to have found her! Ellie and Jake loved their time with her and can’t wait to stay with her again.”

“Grant was a lifesaver for me and my puppies! As a busy night shift nurse I was not sleeping during the day so I could give my puppies attention. It all became too much so that’s when I decided to find a puppy daycare for them. I found Grant and he was open to watching them during the day for me so I can get some sleep! My 8month old puppy Cricket is a shy/ nervous girl and my 3 month old puppy Junebug is rambunctious and sassy. They both loved going to daycare and were thoroughly wore out after spending the day playing at Grant’s house!”

“Tiffany was great! We were traveling through Iowa and needed a place to leave Tommy for the afternoon so we could take a riverboat sightseeing tour. Due to poor planning on my part we had to find someone just a few days before our trip, but Tiffany responded to my request very quickly and was able to take him on short notice. She was so kind, and Tommy warmed up to her quickly. We really appreciated having a great place to take him for the afternoon!”

About: I did a lot of dog/cat sitting back when I was in college (8 years ago). I have some time off of work and would love nothing more than to fill my schedule with watching your pets. I have experience in caring for dogs, cats, chickens, and some reptiles. I am off of work for a couple of months, so my availability is wide open! 7 days a week, morning or night would work. I live on an acreage, so our 3 dogs are on a wireless gps collar system. If your dog/s were to come to my yard, they would need to be somewhat collar-trained. At your house, I can walk dogs, play with your dogs in your yard, and hang out with them inside the house. For cats, I can play with them inside, and give them lots of company.
About: I am also a dog parent and have been for over 12 years. My fur babies consume most my days and why not spread the happiness! I have walked and cared for others here in town and have been given great compliments and encouragement to help others thru this app since it's convenient and trusted! My routine mostly revolves around my fur babies. Morning we spend 2.5 -3 hours exercising exploring and making friends. Afternoon and night time another 30-45 min each one for potty and walk. It'll be very easy to include your pups they'll love the activities and best of all find some of what they're looking for 💚 In home ... each have bed/ room/ crate to be in. In your home i will care for your pet as you requested. Feeding the amount as per pet parent, meds or crate as per owner request

About: I am extremely active and love to run, and love animals of course! I've trained two dogs of my own to run miles at a times with me. I love a good walk tho too, and will gladly walk with your dog :) As far as human babies, I have one under 1, and another under 3 currectly. I am able to keep kids and pets separate if needed. As far as pets, I have one dog, Dixie, a super duper friendly and energetic pittie mix, about 5-6 years old. She gets along with all other dogs, cats (including our 6 year old cat, Murray), adults and kids. We have a nice sized fenced in yard for playing in. I work remotely and my husband also has a flexible job. Between the two of us, we'll ensure your pets needs are covered! As far as experience, I grew up around dogs, and I adopted my own shelter dog, a 50lb pitbull mix at 6 months old in 2018. I trained her and another dog on my own. We will treat your pet like our own, with love and affection. You can rest at ease while you are away that your pet will be comfortable and well taken care of! We've had dogs as young as 4 months, and elderly dogs with special needs. Whatever level attention your pet needs we will do our best to take as good of care of them as their owners do! I work remotely as a real estate agent and my husband is an entrepreneur, so we're both around! It will be me 95% of the time caring for your pet, but my husband may help out when needed. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly, medium sized dog and a cat to keep your fur baby company. You're pet can be crated or kept separate if needed.
“We can’t recommend Luke highly enough. He came to meet us and our dog the afternoon before the first dog walk. Luke asked important questions and we provided information about our dog and our rig. He was flexible in scheduling another care time. Luke sent pictures from the walks and played with Zelda after each walk. Other dog owners in our group were equally impressed.”
“Showed up on time, very friendly, very professional, sent pictures from the walk of our dear little girl, and all went well. Looking forward to using her again. 👍”

About: I've been taking care of dogs fairly recently, my mom owns a malamute who she had to train herself now he's the most well behaved boy- my mom's been giving me insight for a year or so back when I had a reactive pitbull terrier and had been able to mellow the terrier out till her passing. That terrier helped me believe with the proper equipment and patients, dogs and cats are amazing companions As for cats I haven't had much interactions with just yet but I'm willing to befriend and get to know your cat(s) :D Currently unemployed for now, however I am in school but if changes happen I'll give that heads up and make changes to this profile. Need your dog(s) or cat(s) checked up, watered, fed, or taken out for a bathroom break? I'll be on the way!

“Erica exceeded my expectations of the level of care shown to my dog and the professionalism displayed throughout the entire process. The daily photos and updates provided by Erica were very thoughtful and appreciated! Erica will definitely be my first option when the need arises in the future.”

“Joe was really great with my dog who has separation anxiety. He took the time to let her get comfortable and trust him. He also checked in throughout, which gave us peace of mind!”
